nope the two previous leaks are ics the reason you may think they are older is because they have touchwiz, samsungs ui. aokp looks much more advanced because aosp ics is BEAUTIFUL and blows touchwiz out of the water

Umm duh their ICS... doesnt mean its new ICS source... theres ICS builds that some of the leaks use from like march of last year.

They are 4.0.3 already though, so I'd say that's unlikely. If off old code, they would probably be earlier version numbers also.
Sure hope this comes out today cause its raining and stormy here and I'm bored senseless. I searched rootzwiki site and nothing yet. I too follow design gears on twitter. I will keep checking periodically and if I see anything come out I will inform you all here and if you guys hear anything please do the same. In the meantime I'm gonna start backing up things and getting ready. Anyone have any idea what the build numbers may be. We have UCALC4 and UCLD2. Man I'm excitef . Can't wait. Need flashing rehab for my flashing addiction lol.

The CRT screen on/off effect? Probably can enable it like we did pre-CM7 building it in.

I really hope GB and new drivers fix the issues people are having.
I'm stoked for this. Now our custom ROMs can be optimized using proper drivers and what not. This should help development a **** ton.

It's the same Kernel as the Froyo Kernel, can't be the final release, if it is I'm done with my G2X and will be moving to the Sensation. This release doesn't even have the LG camera how can it be the final build?
Its an update isn't that what everyone wanted, now we know that were making progress, that LG hasn't completely abandoned us, and now all custom roms are gonna be that much better, this is a great day for all g2x users everywhere, and it has only just begun.

I don't really care about the GB update. I already have that running the CM nightlies. I want a stable and working phone. One I can depend on to make calls day in and day out. One that gets the same battery life day in and day out. I want the LG drivers to make everything function properly. Mad props to the CM guys for doing what LG has failed to do so far, but now it is time for LG to deliver a REAL working, bug free update so we can experience the phone we are supposed to have.
So the Captivate got 2.3 today. Now I can feel like we're being forgotten, it's finally hit, haha. Oh well, maybe we'll get ours in the next few days!

Our Official is definitely 100% complete and ready, no leaks in a month. They probably won't release it till the end of the month or so.

Why was there update more important than us getting ours???? And it says for the Captivate owners to get this update you'll still have to go through the dreaded Kies system..... lol which is funny cause if we don't get it OTA we will never see it cause this phone doesn't work with Kies.

To be fair, the Cappy was always gonna get it first .. its an older phone, they've probably been working on the GB update for it for a lil longer .. However both the Cappy and the Infuse shouldve had GB months ago. This is exactly why im gonna fork out $700 and get the International Galaxy note :/

Seriously though, the way Samsung / AT&T has screwed up the 2.3.6 UCLA update (and other) I think it is better to wait a little longer so hopefully they can get ICS right. Derping your phone with a hosed AT&T ICS update could potentially be worse than with the 2.3.6 update because there isn't anything to fall back on yet for ICS recovery.

I also have lg nitro, they haven't release any freaking single update, still on 2.3.5!
lg nitro gets really HOT when using gps and car charging!
and phone refuses to charge when it's really hot!

I just tweeted to Samsung and at&t and asked them what's up, but probably wont get a reply back... Htc has always been quick with updates, at least with the phones I've had from them.

1- google is in talks to buy the jello brand
2- that is going to be the name of the new version of android
3- jello will also power the new chromebooks, literally. They will consume one pack of jello per week of use (separate port for water, must leave in fridge for 6 hours before use).
4- apple will sue as soon as Google has its products in a fridge, cause that's were apples belong

There isn't much point to my posting a screen, since mine looks almost identical to the one above. But I'm using adw launcher w/ an ics theme and the nexus clock widget on FB's Valhalla black. Loads of options for goSMS to keep things consistent, too.

Never an official one.... Only if a developer makes one..... Samsung is terrible at rom updates and also there is very little monetary incentive for them to do so.... They want you to get Samsung galaxy so 3 or whatever new one they will release

Actually Raver fried his CPU/gpu on his phone which ended the life of his sgs4g

I thought he said he passed it on to other members of Team ACID. Oh Well i guess all bets are on Thomas Well let's keep or fingers crossed that he will finish Mutt soon.

thomas is putting all his effort and time free he has on getting mutt/slim/ics port to work...I've been witness to this lol.

Lol... Yes you have man! It's a difficult thing to port the ics ROM using a gingerbread kernel...

No ones rushing you Thomas, I have been in the Army and i know how little free time you have between training cycles, That's Partially why i was wondering what happened to Raver's ICS. That Way it might not seem like the weight of this does not set solely on your shoulders. The other part was just pure curiosity I read about it a few months ago and never heard anything else about it.

Also I just remembered that Kraver said he compiled his version from the source code, so doesn't that mean that that there is an ICS kernel for the sgs4g floating around out there? Granted an untested kernel, but an ICS kernel none the less. I am obviously not the most knowledgeable person on the subject, Granted I don't even know if that info will actually help you at this point, but it was something I just remembered when you said that you where trying to use a GB kernel. Either way we have faith in you if these guys can do it so can you!!!
