[Q] Imagewind has stopped working

I noticed about 5 days ago, that the Imagewind App has stopped working along with the Web App. I know development has ceased, but does anyone know how to get a hold of the developer to just check things out?

Have tried to contact the dev but cannot reach him at all, the captcha window on the page isnt working too so you cannot leave a comment

ImageWind has been re released to take the new API's into account and works with Mango, i presume it will still not make it onto the marketplace so here is the Xap.

Just noticed that they have a safe browse function in this ver, it was the adult content that had failed it the first time. Anyways its good to see it back, very interesting app

LAST.FM FREE - Now removed from Market

Sure, this app allowed you to download songs for free... but it was still a cool interface & a nice quick way to load up a track(especially old hard-to-find ones). I just had the .apk installed last night but loaded a new rom today & then saw it was gone.
Sadly, this was an .apk I didnt keep a backup of on my pc otherwise i'd try installing it again now. Anyone else used it?

Was it the official Last.fm app? If that's the case, I'm still seeing it. Humm.

I followed your link to the market and it seems working fine for me but there are many disappointing comments about its use in my country (Greece) even if you are a premium user... The link is active though

Indeed... I can also view the market link so we can safely assume that the app itself, wasn't actually removed. Also, Greek users are very disappointed by it because one cannot listen to music from his phone even if he/she is a premium user, as dimnik83 stated... which is in fact strange. English, German and American users, seem to be enjoying the use of this app to its fullest but us Greeks... well that's a different story... sadly. That aside, Last.fm is still up and running on the market.

im not talking about the official app. it was another app that was entitled Last.FM Free.
if you do a google search for " last.fm free " it shows up on the search results(7th link), but when you click it it's gone.

even whozzaat free message to india apps is deleted from the market..
how do we get them ?..

Same case ... searching for "Last.FM Free Version 3.1.1" NOT the official Last.FM Apk.

Apparently its not cost effective on Android but its fine on Xbox Live and Windows Phone 7. I find that kind of odd since Android has a lot higher user base than Windows Phone. But I bet Microsoft made a deal with them.

I really hope you get this.
I emailed the developer of this app cos I had it on a phone from 2010, even though I couldn't directly view detail for the app, the developer name was right underneath it.

i have an old apk for the good one not the scrobbling bs thatson the market now but tjhis is my first time to post in any forum so not sure how to send it from my android phone i would be glad to send it so you could tell me if you have better luck with it than me cause me n my wife truly loved this app more than any other music app ever

sorry but i won't promote some piracy method, so you'll have to learn yourself how to dld some xaps even if they don't appear in public marketplace...
it's really easy in fact...if you have the xap id you'll get it.
on another hand I would be most proud if i could crack that app for other brands use...

What kind of help you are looking for? The screenshot you've posted shows exactly what is the problem. You've reached limit of allowed dev apps (or sideloaded apps) for your unlock type. Uninstall some and you'll be able to install that one. Or search forum for interop-unlock.

After I install this, where do I find it? It doesn't show up under "C" or "N" in my applist.

For anybody who can't install or use that app. I use YAPF application - this is the same, but not only for Nokia - other devices too. This app is in market place for free:

Nice, but Wikitude app supported search only with Bing (in Polish it's wrong). In Yapf we can select Bing or Google.

Never mind just found the english version.

This app supported three languages:
•English
•Italiano
•Polski
When you downloaded it from market place for your country (not Poland or Italy) and you have in phone settings selected language English - you downloading and install automaticaly English version.

Works fine on my LG Optimus 7, no problems at all. (Original English beta version)
But probobly because I changed my phone a bit like it says on my signature.
If you manage to get the OEM work then the phone also believes that it is a NOKIA and if it believes its a NOKIA then it works quite different.
I can't use any of my LG apps, just get pop ups saying that I need to be using an LG device.
I downloaded it via Nokia Labs for marketplace link.

I am new to this world, buy 710 to my girl as a gift. Now she wants a specific ringtone. But need Zune (it refuse to install) Windows Embedded S 7, downloaded 2 times and always get error.
So I was wondering if is there a way to set the ringtone on the go, for example in Android that is the world I know the most, you can set it, just need a file explorer then copy the file to the folder Ringtone in your SD Card, and viola you got to ringtones and there is the file you just copied. Any similar in Windows 7.8?.

1: Generally, avoid cross-posting. If you must cross-post (put the same message to multiple forums), make it clear what you're asking and don't force us to chase links.
2: Use a meaningful thread title. This one fails that test, hard. I read (almost) every thread in this forum section; most people won't bother with one that has a title like this.
3: Always search before posting. There are multiple apps that can convert MP3 to ringtones for WP7.

My WP7 device is currently out of commission, but a search for "mp3 ringtone" on the WP8 marketplace turns up literally dozens of apps, many of which I know work on WP7 and some of which are explicitly to do what you need.
Alternatively, you could try solving the problem with Zune. What is the *exact* version of Windows you're trying to install it on?

If you're phone is dev unlocked or interop unlocked, you can always use my R1ng3D app , otherwise there are some good ringtone apps on the marketplace.

Will try your advice and try the app that the developer point me to. The windows is Windows Embedded Standar 7. The Zune thing is the last one I want to try, cuz want on the go solution.

These WILL NOT WORK.. You must receive a invite from Ms to be a tester . once you install the apps when they start they verify your status.
ALSO Someone posted link to the apps in the Thread I started. (not sure why you started a new one) MS Messaged him and told him to TAKE DOWN THE APP LINKS..
Just giving you a heads up.. Read in the other Thread

Yes there are some post on the yammer Forum about this . Some are having trouble getting the d/load links after they get the Tester approval email. Some have reported that they open the email With IE ON THERE Desktop. then push the apps to there Device from play store..
In the email there is a Button at the bottom Below the app links. You must click that before you will get the links to download. That button should be above the apps..

I tested them on my father's note 3 and they worked well after changing resolution but I don't enter microsoft account

Welcome TO XDA.. Preview- pre release software and distributing it can sometimes be a Gray area. BUT With Microsoft. They frown on seeing it anywhere except on there site. This is so they can track users and User hardware its being ran on....
I Do not care about the extra thread being created. XDA mods are the ones who get upset over that at times. I was just trying to save you the hassle of MS Or xda taking your links down ..
Its all Good.. We all have to be careful when it comes to software and apps Links.
