Am I right that this phone is very good in resisting fingerprints on the screen compared to other phones. If it's a coating hopefully it lasts.
I hope so too. I love that my prints don't show up

Yes it does indeed. Even with Dynaflow liquid armor its still silky smooth and fingerprint resistant.

Absolutely, and I used mine at the beach today and it's very usable in direct sunlight as well.

How well does that liquid armor work?
One of the best features of the phone so far. I just seem to be getting bad hardware...
Agreed.

It's because Gorilla Glass 2 has an oleophobic coating on it.
Or it's some sort of demon magic...
Either way, as long as it's fingerprint free, I'm happy

Hey,
I've noticed my screen (despite having a case that flips over it) has started developing scratches somehow. Can any recommend a good screen protector?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA App
I can recommend the Case-Mate ones. They are more expensive, but they feel as smooth as the glass they protect which is important for me. The cheap ones feel plasticy and smudge too easily. They are good for practice at fitting protectors though as that can be tricky.

Go Original
I use the Original HTC Desire S screen protectors. A bit more expensive but they are very good
But the Case-Mate ones are very nice too.

It seems like everytime I put a case or skin on my phone the touch screen becomes really really glitchy and jumping. Super annoying, I have read the touch screen issue with grounding but just wanted to ask those of you who have skins on your phones experience this without any hacks to the grounding pin?
This happens on every ROM I put on...
Sense 3.0 and 3.5, Miui, and CM7.
Edit: When using the phone without a skin or case, works wonderfully.

I'm using the case-mate barely there case and dont have any issues. That seems kinda weird. What case are you using?

I'm using a vertex case right now.
Can you tell me if your phone says Made in China or Taiwan and the screen panel please?
My wife's Sensation suffers from the same thing.
Sent from my Sensation using XDA App
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you I'm at work. My phone was made in Taiwan and I'm not sure what the screen panel number is where can I find that?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda premium
It's ok bud.
To check the panel you can:
Download terminal emulator and note everything from market, then open terminal emulator and type: dmesg
Press and hold down anywhere on the screen and copy all
Then open note everything and copy the everything here
Tap menu button within note everything and look for Panel
You should see something like Panel_Auo or Panel_Sharp
Thanks man for your help

I have asian version. Made from taiwanese.
Why you dont try the solution by pull up a little bit of the grounding pin as can be seen in the u tube?
I suspected, maybe due to you always open the back cover to much could cause the grounding pin pull inside..just my 2 sen..

I've got a vertex and really like it. Its the only case I found that has cut outs for all t the holes in the rear cover, and it looks and feels really nice. I had a tpu case before it which was decent but the naztech vertex is better.

The images still look dark and pokey, and pretty flat looking, on the AT&T One X. Outdoor shots look dark too, like it's always overcast. Can anyone increase the exposure and decrease the sharpness to see if there's any improvement?
It seems that the One X camera really loves flowers haha.
Is that with a macro mode or what? the images are really sharp on clone up shots.
I just opened app and snapped the shots..no tweaking of any kind

Yikes! That's gotta be one of my worst fears... Hope you were wearing gear, and were o.k.
I have been looking everywhere for a low profile case without much luck, and was wondering if anyone has experience with the mall kiosk type skin installations? This phone's design is GORGEOUS so I am loathe to put it into a clunky case that defeats the whole purpose. Any help y'all can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I realize they have a locator, in fact there is one down the street from me, but my question is about the efficacy of said skins when installed by the staff on this particular phone model.

Yep, I think I'm going to head to the mall sometime this coming week and have them install the matte skin. It's pretty slick looking.
I don't think I have seen any reviews of detachable lens for the HTC One S. Well I was interested in getting a macro lens but wanted to know what would be best. I have a diztronic case on it so I am not sure if the lens would fit if I bought one. If anyone could help me out that would be great. thanks

No it would be a magnetic detachable lens that is detachable. You need to place a ring around the lens for it to be magnetic. But I am unsure if it would fit on the One S

There isnt one for a specific phone but it usually says like iPhone and some say it works with HTC. Anyhow I just ordered one on eBay to see how it is. If it will make a difference in image quality or not. I got the 2 in 1 macro wide lens. Hopefully I will be able to fit it with my case on
