I already went to the "[READ THIS] Got a Boot Loop? Don't post a New Thread!" and it didn't work for me.
Having a huge problem with my T-Mobile Galaxy S2. After going to the "Settings" and performing a "Factory Reset", my phone went into a boot loop and I cannot get into recovery mode by using the volume up + home + power method. I had Juggernaut ROM on the phone also.

how did you downgrade? my tmobile gs2 is also in a boot loop. just like yours.im clueless on what to do. i have the official ics update.
I had a boot loop on my galaxy s 2 .. out of nowhere didnt do anything.
It was too weird. I spent time reading lots of forums about this and saw different techniques.
What i did was i flashed back to 2.3.6. Did factory reset. then flashed back to ICS.
I think it happened because of some cache bull****. Just thought i should share.
So far every time I had this problem I had to wipe cache, dalvic and battery stats to stop having this problem.in case that doesn't work try to change firmware

hi guys. i had upgraded to xxkpe from froyo about a month ago and the phone worked flawlessly. now i upgraded to xxkph and then xxkpm. on both i face kernel panic or the phone automatically shuts down and enters in a bootloop. usually occurs while i am not actively using the phone. and this happens less on the day of the flashing and more on the next day.. and i have to usually reflash on the third day. i am sorry to create a new discussion portal here as i posted for help everywhere but no one really helped. so this is for those who are facing problems like me as i read on several fora that people are facing these problems.
PLEASE help us guys. it's really impossible to use the phone trying to restart it every 10 minutes. please help.
also, i am usually on xxkpe or xxkph (rooted using cf root).. what is the procedure to rollback to the 19003ddxxxx version of froyo. i have downloaded it but i am not sure.
please reply to this post someone as many of us need your help.
thank you.

which cf root are you using?if you're overclocked, that's the problem. try going back to the original specs kernel first before downgrading to froyo...
Hi, thanks for the reply
1) what is 'original specs kernel"?
2) I had earlier gone from stock froyo->XXKPE->DXKP9 rooted/deodexed. Then i faced random bootloops (with factory reset). So yesterday i flashed XXKPE again (twice) and did factory reset/cache wipe. Things worked fine till today afternoon - gotten 3 kernel panics recently - not used anything apart from normal phone.
Any ideas on this ? How to go back to stock froyo (im from india) from XXKPE in case i need to go to samsung customer care ?

Download XKB3, flash using pit and then files. Afterwards flash DDKB2
any idea what could cause the random bootloops/restarts ?
a lot of people are facing this issue, as ive read on this forum and elsewhere; however, i cannot believe that firmware flashing could cause hardware failure.
after flashing to xxkpe, no bootloops - got 3 kernel panics - one of which was preceded by "USB storage removed unexpectedly". I formatted USB and SD card storage and no bootloops/kernel panics so far.
Hoping to get 2/3 days w/o bootloops/kernel panics. Running out of options though. Any ideas?
EDIT: other option would be to exchange for a new nexus s/galaxy s (shopkeeper won't know of the issues )

I had earlier applied CF-ROOT (using ganeshbiyer's thread) on DXKP9 but faced issues so did a FULL reflash to XXKPE but have since been facing issues.
Once a full reflash (using 4 files) is done, the earlier CF-root/deodex related changes are wiped out, right? im currently on xxkpe but facing numerous kernel panics (preceded by USB storage unexpectedly removed) and plan to go back to stock froyo.
please advise? Also, what is 'original specs kernel' ?

original specs is stock, overclocked is not stock. since you're not saying you used an overclocked kernel, then the other things that have been suggested would be best to try to fix your issue
guys it was a manufacturing defect. got it repaired on warranty! the motherboard and the LCD were replaced.
flashed to XXKPE the day i got my phone back. no such issue. it's been 3 months!

Hi guys, I need your help!
Yesterday I updated my phone from Froyo 2.2 to Gingerbread 2.3.5 with Kies, then I rooted it trough Odin and flashed the recovery with ClockWorkMod recovery (i followed the guide, and made everything it asked to do). I completed the task succesfully. But here comes the problems:
I turned the phone on and I wanted to use Wi-Fi connection but I couldn't! It was just saying "error" and in settings the MAC address was unavaiable. I found something on the web, like trying to dial *#*#526#*#* but it didn't work too ("Driving loading unsuccessful").
So I wanted to bring the phone back to the previous state, So i unrooted it (succesfully) but now I'm stuck with this ClockWorkMod recovery and I can't find a way to restore the original Samsung i9003 recovery because i can't find it anywhere and I don't even know if I can use another Samsung's one.
I tought that maybe reinstalling Gingerbread from zero could fix this problem, but I'm not even sure of that, neither on how to reinstall it. Damn, I'm truly an Android n00b
Thanks to everyone that will spend some time helping me!
If it can help, here some infos about my phone

I'm facing the same problem as you, right now waiting for dxkp9 download and reflash with Odin.
But if you somehow manage to solve this issue please share.
Hi!
I tried and I tried and I solved it! I flashed back the stock rom of I9003 with Gingerbread trough Odin. This removed ClockWorkMod and restored the phone as it was in the beginning. Problem solved, original recovery mode and wi-fi finally works!

you shud reset the phone by entering in recovery menu.
This is why a Nandroid Backup is recommended prior to flashing anything. If you are getting bootloops it could be many things, I personally haven't owned a Sammy in a few years, but with HTC products if you are not running the right bootloader some ROMs won't boot (EX Sense based ICS ROMs require hboot 1.58). Restore your Nandroid and double check to see if you have the right bootloader/firmware running...hope this helps
*EDIT* I believe I found the right ROM (This post here?) It says its based on the latest firmware.
firmware XXKI3 Gingerbread 2.3.5

If you are on Sprint, you may be bootlooping because the ROM appears to be for the GSM variant, more details would help. If you are in fact on the GSM variant heres is a link with a GUIDE to help you flash the latest firmware
I recently bought my girlfriend a galaxy s II skyrocket. I own one myself. I updated my phone successfully and easily to jellybean through the official CM10. I am well aware of the different methods to install different custom roms to your phone. I received my girlfriend's phone with stock gingerbread. I proceeded to install the stock ice cream sandwich update to the phone through Odin. It was successful. I also installed ClockWorkMod recovery into her phone, the exact same one I had. I continued to attempt to install the same rom that I had on my phone, to my girlfriends phone, CM10. CWM said it was a successful installation after the careful 3x: Factory reset, Cache, Dalvik Cache. Upon rebooting of the phone however, the phone would fail to successfully turn on. It would stay in boot loop mode forever. One time I even left it for an hour and there it was, the boot screen I so dreadfully began to hate. I gave up on CM10, so i began to look for other prospects of a rom. I discovered slim bean. I installed it into my original phone to test it and found it to be of great quality. After I followed the exact same steps I followed to install slim bean to my original phone, to my girlfriends phone, the same result came about; boot loop. After about 20 tries, seriously, I tried to find yet another prospect of a rom. I also discovered another slimmer version of jelly bean for the Skyrocket. Even after the careful following of the steps, I encountered the same result; boot loop. I am beyond frustrated at this point at the fact that I am holding two phones exactly the same, yet when I attempt to install the rom, it only works on one of them. They are both Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrockets model numbers 1727. Both based off of At&t in the United States. One is white while the other one is black. If it makes any bit of a difference the phone I am having trouble with is white. I need help. I've tried everything with no success. I am trying to update this phone to jellybean but it does not seem to accept it, and I have no idea why

I've tried installing Official CM10.1 (from XDA) with boot loop result. I've tried installing unofficial 4.2.2 slimbean (from XDA) with boot loop result. Agree with mtdew.
Keep it as short as possible and be specific.
Get CM10 (not CM10.1 as it's still unstable) from http://get.cm/?device=skyrocket .
Also try latest CWM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1777970 .

Hi guys,
My son of 9 wanted a telephone so I bought him a LG P920 3D because I can't afford a new one now. I wanted to install CyanogenMod cm-10-20131006-NIGHTLY-p920 and gapps-jb-20121011-signed. I have done it before with my own phone (S3) and tablet (TF101) and that went just fine.
Now with my son's phone something went wrong. It's now only showing the round CyanogenMod logo which keeps spinning and nothing more.
I especially bought ClockworkMod Touch Recovery to flash it with. Please help me because my little boy is very dissapointed and he got a present, a car you can control wireless with a phone and that was the reason why I wanted to flash it. So he could play with his new toy.
I did a factory reset so I started flashing with a clean phone. Please help me!
First install ICS V30A baseband use this video (you may need to go in to the stock recovery after flashing and do a factory reset is a problem arises during flashing)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqC5qw6WRaY&feature=youtube_gdata_player
secound install WKparts bootloader and TWRP you can use a tool om this forum named simple tool can be found here everything you need is in the tool
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/p959msww1ol04s4/BUlrkRLEs7
and then load a rom on to the external SD card and flash it in TWRP or CWM touch i recomend
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2164367
if you want the newest CM although it's a bit more hassle with this 4.2.2 pacman rom as you need to delete the first line in updater script for it to work properly on ICS
@sioxz
thanks for your response but after a while I found out that I had to hold on the volume down (and not up!) + power + 3D button. I've read somewhere volume up so ofcourse nothing happened. Finally back in recovery I could flash again another rom and that went fine. But now I have another problem and that is I don't have a baseband version.
So no 3G!! What do I have to do to get a baseband?? I really have no idea, I've search everywhere but I couldn't find anything.

This what I have flashed:
Kernel-versie
3.0.21-CM+
CyanogenMod versie
10-20130908-NIGHTLY-p920
Build datum
Sun Sep 8 11:42:08 PDT 2013
Buil-nummer
cm-920-userdebug 4.1.2 JZO54K eng.
jenkins.20130908.114141 test-keys
i don't know where you can flash only the base band but the V30A haves baseband in it and it makes to that you have to flash the custom bootloader which works really good (can boot anything)
You can flash baseband with LG Flash Tool.
