Widgetlocker stops music player - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I have Galaxy S2 with Widgetlocker 2.2 installed.
It works fine expects for some music/radio players. If I set screen to turn off after 30s, then when screen turns off, music stops, as if the player could not keep one playing with a locked screen.
I uninstalled WL, the screen turns off and gets locked with the native android lockscreen but this time, music does not stop.
One more precision, this problem occurs only on players that are not multitask, I mean they have always to be on forground the work.
And problem with WidgetLocker is that it overtakes the process from the monotask player and so the player stops, wheras it does't with the classic lock screen.
Any idea on WL settings?

Sleep Timer

Hi guys,
love my Leo the longer I have it.
Just one question: has anybody been able to find a sleep timer for Leo? I always fall asleep listening to music or audio book played with the built-in (music tab) player. On my HD, I used PHM Sleep Timer, ticked the option to suspend the device after timeout, it worked like a charm. Unfortunatelly, this doesn't seem to be working on Leo. I suspect the problem is that the sleep timer switches off the screen. The HD hibernated, music stopped, but Leo can play music also with screen off..
Anybody knows about a software or utility that would be able to stop playing the music by hibernating the device? I know that there are music players with built-in sleep timers but I like the music tab player and don't want to install another player if I can avoid it.
Any suggestions welcome

Don't know a software that fits your needs yet. But how about quickly putting together a custom playlist before going to sleep? That's what I've done for quite some time even on my far "simpler" device like the N82. Want it to end playing in an hour or so? Just put in songs/audiobooktracks worth an hour and there you go.

[Q] Music player issue

After listening songs we put on pause, then lock the screen and the screen will show the player how to remove it from there? (Player)
Also, if you keep pressing back, the song/radio is still shown on the lockscreen. Any ideas?

I found this program, if it helps:

Intermittent Lock Screen Media Controls

Reposting here, I accidentally posted this under the Note II.
Running Codename Android, and as the title says, sometimes the media playback controls show up on my lock screen and sometimes they don't. I haven't been able to figure out what causes them to show up.
Apps: Google Play Music, BeyondPod
BeyondPod uses the stock controls of google play, or appears to. When playing podcasts, the lock screen controls are there about 80% of the time (so far). Is this a common issue? Is there any fix? Or alternatively, is there any free solution which puts universal media controls on the lock screen?
I have looked around and found widget locker, etc but I prefer not to use that.

Music skips to next song when i get a notification

While listening to music and working out, whenever the work out app notifies me of a milestone (such as number of miles ridden), the music app immediately skips to the next song. I have tried this with multiple music apps (Rocket Player, Samsung Music, etc) and multiple work out apps (MapMy Ride, Runtastic, etc) and it happens with all of them However, if I disable C-Locker, the problem goes away. Is there a C-Locker configuration I need to change to prevent this from happening with C-Locker enabled? I am running C-Locker Pro on a Samsung Gallery S6. Thanks.

[LineageOS] Bluetooth volume sets to zero on screen on when music is playing

Whenever I'm playing music (I tried using different music players) on a bluetooth speaker and I lock the screen, as soon as the screen turns on, the volume jumps to zero!
This also happens when I start the music, close the player (with the music playing from the notification) and when i reopen it it jumps again to zero. Another thing to note is that when turning the volume back up it doesn't go up normally, instead it ticks up and sometimes down (like +1 +1 -1 +1 +1 -1 . . .). Also this doesn't happen when ambient display turns the display on, only when I press the unlock key or touch the screen from ambient display.
I already tried disabling battery optimization from all bluetooth system apps but it didn't fix it.
LineageOS Version: 14.1-20171109-NIGHTLY-osprey. Tested with Phonograph, Pi music player, Retro Music player, LineageOS Music player
Did you try a clean flash including a /data /cache /system wipe? Often fixes those strange issues.
