Comparison of two wonderful Android PC Manager - Android General

Hi guys, as I have use two Android PC manager- Moborobo and AirDroid. I'd like to make a comparison of them.
Air Droid is extremely convenient, you just need to install an App, open your browser to start managing your Android, using WIFI connection. But to me, browser is not a safe place to manage my date like contacts. And Air Droid don't provide backup/restore service.
Moborobo has the backup/restore feature, you can save your contacts on your PC through backup/restore, it's safer to do that on your local PC than doing that on the web using services by google and other App. But instead, you need to install a client about the size of 20M. I hate this.
AirDroid has integrated the Google Play, you can search download, and install Apps on Google Play using AirDroid.
On the other hand, Moborobo provide an open platform build-in App Market, now I found PandApp.com has worked with Moborobo as a content provider. Think there will be more. But why doesn't Moborobo work with Google like Air Droid does, it will be more official!
Both of the offers WIFI connection. It seems like a trend for Android manager to have that kind of feature.
But none of them provide features that help you root your phone. Do you think it is needed?

Here is the detail comparison with pictures.

Hello people!
This is my first app! I... unpublished it for a while for bug fixes.
It was out a while ago, and after the release, I started to work on my 2nd app.
during the 2nd app development, people who don't know how to use 1-kb (didn't know it's an IME and can't find the app icon cause... there was none...) or fail to connect to Appengine, had thumbed the app down without leaving me useful debugging information...
Here's the reboot of the app -> Google Play Link (now come with a network diagnosis button!! XD)
The main purpose of this app is to exchange texts between Android and PC. Android between Android would've work too... (will make this process much easier in the next release)
I've added an app shortcut, so, there's a main activity.
the IME (soft keyboard) is still there.
and the new features are:
■ without switching IME, via notification, you can now fetch messages directly into clipboard.
■ via Android's "SHARE", user can now share texts to PC through 1-kb.
the web app version is here. Sign in using you Google Account then start typing!
Here's the Chrome extension
and the Firefox Add-On, Ctrl+Shift+O is the shortcut key.
Windows native *.exe will be there one day.
PS: There's a "Diagnose" button in the main activity. Once clicked, it tries to sign in and talk to the server, and the actions will be logged. If anything goes wrong, please click on that and send me the log, appreciated!
■ Tested Devices
 HTC Desire HD : 2.3.4 Gingerbread
 HTC Desire HD : 4.0.4 ICS
■ Tested Browsers
 Chrome 17.0
 Firefox 16
 IE 8
Best Regards, Hiro

Hello There,
I'm the developer of 1DM (formerly IDM) with more than 20 million downloads. If you are an app develpoer which provides download files option in your app I think you can benefit from integrating 1DM as a download manager in your app. 1DM supports secure downloading which prevents exposure of the download links. Apart from normal Pause/Resume 1DM also supports easy link refresh feature without exposing the download link, apart from normal download links 1DM supports m3u/m3u8/mp-dash links, it supports multiple file downloads, subtitle downloads, supports normal and custom headers etc. The integration is very simple using intents and if you have any specific feature request it will be implemented as soon as i can. If you have any questions/issues regarding integration please do let me know

Hi
On Android 1dm is it possible to configure accounts so that you don't have to enter the Username and Password each time?
Thanks
Regards
This app is fantastic, but could a PC version be available?

Unique App #2: appSelector

appSelector - Apps on Google Play
Select automatically for each mime-type or website the browser to open a URL
play.google.com
Android allows you to select a default app for specific activity. The implementation is pretty broad, and limited too depending on the OEM version of the software.
But if you want to customise this behaviour further, there is a nifty app called appSelector that allows you to choose the browser or app to use for a specific site. It allows granular control over the Default browser feature of Android.
This is also useful if the browser you use doesn't support the 'Open in App' feature:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see in the screenshot above, if I open a Play Store link in my Firefox browser, I have the option to choose whether to open that link in the corresponding Android app. Some browsers, however, don't provide this option. This app comes in handy in such cases too. Just set up the site in this app.
Next time you need to open a site in its app, simply use the share menu in the browser and choose appSelector:
The link will now automatically open in the right app/ browser that you want it to.
That's it.
You'll find more such unique apps here:

In this post, I will include some unique apps I have found that do not have competing alternatives (or let's say, I haven't found anything close enough to compete). 1. FolderSync 2. appSelector 3. Photo Tools 4. Hermit I will keep updating this...
