I was poking around xda-developers and found pilev said he lost his google play store.So I re-archived fjfalcon's cyanogenmod 9 and added the google play store.Download the attachment and put it in the update folder of your OR. Requires root!I will post the link in a comment.

If there is a bug,immediately file a report to [email protected]

You can build cm9 by yourself and fix all bugs you may find. It's opensource, so you can make it =)

If you can improve the RAM issue of this rom it'll be great. Thanks for the hardworks.

You will have to build cm9 their is nobody working on it anymore.

Market app shows up but fc every time. I've reflashed and factory reset. Did I miss out anything? Thanks!

After flashing latest 20120429 gapps for CM9 and clear cache, reboot and it works! :victory:

I do have problem with Cyanogenmod9_UNOFFICIAL_signed_mod.zip by xiurobert though:
1. browser keeps crashing to home
2. keyboard doesn't pop up at many occasions when it should

I have same experience/problem, thats why for now Im back with stock rom milestone xt720, is anybody here who has a better custom rom for milestone xt720? Ive tried a lot, but each has a problem, thanks a lot everyone:good:

Latest version of Maps

Anyone know what the latest version of maps is for our device? Only way I can think of to check would be looking in titanium backup as the market won't say. (It says 'varies between devices')
The ROM I'm on doesn't have it and I found v6.12 but it's killing my battery so I think it may be the wrong one for the S3. I'd rather not have to revert to stock just to get it so any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, sorry bout making you move it. Too early for me to think.
Would either one of you mind ripping the apk and posting it? Maps is "incompatible" with my phone according to the market.

Yea 6.14.1 is what version im on. Uninstall gmaps and reinstall it or google maps 6.14.1 and manually install. Have a cup of coffee and wake up sunshine!

I can't find a working download of it. They all either bring me to play or want me to sign up and complete surveys lol

[Q] Some APKs from Appstore

Hi guys,
I am looking for some APKs from Google Play that aren't available in Germany and that aren't compatible with my HTC Desire HD. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind and download the App from Appstore and upload me the APK. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The Apps in question are:

You can find the apk Path on the device by typing
pm path com.hti.activity
or
pm path com.gm.chevrolet.nomad.ownership
or
pm path com.gm.gmc.nomad.ownership
inside an adb shell. After that you can pull the apk with
adb pull [path]
no root required.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with that.

Thanks for the tip. However, that app only seems to unlock the region boundaries, not compatibility issues with my old phone.

yeah try to do things like that like
"angry bird.apk" on google and there, a million website that give you a link download for free.. dont be lazy to searching while there google still stand.
or you can use Market Unlocker to unlock the apps thats not available on ur country

I've done that. The first one isn't anywhere on the net, at least I didn't find it. The other ones have previously been posted here but are old versions that don't work anymore.

Dragon city android app(with tutorial how to download)

Owkay you guys just want to inform you guys who don't know that there is a android app for all dragon city lovers
It's available on the play store

for those of you facing country restrictions then follow these steps.
1.download hideninja vpn or any vpn app from Google store
2.connect to a Spain vpn (because it's primarily available in Spain)
3.go to settings>applications in your phone and select Google store. Select "force stop" and then "clear cache"
4.then go to Google play store with the above link through your phone or do a search(after accepting terms and conditions of course the message pops up as soon as you open play store after clearing cache)
5.download and enjoy!
Follow the above steps to the letter and then ask questions please only if it still doesn't work and I will try to give you a possible solution.
Ps-do NOT simply copy and paste this at your own leasure. You are free to share it but please give me some credit when you do.
[EDIT2] Canadian vpn works too! Tried and tested!

Yea doesn't work, I paid for the VPN app as well to use Spain but nothing different at all, did everything you said.
And also your Download APK Link is Private.

I already tried it, but no luck
And I think it would be great if you upload the apk.

Oh well you have logged in to your Facebook account right? If so you just have to update the app and again login to your Facebook to have the game saved just the way it was ...

There is a new update out as of the 25th. I have tried several vpn apps and none seem to work. Do you have a copy of the newest apk?

i have the same from the right site of pic
actually this is the only change log of the app i think
you just swipe your finger from left to right to show that menu
it doesn't have it anymore from the menu button
have you read the article that i gave you from the link?
it is mentioning what is it changed i think because i haven't read it

i don't know why
edit: about music category probably it requires to install google play music app
because this rom comes without it
so i think something similar happens and with others too
