I'm confused by the names being thrown around in the forums: Evita, Endeavor, One XL and so on. So is the At&t version of the One X called the Evita, Endeavor or something else? Thanks in advance!
Evita
iirc evita is the branch/model of the S4 SoC on the snapdragon One X's.
technically it's the One XL

Can anybody clarify,
"AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL" --> Does these refers to the same phone?
Im from Singapore, I plan to buy HTC one XL from Singtel,
Does that mean I can apply the modifications found in this forum to my soon to be phone?

with the exception of Radios, yes.
So on my older htc phones I s-offed them pretty easily and just recently I am ordering a one X for AT&T.
My question is: Can anybody point me to the fourm where S-OFF for the One X for AT&T is?

Please explain what is the difference between htc one xl / one x at&t / eva_utl / evita_utl
It is really confusing.
The HTC One XL and the AT&T One X are the same phone, they're both codenamed Evita.
The Evita_UTL is also the HTC One XL but it is the middle eastern variant. Software from the standard Evita seems to be compatible with this model but we're not sure about firmware, hboot etc.
I've never heard of the Eva_UTL.

Hi All,
I've been trying to perform a sim unlock on my One X (Running 3.16.61.6 software, CID ORANG001), however I keep getting an incorrect password when I input the unlock code. I'd previously unlocked the bootloader to root the device, but have since relocked the bootloader and restored a stock boot and recovery image, all to no avail. There doesn't seem to be an RRU that matches my software version available however.
If I go to the hassle of getting the phone to s-off, is there some way to then obtain sim free? This has clearly been a learning process, in the future I shall do a sim unlock *before* rooting or otherwise adjusting my phones! However my girlfriend wants my old phone now, and keeps pestering, so any help would be appreciated!
You're in the wrong forum, this is the One XL forum. You need to ask in the One X forum.

Says this at the top mate: "> AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL > One X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting >"
I know what it says. The HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita) and the HTC One X (Endeavoru) are two very different devices. You're in the wrong forum.

Really? You're gonna yell at me with red explanation marks when you haven't done your research and are clearly wrong? The HTC One X Endeavoru and the at&t One X Evita are completely different phones. Go to your own forum, and in future when someone who knows what they're talking about lets you know something, don't be so arrogant to think you know better than a veteran of the forum.

Do you have an AT&T or Rogers version One X?
No, you do not.
It says right in your screenshot you have the ENDEAVORU. This forum is for EVITA.
For ENDEAVORU, you need to post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-x
And why on earth did you create another XDA account to reply?
Thank you very much dude
I'm really so sorry
