I have a Nexus S 4g that I flash to Verizon Prepaid (Pageplus cellular) using these instructions: http://bubhutsa.blogspot.com/2011/11/nexus-s-4g-pageplus.html
What's the best / easiest way to flash it back to Sprint since the phone has to be returned? Will a factory reset do this?
Update for anyone interested:
I found a Sprint PRL, and flashed the phone back to that, along with factory resetting the device. It correctly connected to Sprint towers after this.

So I have a Telus I747M (Canadian) and I used ROM Manager to get CWM 6 on my phone. The thing is that I chose the Metro PCs version and I installed it. Now I have no signal at all. I flashed the firmware back to the stock telus one via USB and Odin. Still no service, anything to do now?
If all else fails, reprovision your SIM. There are multiple threads on it so a quick search will hook you up. Just know this, it will erase your phone!
I've read on another thread that to use hsdpa 1700 on an AT&T phone that you need to flash the baseband/radio from a Tmobile model. I've done something similar to this on the Note 3. Would I need to flash the whole firmware, seperate the radio from bootloader?
The reason I need to do this is because I am on Wind and the network isnt lte.
Tried flashing Tmobile modem. Stuck on AT&T logo now. Will restore stock when I find a computer without restrictions. I flashed with a modded CWM and there was no option to wipe cache. Multiple factory resets have not fixed it. Really loathing living in Canada right now.
This would prove almost impossible without a recovery.
How did/are you trying to install this?

There's a locked bootloader CWM somewhere. It was made for the Verizon model but worked on my AT&T. Backup and flashing was successful but clearing cache was not and unfortunately since it is locked bootloader it is one time use.
Hello, just upgraded from a Galaxy S4 on T-Mobile to an unlocked Verizon HTC One M8 handset. Popped in the sim, I can send and receive text, data on HSPA/3G mode but not one LTE or Global mode (anyone know why this is? I'd like to be able to use t-mobiles LTE and not just HSPA/3G), get the usual "sim unknown source" stuff. I am wanting to flash Skydragon.
My question, is there anything special I need to do before/after I flash these, since I'm using a different network than what the handset was originally supposed to be on? Maybe I need to flash different radio? This is my first time using an unlocked phone, previously all my phones with custom ROMs were on the same network as the handset variant.
Otherwise, would I just update to the latest 5.0.1 OTA update from Verizon, root/unlock bootloader, install TWRP, then flash Skydragon, and I'm all good?
Edit: Well, further reading seems to indicate to me that it turns out verizon M8 devices already updated to 5.0.x are still not able to be rooted at this time?
Thanks for the help
Hi,
I recently brought over my SM-G920A from ATT to T-mobile. I cannot get the ATT phone to recognize the existence of the Signal Booster--which works great on T-Moble phones--so I cannot connect to it. I have been a few rounds with others here that have walked me through the attempt to flash this phone with T-Mobile baseband load and it simply will not work. The phone is unlocked and is using the following load:
baseband G920AUCS7ERC1
BUILD NRD90M G920AUCS7ERC1
I have dev mode unlocked and have no idea what to set those settings at or what they were originally, I attempted to flash SM-GO-G920T onto it but it will not take because there is no current bootloader that can overwrite the ATT version.
So, I'm about to go back and flash the old software back on here.
But, I would really like to see if anyone has any ideas that can help me either get this phone to recognize the T-Mobile 4G-LTE signal booster or help me figure out how to get this phone to accept the SM-G920A load all together.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for your time. Please help.
Thanks and have a great day!
I have a Galaxy S20+ 5G. I just switched from Sprint to Verizon. I have service under Verizon, and can call and text. However, when factory reset, my phone acts as if it is still a sprint device. I tried flashing stock verizon firmware with no success via ODIN with firmware from Sammobile. Help is appreciated.
An Factory Reset turns a phone to the state in which it was delivered.
You can try to edit Android's system file named build.prop as follows
Code:
ro.carrier=Verizon
what requires phone's Android is rooted.
