When I try to download apps it says it was unsuccessful. Regardless of whether it is wi-fi or 3g. First time I've had this problem. Any suggestions?

Try clearing your cache and deleting the .android_secure folder on your sdcard. Might also use a file manager like EStrong's to go into your download folder and delete any download-file.apk files and then reboot, that usually works for me.
Thanks for the info. I tried it but it's still not working. Any other ideas?

Is it possible you deleted the Google Talk app, without downloads never complete.
No, its still there. I already pursued that avenue. I'm totally stumped this one.

It's the Market's cache. A lot of Android users had this problem. Clear the Market's cache, reboot and you're all fine.

So you got a signature error?
if you have your titanium backup backups on the external sdcard, you have to tell titanium backup where they are...
I figured the tibu, the stock file manager sucks,i tried astro and was able to inst all apk one by one, got r.explorer back and installed astro. Yea I'm getting the 3e message even though I did the mod / fix and it said it worked

Does anyone know why you used a lame thread title? We constantly remind people to use the search function, but thread titles like this one make finding relevant threads in a search very difficult. Please use more descriptive thread titles in the future.
Going to ultimate unbrick and run stock for a week. Anyone know an easy way to load their installed apps again?

Titanium backup.
App Backup & Restore does an excellent job of saving all non-protected apps and will restore them. It save apps as .apk files.
Hi, before you claim re-post I have searched all over the forums for this but haven't found any to fit my situation. Right now, I have a myTouch Q from Tmobile and when I rooted my phone a while back, I installed titanium backup to backup all my system apps before I uninstalled the unnecessary ones. I want to unroot my phone now, but before I do I wanted to restore all my system apps (browser, music, calculator...I used things like dolphin, songbird, and realcalc). When I try to individually restore the backups it just spins endlessly attempting to restore the app. I have tried checking/unchecking USB debugging mode. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
Go to Preference-->App Processing mode
And change it there is three modes choose the best

Happened to me once....when you restore an app...it keeps on loading....
What i did was...
choose restore...it will load... . Then when you feel restore should be done, depends upon the size even.....press home button...the app should be restored...to restore another app force stop titanium backup from applications....Hope it works for you

I am trying to stop the update before it installs. I tried the posting from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249350 and it still did not stop it. If I can't stop it, does it give me the option not to install once it downloads?
Using Titanium Backup, freeze the system app "sdm 1.0" OR if you use a file manager, just rename that system app to "sdm 1.0.bak" The OTA downloads in /Cache so make sure you delete it from there. Also, checking for a software update will cause Settings to crash and this is normal behavior.

Thank you SlimScoopsOS. Last night out of desperation I cut the red wire and it stopped the download. Just kidding. I did rename that file and it worked. So far, so good.
