There is NO support for this!!!
These are my personal Nightly builds straight from AOKP's GitHub. No changes, additions, or tweaks. It is a bash script (with a little python) that Builds a few devices and uploads them to my public google drive. This script has been running for a few weeks now and I've been letting a few friends download and use them, but i decided to post them up here so that the crackflashers can have something to play with in between the official builds
They WILL be full of bugs and non-working/broken features! DO NOT SUBMIT ANY BUG REPORTS, I WILL BE PROVIDING NO SUPPORT! I am in no way connected to AOKP! Do not submit bug reports, do not pm them saying something is broken, do not post in the aokp forum or thread saying something is not working, dont get mad if a feature is missing/broken. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
The builds are all made at 1AM each morning and incorporate the changes that have been merged to the GitHub from the day before. (Note: the script deletes everything in the folder before it makes the builds, so from 1-2AM Eastern they may not be available.)
Link to download folder
This is mainly for personal use, so sometimes there may be more than one build of each device, or they all may be missing/broken/fubar'd while i screw with it.
Last note: please do not link directly to the Google Drive. if you want to share this, link to this post!
EDIT: I am not a dev, please don't donate to me for this, donate to AOKP devs or the Cyanogenmod team.
Was wondering what took u so long!! Thanks

this is not my flash-and-forget thing that i was going to do a while ago. That got put on hold for a while (probably a long while). Life changes, and ive got a lot less time to give to things like this.
Ohh I wasn't getting impatient. Was just wondering. And of course life changes, it's life. Wasn't expecting u to make a rom in an hour with a busy life.

Ok quick question before I flash, will this work with old baseband? Or does it work with v21y baseband?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
assume it is the same as stock build 37-38 of AOKP, except it has newer changes that have been pushed to the github.
i havent used my g2x in a while so i dont know much about the new baseband shenanigans
Glad to see you are dev'n can't wait for the flash and forget ROM. Take your time, you do this for free.

Hi Everyone,
I've noticed a lack of nightlies available for the Samasung Galaxy S2 LTE (rogers: SGH-I727r) / Skyrocket(AT&T: SGH-I727) for us flashaholics to get the latest and greatest from the guys down at CyanogenMod. So, I've decided I'll be running nightly builds with merged fixes (official ones, my own and anything anyone else wants to contribute) for everyone to share.
OK, I now realize the above is wrong. More accurately I will say a lack of developers helping to iron out the bugs and merge new things. So I'm contributing by building nightlies and developing fixes and hopefully others will contribute as well. The more the merrier right?
Download nightlies here
I am running these nightlies as my daily driver and so far everything is running very stable.
Working:
-too many to say, just look at what is not working
Known Issues:
-Bluetooth audio out of the box, read fix below.
-USB mass storage out of the box (see fix below)
-Occasional SODs (Sleep of Death a.k.a. doesn't wake up after locking screen)
Bluetooth fix:
This is confirmed to be working by myself. Connect to bluetooth audio device and make a call. If audio is still coming out of your phone then while still on the call, disable bluetooth and then re-enable it. Once it reconnects the audio should now be coming out of the bluetooth device and will continue working no matter how many times you reboot, shut off your bluetooth device(car) etc...
Click the link below to download an app to easily switch from MTP USB mode to USB mass storage mode
USB fix
Contribute:
If people could post their bugs up here, that would really help since I don't use every single feature of Android so some people may experience different issues than others.
When posting bugs, please post what other things you have installed that could potentially be relevant. Also, say what you were doing when said bug occurred.
If it is not on the known issues list, it is worth mentioning. If it is on the known issues list, post anyway! Maybe your post will lead to a fix.
Installation:
-you must have either TWRP or Clockwork mod recovery on your phone, I use TWRP but I'm sure CWM will work as well.
-from recovery, make a backup of your current set up in case these nightlies aren't for you.
-wipe cache, dalvik cache, /system and factory reset 3 times each (there have been weird reports of remnants of files after single wipes)
-flash the nightly of your choice
-flash Google apps if desired. I usually do this after the first boot just in case there are any issues so that debug is easier.
-reboot device and let sit for a few minutes to allow the system to initialise for the first time
-LTE and APNs are net set correctly after boot so you will have to go into system settings->More...->Mobile Networks and set Network Mode to LTE / GSM / WCDMA and select the appropriate Access Point Name as well. I know for Roger in Canada it should be ltemobile.apn
-enjoy your rom!
Upgrading from another one of "my" ROMs:
-download new nightly to your phone
-reboot into recovery
-no need to do any wipes unless you are experiencing difficulties
-flash new nightly from SD card
-boot for the first time. If some things aren't working, reboot and see if it fixes things. Sometimes after an upgrade I have no cell service until I reboot.
Note: It is possible that certain updates may break things as they are nightlies, not stable releases. Flash at your own risk, I do not take responsibility for anything that may go wrong, but I will try to help.
A special thanks to the CyanogenMod team and s8terwitskil

You are right, however, apparently things like camera are broken(unles they've been fixed). I haven't tried them to be honest but it can't hurt to have someone else building and making fixes, right? Plus it looks like he has a flashable bluetooth fix which will most likely work with my builds. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks

Oh there is nothing wrong with someone else building and developing for sure. I'm just saying that there was another thread. Once you can post URLs, you might drop your build server URL in the unofficial nightly thread. Like you said, never hurts to have more people working towards solving problems.

The camera has been working for weeks. The only thing right now that is a known issue is the irregular SOD's. I haven't experienced them to the level that some people have, but I have gotten them occasionally. Other than that, it's rock solid, at least in terms of what I use the phone for. Sure, there are little bugs here and there, but there is nothing that is a showstopper. It's been my daily pretty much since Alpha1 was released.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what stage those builds were at or what modifications were merged. Hopefully we can all contribute to making a solid ROM!

actually you will be making it more confusing for the noobs by having 2 unoffical cm 10 threads where both devs are building from the same source. there is less confusion unifying the threads & builds.
op i suggest you look at the BMP rookie thread in dev section and share your builds there.

They are built daily from bone stock CM10/TeamChopsticks sources, the only modification currently is the BT in-call audio fix, until it gets committed to trunk. I leave all the customization/modification of ROMS to people who know what they are doing. For anyone who wants pure CM10, use my builds (or yours assuming they are untouched), for anything else, look elsewhere.
@quikt
Definitely something to consider however I am too new and I am not permitted to post in the dev section.
Also, if we are merging different fixes, then we are not building identical ROMs which then makes my builds relevant (I hope). For noobs, they are presented a choice. Both RPR and I try to present as many details as we can to allow them to make an educated choice. Although you may be right. I'm not a noob with this sort of thing so I don't know if its confusing, I'm just trying to help.
I honestly didn't expect this much criticism contributing to an open source community...

not sure how you plan on merging fixes, but if u merge like the rest of the CM devs, the gents here are still going to be building off the same code hence the same builds.
u are getting flak because we have a cm10 unofficial thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871261
K maybe merge isn't the right word. I mean compile my own fixes and submit merge requests to the cm stream. So basically changes will be made here before they are uploaded to the cm repos.

Dude, keep your thread and start pumping them out.
Forget about noobs, they aren't the reason the forum was made and you don't have an obligation to any of it.
Your thread is justified because it isn't the same as rpr and that's all that matters. If people have a problem, they won't download your work and if noobs are confused with choice, they can go back to their trusted old source.
Looking forward to checking out your work. Hopefully you don't waste any more time on this useless discussion.

Bro keep your head up and build your ROMs. Honestly don't know where the criticism is coming from but lots of devs pull from source and make their own fixes to AOSP code. You're good to go and I look forward to seeing your work.

Looking forward to your build.
CyanogenMod 10 is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
This is an alpha release, but you should find it stable for everyday use.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This is an alpha, with most critical functionality working.
TeamDS is working on porting Jellybean to the HTC Doubleshot (CM10 in specific). We have a reasonably well working Alpha we would like to share with the community for testing. Feedback is appreciated. If a timely response is not found here, we can be located on Freenode in #teamds.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Unlock/root your device and install Clockwork Recovery via ROM Manager.
2. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. WIPE Data/Cache** (You can try to NOT WIPE, it works for me, but recommended wipe).
4. Install the ROM
5. Optionally install the Google Apps
HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
- Was your problem a hard reboot? Get us the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
- Was your problem a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get the full output.
- Pastebin links preferred.
- Join #TeamDS on Freenode to talk to us directly.

Thank you to EVERYONE involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging and documenting! Enjoy!
Alpha name explanation.
"Alpha 3" has all the features of Alpha 2 (kernel/device), but the camera works. Also, the vendor blobs have been reduced and some replaced for optimal performance.
"Alpha 2" was the rebased 'common' kernel, rebased device trees. It provided a 3.0.53 kernel. The camera locking was broken.
"Alpha 1" was with a "KANG" kernel that ultimately was not very clean and had a lot of issues to resolve. It was also older (3.0.36 compared to 3.0.53).
----- CHANGES -----
Build 20130101 -- Alpha 3
Changes:
- Kernel rebase found in Alpha 2
- Fixes to the camera preventing the locking issue. Camera should be solid again!
- Contains functional Alt/Shift key LEDS, working www./.com button
- Restructured 'blobs' files, such as mpdecision and htcbatt.
(I have found improved battery statistics and usability with the blob changes.)
Happy New Year!
Bugs
* Chrome and Panorama Camera PREVIEW continues to be a little glitchy graphically, I have been told this is a common MSM8660 issue. They both still work, but it's annoying visually.
* Please report your results, and if you can capture /proc/last_kmsg when it happens, it would be hugely appreciated!
Historical
Build 20121222 -- Alpha 2
Changes:
This build has a somewhat new kernel base, as it's from a more up to date AOSP source which tbalden used when he ported our v2.6 kernel to v3.0 earlier in the year. It is a work in progress, but complete enough to warrant a release and more testing.
Build 20121121 -- Second public alpha (V 1.01)
- Upstream CM10 changes. No other large changes of note from previous 20121103 build pertaining to Doubleshot.
Build 20121121 (Alpha 1):
- Jellybeans!!1
- Updated kernel base to v3.0.48.
- Updated keylayout. NEEDS MORE WORK.
Please note flashing someone else's kernel may ruin your experience with this rom and I advise against it. This rom was a joint effort between kornyone & tbalden. A LOT of core works for msm8660 was put in by many CM Team members, and much of our work is based on their: toastcfh, Kali-, Kmobs, Bumblebee, cretin45, and all of the rest of CM!
A personal shoutout (THANKS!) is due to these individuals for their dedication to the HTC Doubleshot:
Stefan Seidel, Pál Zoltán Illés, and thanks to scverhagen of Github for keeping the kernel maintained!
THANKS to intervillium/intervigil for keeping the common HTC MSM8660 AOSP kernel up to date so many of our HTC MSM8660 phones are based on now in the Open Source community!

So THAT'S where you've been hiding...
Downloading now.
I never left. I won't be abandoning the Doubleshot anytime soon, even though I have a new daily (Samsung Galaxy Relay 4g) -- because my wife bought a brand new Doubleshot from T-Mobile just before they canceled them about 4 months ago.
I made no noticeable updates in months (about two) due to training for my new gig, which required 6 weeks on site in San Antonio (I live in Austin). Life has been a roller coaster. I also have hacked a few other devices, and I have too many projects now.
I drew a sadface in how the CM ROM thread splintered and fragmented on XDA. I guess I never made a post about CM9 Stable 9.1.0, which was released to http://get.cm (look for Doubleshot). That was 8/29. Also, just this week, I got Doubleshot in the lunch menu for Jenkins auto builds for CM9, so weekly CM9 builds for the Doubleshot are officially official.
Still, I am (almost always) in #teamds on Freenode. Also #cyanogenmod, #cyanogenmod-dev, etc.
Thanks for the support all. I have been hacking the Doubleshot since September last year. I ported CM7 to it, then CM9, and now CM10. tbalden was a monster and really helped us a lot with our v3 kernel most roms are using now.

This is great news. I'll submit fixes for CM9 via gerrit review and encourage everyone to download the nightly builds instead.
I will continue to maintain a kernel for the doubleshot.
Thanks for the hard work!
some bugs
So I just flashed this (full wipe, data, cache, dalvik), and I can confirm some weird stuff with the panorama shot. There's a lot of flickering in panorama mode and while capturing a panoramic shot, but the picture turns out fine (normal pictures seem to look even better than in CM9.1 though.) The main reason I can't keep this ROM right now though is because the ALT key doesn't work in browser fields. It works in the address bar and in apps on the phone (searching contacts, text message fields, etc.), but not on text fields in the browser such as on Google, Youtube, or typing in passwords, so I can't access the secondary functions of the keys. Other than that, it seems very stable. Did not experience a reboot/boot loop, or force close. Wifi and BT tethering seems to be working fine for the brief period I tested it. But I think I'm gonna stick CM9.1 for now.
edit: also, no face unlock? not an issue for me, but I think some people like to have/prefer it.
edit again: the ALT key does work but you have to hold it while typing out your secondary characters. so no two press to lock it in "ALT mode"
The only problem with the hardware keyboard I found on this ROM is the www/com button not working, but I'm used to this one from the CM9 alpha builds. I haven't tested out the camera yet, even though this is the camera I use.
I was thinking of switching to an iphone, but this rom is giving new life to my phone. Thanks!

dsp manager seems to be fixed here! thanks for all the hard work kornyone and the rest of teamds!
this is so smooth! and as some people said above, caps/alt is working fine, www/com button acts like a space bar.
can we use ics (especially scverhagen's) kernels with this?
and i know this is probably jumping the gun a bit, but since bruce2728 over on the sensation xda page just fixed 1080p (and many other small bugs the sensation experienced, and therefore we probably will do), is it potentially possible to fix it on ours down the line? not asking for it be actually fixed right now, just seeing if its possible...
thanks again for all the great work!

If you know any mods or higher ups that can get you guys up and running, I suggest you do so. They have active development going on and they BADLY need a forum
Glad to see the fresh work :good:

Nice! They need some support! Alot of 'em are our fellow subforum members (G2/MT4GS) and deserve their own forum. I would have gotten one myself if I wasn't so spoiled by our awesome camera and prettier housing. The Note 2 will probably be my next one when I can get some spare cash. Although, I have to admit.... I am still digging our DS and enjoying having CM9 so stable thanks to kornyone, scverhagen, and others. Makes sense to move on to CM10 once resources were available and am dying to see if project butter makes a true impact as far as performance goes on our device. Will have to check this puppy out shortly!
Awesome! Finally get to try Jelly Bean! Gonna flash in the morning
Wow that's some great news! Thanks. Definitely flashing tonight.
This is perfect timing since I was just about to wipe my rom and reinstall it. I've been sitting on the side lines reading about all the love that JB users received. I may finally get to experience the same, after all.
Um I'll update all this later as im doing it mobile lol

Edit: Didn't read OP correctly lol
The ROM is working fine so far other than WiFi... I also problem with device settings, but you know that already.
Erik, I wanted to say thanks (already hit the button lol). You never gave up on this phone and now we are on par (in terms of updates) with many popular phones out there. Sure its great to develop on a popular device like the S3, but it is even greater to develop on a phone that is so old and archaic now. I really think that we need more devs like you, people who don't give up on the forgotten. You did what nobody thought could. Not only did you give us a daily driver for Jelly Bean, but now you give us Android 4.2.1... You are the best!

Do you see other download links in the posts? If there was mirrors, they would listed. This is hosted by one of our members on his own webserver for free just to help out and this was just released, so everyone is downloading at the same time. Don't be so impatient to run a alpha ROM where half the stuff doesn't work and you can't use as a daily phone ROM.
eeeit... Erickmm congratulations you always forward takes this device, why not buy a smsung s2 hercules are in offers, you will be well received...lol

I will say this once and once only. It seems that since Erik is doing roms for other devices as well and is "VERY" popular, this I know cause I looked at the stats on my site which all his files are hosted on, the download speeds are getting bogged down. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to fix this. I have made a suggestion to Erik to host on other sites as well, mainly goo and mediafire, and use my site as a mirror. Maybe if there are more mirrors, then it won't get bogged down as much. So, I'll just leave it at that and for now, you'll just have to deal with the slow speeds until Erik decides what to do. Just to give you an idea of what's going on here, I'm gonna show you the stats just for this month alone.
Code:

About 95-99% of that is Erik's stuff. So, I'll leave it up to Erik on what he wants to do. He is more than welcome to continue using my site to host his files. With all that said, I'm sorry, but it just seems my site's host just can't handle Erik's popularity.
I'm a nub. What exactly does bln borked mean?
If only wifi, gps, and call worked... I would love this phone again. I'm hating this phone so badly lol

BLN means Backlight Notification. It turns your capacitive buttons into LED notifications. You need an app to control these features.
Seems like 4.2 is really a monster for battery (not a placbo but the truth) on this phone, just 30 minutes and 20% gone (on my second charge)

Idk man, I used it for a day and found it hard to notice any difference.
I flashed it yesterday and tested a few things (maybe half an hours worth). My battery was fully charged. Fell asleep. When I woke up the battery was dead. I don't know how long it lasted, but with no use it shouldn't have died that quickly.

Maybe you have some mediaserver action running?
Got any corrupt music files?
I think this is big problem about battery.
WiFi stays on searching for networks
You can test after turn off WIFI.
What do you think?
Re: [4.2.1]CyanogenMod 10.1 v1[UNOFFICIAL][BETA]
Second time this is a Dev thread I regret opening tbh this rom isn't a DD yet plus its a beta build only released so you guy can play with it that's it .
Its not ready to be used daily and without logs it'll never get there.

Re: [4.2.1]CyanogenMod 10.1 v1[UNOFFICIAL][BETA]
Erickmmm... PM
Enviado...
OK people. I'm posting this with Erik's permission. Since I've already played with CM 10.1 on my tab, I know a little of what's to be expected and how some of the things work. With that said, here's something to keep in mind...
READ ME:
# CM 10.1 is based on Android 4.2.1. Any and all proprietary applications that you have installed outside of CM should be updated to their 4.2.1 counterparts. Do not use the 4.1 versions of proprietary applications, else you will experience difficulties.
# Do not use the CyanogenMod Updater to go from 10.0 to 10.1. While you will have a functional rom, due to the 1st bullet point, you will be left without your proprietary applications and their data. We highly suggest performing the initial install manually via recovery (flashing CM and your addons). Once you are on 10.1, you can use the CM Updater as per normal. For us SGS4G users, since we don't have nightlies yet, the updater is totally useless. Do not even attempt to try and use it.
# You do not need to wipe when updating to 10.1 if coming from an earlier CM version. However, as we mentioned in the weekend's PSA, users updating (instead of wiping) will experience a conflict in the application data for the Clock app. You are advised to clear this apps data on first boot of 10.1.
# Another item to note is that the support for the 10.0 feature that allowed for an expanded number of targets on the pattern lockscreen is not in 10.1. If you use this lockscreen, disable it before updating from 10.0.
# Finally, we always advise that you create a backup before any update. Do note, however, that due to Android 4.2 changes to support multi-user mode, your backups will automatically be transferred to /sdcard/0/[backup folder]. Remember this when attempting to restore 10.0. Credit to post from CyanogenMOD team (G+ https://plus.google.com/+CyanogenMod/posts/9X561GFMxL5)
Now with that said, the only way we will get this to be a daily driver is to HELP the devs by providing logs of what's going wrong. Without logs, the devs can't fix things. Once we get things ironed out and get the major things working properly, then maybe we can submit to the CM Team for our device for nightlies. Until then, if you want to help get this moving, then quit complaining and provide logs. Otherwise, Erik won't support this project at all and may request this thread to be closed or worse, deleted. So, come on guys, let's try to get this project rolling. I for one would love to see our device get some 4.2.1 love.

Now hating to derail thread, but is there a good primer out there or forum post on the best way to get logs or a suggestion on what to submit, what to filter out, how to filter, etc. There a zillion "log" apps. Is one better than the other? I don't mind testing, but I admit, I get lost sometimes in the "post a log" thing and sometimes the log is so long, I'd hate for a dev to have to sift through tons of crap just to find the 1 line that is the key, so anything that can be suggested on what to submit, etc, would be helpful, for me at least and maybe some others.

I am not sure how to get logs... I went to the terminal emulator or what ever and typed in "logcat" then copied this. I am not sure if this is what you need or not. Please help me help you? Also when you get a text, the quick actions bellow the message preview are cut off.
If anyone would like to test a source built CarbonROM PM me and I'll send you a link. Everything that I use seems to work but I don't use all the features in the phone (like bluetooth, HDMI, etc). It uses altered's kernel from CM11.
I suppose I probably should have used a few more words...
I was originally working on Omni but have curbed that one until I can get it to boot properly. Omni has proven tricky for reasons I have not figured out yet (although Uzayr gave me some ideas to try so I'll probably return to that one when I get time). I didn't want to give up on building a ROM so I gave Carbon a shot. At the time I started there was no recent Carbon ROM for our phone so it sounded like a good idea. I built it and was testing it when A2EPT released their port. So I contacted them and we decided to host this ROM along with the port.
Like I said before, everything is working for me. I've ran it on System 3 and am currently running it on System 1. Battery life seems on par with everything else (I suppose it should). I always have worse battery life than what a lot of people report but I think it's due to my battery. It's nice and smooth and has been trouble free. It has a ton of features like active display (my favorite), configurable progress bars, toast animations, listview styles (so when you scroll you can make it display in a fancy way, like Mokee).
I should also give thanks to Altered for his guidance, the guy is basically a saint. Hopefully he's having fun not thinking about Android for a while!
give me the link. ... I'll test it...
Message sent, thanks!

I'm a little slow getting this out because I started running to build errors since the last repo sync. I think Carbon is in the middle of updating to 4.4.3. I'll give-er a few days and try it again...
What did I miss here?

Whoa, another builder is among us haha!:highfive: Thanks very much dm for building the Carbon from source, you saved my team the trouble of doing that, though you need to get into contact with @Uzayr sometime in the near future.
It's true that since March, the DU, Beergang and Omni roms haven't been booting with the MO4 device repo for some reason, we don't know. Now that we know you're building roms, we can let you know what's going on behind the scenes in case you haven't been checking out the dev section a lot lately. More on that later, but for now you're contribution is definitely adding more to our growing KK rom list, much appreciated!

No problem! I started into this just to see if I could do it, and to learn a little. After got Carbon working I touched base with Uzayr and atrix2man about it since they had the Carbon port. We'll sort something out once I get it to build again. It appears that the Carbon team is in the process of moving to 4.4.3. Hopefully it will still build once they are done! If not it might be more delay...
