Since CM9 is becoming more and more stable I thought it'd be nice to have a thread dedicated to the MODs that will work with our Notes (N-7000.)
I'll do my best to maintain this thread with anything that anyone finds. So please, post it here or PM it to me and I'll update the thread.
Obviously - I take no credit for building, creating, coming up with or even thinking about these things. I will credit each author as best I can and I IMPLORE you to hit THEIR thanks button BEFORE you hit mine. This is a full on customizable status bar replacement for CM9. The author claims it will work on ANY device that runs CM9. I am currently using it and loving it. You can change a few of the icons (with more to come) as well as any and every color on the bar. What I wasn't aware of is that this also controls the nav bar colors. You might be saying "But... We have no nav bar!" See below

Matius44 has put together two Soft Key Mods that allow for the softkeys at the bottom of the screen.
He has provided two different versions - the one pictured is the 3/4's original size and I have made the background black and added the settings menu using ICS Reloaded.

Well considering matius built this mod for the 1st build of cm9 (or was it the 2nd?) ,then this build isn't that old .
Besides my internet is too slow for me to update it every day , maybe I'll update to build 8 when it becomes available ,but for now build 3 rocks ,very smooth and stable for me (no FCs or SODs yet).

I didn't intend any offense, I actually really appreciate the feedback. I also really recommend build 7, as the theme engine was implemented and makes this thread worthwhile

ReloadedICS allows for full customization of the nav bar. You can't remove the home button, but you can move and reallocate the others.

No no no no you've got me wrong ,I didn't take any offence in what you said ,on the contrary
But like I said the soft keys mod was designed for the first build of cm9 ,and since build 3 broke compatibility ,then something needs to be fixed .
Or maybe I should have given it more time?I gave up after 5 mins on the boot animation and restored my backup.
Anyone with a newer build managed to make it work?
Oh and by the way when I downloaded the files they were only named cm9 without an extension
I renamed them to cm9.zip and flashed them ,could there be something wrong with the file ? (Unlikely sine I could open and extract the zip archive)

I'm running build 7 with the soft mod keys no problem. ReloadedICS allows full customization as well. It's awesome.

The holo purple theme was grand, majestic and swagtacular on my Note but I was worried about firing those blue pixels for purple. Anyway, Holo Orange dropped and it's tingly cool yet warm - I recommend it!

it should be working with both achotjan and wolfs roms now.
i have removed the calendar as it has issues, and i haven't had time to mod the lock screens. But i am working on a major release (v2) and hope to have it done this week. i'll post some screenies of it soon
Well this is my theme, if you can call it a theme, more a mod than a theme, i'm trying to make everything in the phone transparent so that the backgroud comes through. so if you have a cool live wallpaper that you love, or a pic that looks sweet you can see it where ever you are in the deep dark depths of your phone,

1 - Using recovery make a full backup of your phone (Optional but RECOMENDED)

First, make your contacts.apk based on the one you find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1076647 They don't have that white bat above the dialer, which reduces the "transparent feeling". And second, after you've done that, could you please make a xRevory of just the contacts.apk and post it on that topic? I'm trying to gather all possible dialers and put them on only one topic, because what if a person likes your dialer, but doesn't want nothing else different?

On many roms you can change this, if you have cyanogen mod settings
Adding to that, for a custom battery icon, you can always use the UOT kitchen to cook that up.
@OP: when you scroll down the notifications, the background of the date part is kind of darkened. Would you mind looking into that please?

In the rare case that you come across the 160 char text limit (only 1 report to date), click HERE to download and then flash uclb3 modem to fix the issue. ROM has been tested with both modems prior to release with no known issues. Credit goes to diablo009's post from here.

Great rom!
I've been running it for awhile now and I can say it's rock solid.
If your leery of the yellow don't be. It's good on the eyes ( especially old one's like mine. ) I'm a blue or green themed type but the yellow has got me hooked.
Some nice little pluses as well, you just have to look......
I do believe we have another dev......whoop!

INSTRUCTION
YOU MUST BE ON ICS TO FLASH THIS
Download the ROM zip file to your SD card
Reboot to CWM/TWRP
Do a factory reset
Format /system
Flash the ROM using CWM/TWRP
(Optional) Flash gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip if you want the Market plus other Google apps...
Reboot to the ROM
Let it sit for 10 mins
If you previously had IMEI/EFS problems, flash back to stock with my Heimdall OneClick, then Heimdall OneClick either AntonX's or Hampsterblade's kernel with CWM, then flash CM9 from there.
Flashing from 3.0.2.8 recovery does not work. Make sure the version of your recovery is 5.0.2.x (x being 7 or 8).

We hope you'll understand, and keep watching this thread, the PCB Mini-site, and its RSS feed for future updates!

It looks like GPS doesn't work. GPS apps seem to think that GPS is off even though it is actually on

Dao im still building from source so hopefully one remicks fixes the repo and fb will help me with the libcrypto problem which he got it for thomas so yeah
I LOVE THIS ROM!!!! I love the theme!! So tech-y! Lol. And finally someone that actually themed the pattern lock as well! Awesome job!!
For me build 2 would only boot into recovery. I checked the MD5 and did a factory reset but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to boot correctly. I am staying on AOKP until I can figure it out or until the next build comes out

I have combined it with Wanam Xposed, I now nearly got rid of all the Samsung green (not my favorite colour)

I have been playing a bit more with the theme and loving it.
I have 2 request:
I made this earlier but I would love to see the bottom 3 icons on the cal screen themed. My suggestion would be to all make them grey/white or all the blue tint like the most right icon is now.
If possible theme the rings on the the pattern lockscreen to match
the rest of the theme.

1st of all thank you SKYDRAGON for a wonderful rom.....love it
This theme is compatible with latest 4.2.5 rom, you will have to reflash lyapota mod again after this theme.....
Did not like Stock notification background colors and few other colors specially or Dialer....
I changed few colors here and there and updated GoogleDialer, Contacts, Calculator and Systemui at the moment.
Next target is Settings....just wait and watch // don't worry i am gonna keep it simple

which GPE are you using ? i have noticed memory leak on every GPE i used,
sometimes the screen turns to landscape when i unlock the phone and it stays there for few seconds ...
i have also noticed few others posted the same thing
and idea or fix about this ? that will drag me back to GPE

thank god atleast some people are liking my theme
sorry no offense but i don't like too many modifications which some do with their themes.....
android lollipop's stock theme is already minimal and classy looking
we don't need too many modifications
and i think it looks way better than sense now
so my aim is to keep it classy with few modifications with colors so it looks nice on my phone
some dark combinations gives more contrast and keeps the classy look
