Hi,
I just noticed that "CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC 6.1" ROM Thread is not found in the Development section. Is it deleted? If yes, why?
and also, could someone please give access to all the links in that thread?
Would really like to see the next version of that ROM. Sadly, the thread itself is invisible all of a sudden.

It must be because of the trolls here that made the dev mad..then again, we lost a worthy dev..AGAIN..all we have left are sire prat, maclaw, vish(if he's still around), raj, sonud, and feras..this guys shook this thread..it was once a peaceful and troll free thread..until wanna be's came and annoyed them.. sighh....

Nops, I don't think... CyanMobile is the edited version of the thread. There where are the earlier Version of ROM's?
And as far as I remember, RC 6.0 was released somewhere around 25th April, while the CyanMobile one is last edited on 8th April.
That thread is missing.

You people haven't been here long enough...
So here is the stuff that I know...
First, squadzone develops rom (cm 7.2) and other things for mini, and gives fit users their first (and still used) oc kernel...
Fit users request him to develop more for fit, but he couldn't since he didn't own the device...
But the devices were so damn similar, that we could easily port mini's stuff...
And when squad had released cm7.2 for mini, we only had vishwanathptl's cm7.1...
So people started porting squad's work...
We got (ported) rc 1, 2, 3, 4 (ported by different people)...all ported as and when they were released...
But squad wasn't happy that we port his roms...
Then ankkdroid ported rc 5.x (all the later releases), to which squad objected publicly...but they settled the matter privately...
But after long growing requests, and seeing how similar the devices are, and to stop further ports once and for all, he agreed to develop for fit also, and hence released cyanmobile initial a (for both mini and fit)...but he got fed up from some people (or whatever his reason was), mod-locked all his threads, and left xda...
The next update of cyanmobile (I.e. revo a) didn't come on xda, and maybe it won't ever...
I stopped following ankkdroid's thread when it was around the release of rc 5.6 (I assume), and couldn't flashed any of his work hence...so I don't really know whether rc6.x is an edited version of cyanmobile...
I cannot pass judgement, nor do I have the authority to do it...
And even you can't...
Phew this was long...anyways, this is what I know so far...but it may not be complete...
Hope this clears some air, and let this topic rest for once and forever...

First of all tell me how much time did it take for you to type these stuffs.. ??
When 7.2.0 released everyone posted in his thread that it was cyanmobile .. so he removed the download link and then posted that "if someone wants his rom then PM him and he will give link for it as he became bit angry with the offence created by other members" (i remember this stuff)

Developed rom huh? Maybe more like a borrowed then skinned ROM. Or a ported one. I double dare you. Amaze the CRAP out of me. If ever you amaze me by your ROM, you've earned it.

and btw if u think porting is so easy then why dont u port one rather than posting non sense in the thread ..
I have tested both of the roms cyanmobile initial A and cyanogen 7.2 rc 6.1...and both of them were almost similar except for there were some changes in the ui of the settings menu in the rc 6.1(correct me if i am wrong)...i found bugs in the notification dropdown of both the roms so i could not continue with any of them.

IMHO this might be a "sham" from tinker...the build.prop says nothing about 1.9.23...It says it was made on Sept 2 and build # is 1.9.9.............HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......... Nothing I have seen/looked through says ANYTHING ABOUT 1.9.23.

WHy use a build that almost 2 weeks old? when you can use trips whos is UP TO DATE?? Anyone who uses MIUI KNOWS that each week they update with bug fixes.....Have fun dealing with 2 week old bugs that have been fixed already...This build does not even have the OFFICIAL qHD launcher that trips does..This IS an OLD build GUYS!! from the 9th of this months....ONE OF the first MIUI releases on our phones...this has NOT been updated since the 9th! At least according to the build.prop and system files. If its not 1.9.23...DONT PUT IT IN THE TITLE OP!

Sure he used his build prop from then the libs and apks in the rom are from 1.9.23

thanks. at least for me, on trips latest v8.... bt streaming works great, just no avrcp.
on miui site I can't see Sensation on HTC list.... and change log also...... am I supposed to flash this? Wisely?

Haven't got images made yet but if you look in the sensation forum its there!
Also tinkersham's computer is just about fixed so he will fix the rest of his bugs soon.
we all know about the great developer "squadzone" . He has released an update for his CyanMobile Initial A and it's called "CyanMobile RevoA"..It is based on 2.3.7 with many updates (I don't know much about the changelog,once you flash the ROM the changelog will pop up on your screen)....So..lets move to the topic! ...

Its a pure build by squadzone for Galaxy Fit!..U can go to MadTeam Forums in order to check the details!...I didn't asked for permissions, cause I'm not copying his work or porting some of his work!...If I wanted I could have posted it in Development section but its totally illegal and illmannered!...So..just enjoy!..Hats off to squadzone!

The developer did not give any permission to port and post without his permit... and u must appreciate it...

Second, the idea behind our group is basically taking "two heads are better than one" and applying it to a larger group of people to create something unique, to fill in blanks left by only one person working on that theme, rom, boot animation, or etc. Finally, having the backing of Team Innov8 means a better outcome for you. Any work you OP will be referenced or recommended by other members of the group, hence more people will view your work.

A:One of the standards of Team Innov8 is to have an active community. So, if you plan to join 'fo sho' and not contribute anything, well then think again. You must in some way contribute, either in the discussions or in the creation of a new project.

We're a couple college students in engineering that'd like to start doing some development for devices, atm we simply have a theme for the US versions of the S3 called "CityScapeS3" using the VRTheme system and Morphology for the S3's if you've heard of it. We want to get much more technical (smali coding, inventing new mods/features, full ROMs created from scratch without the help of a rom building tool, custom kernels, etc.) for whatever devices we can, mostly devices with Qualcomm chipsets because that's what we have in the US. We believe the best way to do this is to get help from real people and hopefully also help those same members out when they're stuck, and this is why we are looking for additional team members. Right now we're definitely nothing big, but I'm ambitious to change that!

i have flash the dn3 rom...its awesome but there is one prob. the lock screen function accept swipe lock does work...any solution for that plz suggest...its is showing on lock screen option but try to apply it it wont work...it work as an... none lock ....reply plz

best nuga rom no bugs
Can you guys compare this to something more uhh, popular? I guess is the word. Is it a heavily modded AOSP ROM? Like AICP? I'm on the dreaded BrokenOS right now and it is incredibly stable, but it's 6.0. I would jump to Nougat if it was similar. Can someone give a quick review of it? Features, lag issues, any camera issues, does the notification light work properly? Things like that. Thank you.

In the amount of time you wait for someone to spoon feed you your required information, you could have downloaded it, installed and be running it and find out how this works for you.
I have no idea why so many people are so afraid to try something for themselves. If this be the case then flashing is not for you... or is it just most of you have become that lazy.
Sorry for the rant but this need most people here on XDA to be handed everything and not do for yourselves has gotten out of hand.

Maybe because I flashed 5 ROMs in the last week...clean flashes, and I wanted to avoid setting up another ROM that I never heard of, with no change log or feature list, or bug reports that I could find. For example, ambient display is not working, deal breaker for me. Thanks to those who were constructive in this thread so far. Carry on.

I have flashed 5 roms in a day... if it has become too much for you or you do not know about methods where you can flash a rom and restore all you data in a matter of minutes, you are not doing it right. Then again, maybe flashing it not for you.

You're really not helping anyone by portraying this ridiculous elitist attitude to someone trying to innocently get info about an unknown piece of software. Some of us actually need everything to work on their phones instead of being a first adopter. Get off your high horse and stop derailing what was actually turning into an informational thread.
That's the last I have to say about any of this.
Not sure how OP can say this ROM is bug free. I remember trying it when it was first uploaded and it has plenty of bugs. Such as gallery causing the phone to freeze and reboot. I'm sure the aux port isn't working correctly either, etc.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely stick with AICP for now. I've been rolling with the nightlies on that ROM for 10 days or so and every day seems to make progress.

It's not the real iOS and if you really want to have iOS then go buy an iPhone or an iPad
You could try to install those iOS Apps like the iLauncher
and iNoty and Lockscreen etc. and then make an Flashable Zip.
(Also try to convert the iOS Apps to System app)

At first, I'm sorry that nothing (Like an Alpha Build) has come out yet. I'm a bit Busy with School in the Weeks (For example We are Writing Tests and Class Exams.)
