The link for the ROM is posted above, download that. Extract that, the password is linked to the post.
-Download ODIN Multidownloader 4.43. Link: http://www.google.fi/url?sa=t&rct=j...n4WHBA&usg=AFQjCNEnkhKjmSRxlKLFcVNdXh8nnFxU1A
-After it has downloaded, extract it anywhere u want (i suggest desktop, easier)
-RUN ODIN.
-Power off your phone.
-Put your phone into downloading mode. Hold together: Power+Volume Down+Home (phone boots to Downloading mode)
-Connect your phone to PC via USB cable.
-Wait for the drivers to install. After that, in ODIN, one of the top line "bars" should turn yellow and some text should appear there.
-Download the AriesVE.ops file and check it as OPS. Then check one package from the top left. Link to download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=770410&d=1320332631
-The ROM you've downloaded, check it as one package. Then click flash.
-Flashing will take about 9 minutes.
-Enjoy!
Thank`s dude .. I just hitted your thank`s button
Wich part must load, because when I extracted the firmware I founded 2 files:
SMD_CSC_GT-I9001-MULTI-CSC-OXAKF1_EMMC.smd 539MB
and
SMD_I9001XXKF8_I9001XXKF8_CL310526_REV00_user_low_ ship_EMMC.smd 50MB
Or I don`t extract and loar the archive ?
Thanks
Edit: It was the larger file. Thanks all.

Because there is no official update for your region or carrier. Just use odin to update
And when will be I will be able to update ... ?

All the ROMs in this forum are stock roms from different carriers.
Edit: except Cranium RC3
Just read the guide. There's damn step by step instructions.
But I want it original from Kies ... understand ?
then connect ur device with kies and wait for an update

The ROMs here are similar to those updated via Kies. Maybe some applications can be different. I mean it can take quite long to get a regional update. If you're worried about your warranty, just take a backup of your current system.
Witch driver should i download to install that one ? Ive tried but it says i dont have it even if i point it on LG folder...
I hope your problem will be solved by installing this driver OMAP4430.

The problems is, i cant do anything with the phone, feels like its brick, the only thing i can go is to "CWM", nothing else, so im tryin to connect my phone to the computer so it can find it and flash the phone with LGFlashTool
Unfortunately, "CWM" Only Samsung phones that are root is applicable, not applicable LG phones!!
Apart from installing flash the boot loader ROM,can update ROM your phone by the program "KDZ" to "B2CAppSetup" applications.
good luck...

Hi. Please could somebody help me. I have a UK model from orange. It's now unlocked but has orange bloatware. I have searched the forums for a debrand method but only found one, and that only works with win xp.
Is there any way to unbrand this phone with windows 7. Orange did not support this phone and it's still stuck on android 2.2.2.
Thanks in advance

Have you tried updating your phone through EMERGENCY mode in LGFlashTool? Maybe you'll get stock ICS / JB because the branded ones are not made by LG?

Wow, i had no idea ? Who made them ?
How do i go about the process ? To be honest, i'm quite nervous about doing it. I've unbranded a number of phones in the past but this a tad more complicated.
I really appreciate that you have continued to be of help. Thankyou !

Could you try this?
I've done it a few times myself, with succes, and I think this is the way I've managed it.
*This asumes you've installed
Follow this on the official LG site: http://www.lg.com/uk/support-mobile/lg-LGP920 , and go to the tab "software update".
But instead of just updating your phone do this: Click on User/Support (above) then emergency mode, insert your IMEI and click on check
?
It didn't work i'm afraid. What's really odd is that the phone is on froyo 2.2.2 and the OTA update from the phone says there's no update available. Yet the lg update tool tells me an update is available yet after it has downloaded and about to 'install' it stops and says that the update cannot continue because a 'fatal error' has occured ?
Very odd. I'm guessing the orange bloatware is the problem. I HATE orange !
Edit. Ok, i just installed all the flashing tools to my pc (win 7) But when i open flash tool a window appears saying 'lg usb/parallel key is not detected. i'm also asked for a password and id ?

I downloaded everything but there was no crack included for the flashtool and no .dll file to enter into the flashtool ? it certainly looks incomplete so did not help at all.
Do i really have to keep entering an image verification everytime i need to reply on my own thread ? Seems so daft.
If it is rooted you can delete almost anything you want.

I don't quite follow ? I don't need to delete anything. I'm trying to flash the phone to an updated version of android. I have a UK orange branded p920 3D but it's on froyo 2.2.2 and won't update any further.

Funnily enough i tried your method first. The flashtool kept asking for an id and password so i could not continue. Where do i find the id and password ? that was with flashtool 1.1 running on win 7
Copy the indicated file over the original as instructed or use 1.2 if you want. You also have to run the installer before using it...It might be a good idea to run it in xp sp3 compatibility mode.
dll
The link for downloading the p920 .dll file is broken. Is it available anywhere else ?
Thanks for telling me, I'll repost it...
In the mean time you could try this. It's not my link, though

Hey, link is working. Dev Host must have been down for service.
U should first delete imei if the carrier is locked

Thanks drastic00. I've downloaded the link :good:
not working
I've now tried all methods and nothing works. The furthest i have got so is to hit the yellow start button on the flash tool, but the port does not become ready. I have followed all instructions to the letter.
Recheck step 1 details carefully. Be sure antivirus and Defender are off when downloading and decompressing. It won't start until drivers are installed correctly.
You should see the devices in device manager with no 'blinking' of the omap device, and LG CDMA USB SERIAL, on which you change the port number to 41. Then you are ready to flash.
That part is fiddly.

Please provide details of your phone model and what exactly you did to land up in this situation. Otherwise it is difficult to help.
You flashed the wrong supersu.. You need 2.71 not 2.45
1. Fastboot stock firmware here and fastboot TWRP again.
2. Use the version of superSU that does work with marshmallow here
3. And done!

Hi in any case please follow the procedure given elsewhere or as per post #9 in the thread you will open by clicking the link below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/help/tried-to-root-moto-g-2015-indian-t3353727
This is a bit of an involved but simple procedure provided you read it carefully and follow what is mentioned therein correctly.
This procedure should ensure that your phone is up and about with Factory Firm Ware (meaning how your phone was when you first powered it on when you purchased it). You can try the rooting process after that. Select the firmware you want based on your mobile model to avoid further complications.
Go through the steps involved carefully or you stand a chance of making your phone a literal paperweight on your table. All this caution to ensure that you are careful . Have a cool head and you shall see the light at the end of the tunnel.:good:
Hope you find this useful.

Look again on that window (it's also in the screenshot),
there clearly is a 5.11 firmware (in the right frame of the app).
Took me also quite some time until I discovered it in the past - I thought I was stuck with only the latest firmware

5.11 is just the update code, it is the latest Android 6.0.1, you can install all regions but default one is much more compatible.
Just download and flash, do not forget to select ALL WIPE options. You have to wipe for downgrade.
