I am hoping some one can help me with this issue i having pertaining to the tmobile security page that pops up while attempting to acsess the internet on my gsm gt-p1000. However, it only happends while on data network, when im on wifi it doesnt pop up. I know theres a way to do it through root explorer but thats where i get stuck. Theres so many things in there that i dont want to touch cause i dont want to turn my tablet into an expensive paper wieght. Pleaseeeee can some one turn into mighty mouse and save the day... I should have said that im looking to delete this security page completely, i think it had to do with the efs through the app root explorer. Can some one please helpppp. Thanks in advance..

First post, hi everyone!
In a bit of trouble with my XDA orbit. Im waiting to sell it, but i cant get rid of my contacts. I've taken the SIM out, but all my contacts still show on the phone and wont give me an option to delete. Ive tried downloading some programs on the net that get rid but to no effect.
All my contacts still show, with a little image of what looks like a sim card next to them - but my sim isnt in it!?
Really confused now. Please help!

Well, if I remember correctly the sim contacts are shown even without sim. A good thing before selling the phone would be to hard reset it, which will return the phone to the state it was innitially (and delete all the programs and user settings).
Hello, recently I bought a Google g1 phone (used)... It was working perfectly until i tried to access wifi, it began to tell me wifi is unable to enable. So I began to read some threads online and one thread said that the wifi may begin to start working if you are to restart the phone from its factory defaults... SO I did and it was probably the most idiotic decision in my life because now it is asking me to enter in my account info for my Google account, oh and I forgot to mention... I am NOT in the United States, meaning I dont have any form of a data plan and am using a prepaid sim card, so I can't bypass this dreadful login screen . I am been looking through these forums and have found a link leading to a thread where it explains how you can bypass the registration page BUT there is one problem, my phone is not an RC29 model nor a modded RC30 but a LEGIT RC30! I've tried using the <enter>reboot<enter> command and it is not rebooting . So i am thinking I am going to have to find some way of flashing back to an RC29 but I have no clue as where to begin :'(... I really want to get this issue resolved, it is driving me crazy and i've only had this phone for 1 day! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, please just tell me how to flash this phone back to RC29 and that would be amazing!
what about rooting your G1 and porting super d rom. it will help bypass the sign in problem

ok well see the problem is I have no idea of how to do any of that... I have even tried connecting the phone to my pc and nothing is coming up on the screen about mounting the phone to my computer! Is this normal? Anyways, so what do you mean by rooting my g1; if i cant access the g1 through my computer can i get into the micro simcard directly (as in use a microsd adapter and connect it via usb) and install the terminal or what ever is used to flash the g1 back to RC29... If so that method would work wonders! Please reply with an answer... and again THANK YOU SO MUCH for your time!
You can customize the APN settings before logging in to Google. Just hit the menu key on the screen where you login (I think, it's been a while). You will need your APN info for your prepaid carrier though.

I have loaded an android os to my htc touch pro 2 but cant seem to save an apn
the list is blank and i cant save new ones so cant connect to a mobile network

call ur phone company and have them troubleshoot it and if that fails have them send u a brand new one for free. Or get a free upgrade by saying u dont want that phone anymore and that u've had too many problems with it. Works for me everytime.
So before I start, I just want to say that I can't do a factory restore because at the moment in in India studying and getting another unlock code would take too long and isn't advisable I think. also, one night my inspire was charging and the whole night the air conditioner was dripping water on the screen..all night, so I'm pretty sure the digitizer is broken because the startup goes fine and the screen still works but when it come to unlocking the screen I can't..the phone doesn't reasons to any of my touch. Luckily my sister wanted an infuse, got that and I just got her phone the inspire. However here is where the gmail problem plays. In short I want to get all my stuff from old inspire to nrw.
Anyway I've read threads that claim that changing the gmail account is possible, I've tried everything before finally downloading root explorer. For some reason market is having a hard time connecting but that might just be for the moment,hopefully. Anyway I downloaded rootexplorer through Megaupload online, still works ap its all good I presume.
Anyway, after downloading I read that I must go through data to system then find accounts.db of which I must delete it and then reboot order for gmail to ask for email again.
Unfortunately, everytime I go to the root I go under data..nothing is there. I search up accounts.db and it searches and searches but stops or idles at say/class/msm_vidc_enc/msm_vidc_enc. Question is why can't I fins it? What now

couldn't you just log out of the current Gmail account in the accounts and sync menu, then log in with the desired account?

The only problem I would think then is not being able to unsync the original and replacing that with my gmail acc ap it could hopefully get all stuff I've lost from my broken digitizer phone.
Sorry couldn't fins the edit button.... anyway I tried the logging out thobg like you suffered however it didn't work out..can't really fins a way to do it. Also says the sync OS having problematic ap it is temporarily down. Root explorer still searching through thw msm vidc file..but isn't frozen because the searching wheel is still going found and round.

The hack kit carrier unlocks your device so no need for an unlock code. Best bet is to either factory reset and or since you've done the hack kit flash a new rom.

It lets you access everything on your phone and let's you delete or customize any file that you want something you cannot do on other file explorers

I'm in desperate need of help. My son was killed in hit and run a few weeks ago. He had a LG C800, also known as the T-Mobile USA MyTouch LG-C800. I'm trying to get access the phone but I can't get pass the locked screen to retrieve any data off the phone. The phone is damaged but it still works. (I'm able to put in numbers and etc) Is there a way by pass lock screen without whipping out the phone data. There is information on the SD card. But I'm look I would like to see who he was talking to at time of the death or ealier. There is a Google Account set up which I can access, but I don't see this option after trying to access the phone.
I have installed Screen Lock Bypass Pro (By THOMAS CANNON). This didnt work I'm not sure if its even installed (Play store claims it is)
