ps3 controller? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hey guys just picked up my one x and was curious to know if it would work with a ps3 controller without root. the Asus transform prime does with ics. can anyone with both the one x and a ps3 controller care to check? Much appreciated

i purchased sixaxis. it's a no go till root...

So now that we can root, does it work?

To play games... preferably using an MHL adapter to connect it to a TV or other large(r) display.

you might be able to do it with something like tablet remote. But I have no idea if it will work for sure.

MHL does not work on the Blaze unfortunately. Tested it on my wife's phone and it's a no-go, though it might be possible.

Thanks guys do you think and RCA cable would work?

I don't think so. Looks like a sound cord. But you could try.
There are other ways to stream video and music to your tv. PlayStation, XBox, and various bluray players will pick up media server applications you can run on your phone.

It should work... well, that's what I use for Samsung Vibrant that I had.
Just go to Settings<Sounds and Display(or Display)<TV Out <---Now that was for Samsung Vibrant and Captivate. Might work for Blaze if it supports RCA
I'm getting my Blaze soon..maybe in 3 days? It was free on T-Mobile for awhile..

That's what I was thinking, because on my old vibrant, the RCA cables worked.

My Motorola usb otg cable only seems to work with my old xoom and not my xperia z/nexus 7 or my wife's htc one mini. I should have a new cable by the weekend and will update this thread.

Generic OTG cable from Amazon works fine on my Galaxy S2, Nexus 7 and HTC One Mini....
Yes otg works fine, I confirmed that a while ago, yesterday I tested mhl and that does not work
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
FYI..USB OTG is supported in the kernel, but there is no sii USB controller so there is no mhl adapter -> HDMI out support. There *should* be wireless display in much much later builds of m4 on CM (it would be a last feature to work on kinda thing.

[Q] Miracast Stick

I'm looking for a cheap Android stick with support for Miracast. I'll mainly use it for streaming emulators and webpages. Is there one with less than 50-60ms delay?

How did these work out?

Using ps3 controller on gs4

So I bought the usb adapter cable to pair my controller and I bought the mhl2.0 cable to link to my tv. So with that said I haven't read anything on here about using your gs4 as a game console like the ouya. Anyone else using this set up and have any suggestions what Games I can run and programs to use? Just pre researching while I wait for my cables to arrive

Any and all emulators or games compatible with using a gamepad. Dead trigger is one I know of that supports it and its an awesome game too. I have it on my phone and my shield. There is also an app called six axis that allows you to pair your ps3 pad with your gs4 via bluetooth. It costs 2 bucks but its worth it.
Hit thanks if I helped you out. Doing a little bit of reading goes a long way. Sent via tapatalk.
