1 thing that I have noticed with my HTC one x is that the play store shows not only apps I purchased under "my apps", but everything free I've downloaded in the past year as well. While sometimes conveinient, I still haven't found a way to filter to show JUST the ones I've purchased. Any insight?

This is an AT&T thing I believe. I never had that until I purchased the Note from AT&T and began noticing that.
not an att thing. It has been in the gapps for cyanogenmod/aosp roms for quite a whille. I first noticed it around the same time google renamed the market playstore.

This also applies to the browser-based Google Play store. It will show everything you ever downloaded.
It was actually in one of the Play Store updates that they added that!

i just got my one x yesterday, and i am getting use to it. but this morning i found an issue that i hope can be fixed easily by changing a setting or something. i was using Pocket Cast app to listen to a podcast and after about 15 mins it just stopped. i went to play it again, and it remembered where i first started and not where it stopped. it actually did this twice this morning. please tell me there is a setting, tho i could not find it. thanks, and i look forward to falling in love with this phone.
Ok, my Rhapsody app did the same thing.. so I called and complained , I was told that a lot of the apps don't play very well with our phone yet... And updates are surely coming for a lot of apps

From what i have been reading it sounds like the HOX is killing off apps in the background due to aggressive memory management. Hopefully HTC will fix this issue as it makes the multitasking even worse than the iPhone.

Are you on the 1.73.5022 or 1.82.502 ROM? I updated with the RUU here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1649658 and cant replicate the issue using Pocket Cast app from Google Play. Did you get Pocket Cast from the Amazon app store or Google Play? Pocket Cast pulled their App from Amazon so it is not up to date Version 2.8.1 on Amazon and 3.9 on Google Play.
I was using multiple apps for 30 mins and was unable to have it stop while it was in the background. Let me know how you got it to stop and I will try and see if I can replicate it.

I got it from amazon a while ago...crap i am on 2.8.1. Can i get the google play one? thats my next move. fwiw, i listened to it all day yesterday and it did not cut out anymore. the multi tasking issues showed up on trying to use MOG app, but not on google play while streaming. i could stream music on play, and surf web at same time. not the case for MOG. So MOG is gone.
Has any one had problems with the amazon ap store sense the latest update? I can no longer use amazon. Can not install any updates or reinstall the amazon ap store ap after following all of amazons instructions. Im stock TB so its not a root issue. I know its not an amazon issue as my wifi moto zoom 4.0 has no problems with installing any of amazon aps or updates. Just wondering. Seems like last update blocked amazon installs.

Do you have too many devices linked to the account? Every time you flash a ROM and reinstall Amazon App Store, it creates a new device. It's under "Your Account" then "Digital Content" then "Your Apps and Devices" Might have to delete some of those old ones.
Thank you i will check that

Thanks for the info tried it and still nothing works. Can download the ap but it wont install. Never had this problem before the last verizon update and all works well on wifi only zoom 4.0 so I am leaning to a glitch in that update. Cant use the games I downloaded from Amazon now with out the ap installed. Bummer.

I have found that Hulu will not work on a rooted device. I have it on y Xoom and had to return it to stock for it to work. I have not returned my phone to stock to get it working on it. I have not found a modded apk to work correctly on a rooted device. I believe I have tried the one listed in teh earlier post with little success...maybe i need to try it again.
It doesn't appear in Google Play, if I check the web version of play store it says its not compatible with my phone (Vodafone UK HTC Desire S).
Is this Vodafone, Revio or Google blocking it ? I'm pretty sure it will work fine from what I've seen online where it works on lower end phones ok

Installing fine for me on my Vodafone UK Desire S from the play store
Sent from my Desire S using xda app-developers app
Got it fine on O2 UK.

Its still not available on Vodafone UK in play store app or via web. Via web I sign in, find app but it says its not compatible with my device. Same on my friends custom rom unbranded Desire S.
How can other people be getting it officially ?
Are you using a custom Rom, if you are, check your build.prop file /system/build.prop, there may be a entry in there that's the issue

those of you who couldn't download star wars from play store as it shows "incompatible", consider upgrade to 4.1 or higher. At least that worked for me.
was using CM7.2 and couldn't download it. No i'm on CM10. downloads and works fine.
I had problems downloading some apps from the google play when i was using gingerbread. Im now using a miui jellybean rom and i can download the same apps i couldnt before.
So if your one of the many people unable to watch Hulu due to a error saying you must be on carriers latest update then I have a solution. Simply use a app to access root then go to data/data/com.Hulu.plus/app_sslcache and delete play.Hulu.com.
Edit: when you start up a video I've noticed it may say unable to load advertisement from our sponsors nothing to worry about just let the timer for the unplayable commercial run down which is Like 20 secs and video should play but if not just change the quality of the video to medium and let buffer then change back to high and your golden

DRM copyright protection he's basically saying his phone told him to f off

I haven't experienced this

I assume my DRM problem is cuz boot loader is unlocked. Idk really know fer sure
Sent from my One X
Yeah. I couldn't watch Hulu till I deleted that file. It's because of the unlocked bootloader.
Sent from my HTC One XL
I deleted and still gave me DRM warning. Should I reboot after ?
Sent from my One X
I didn't reboot. That's strange cause all I did was delete that file and started up Hulu and it worked fine. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling and trying again
Sent from my HTC One XL
I tried that too. No luck

Does not work. Galaxy Note (AT&T) running 4.2.2 Rom. Jan 2012 hacked APK appears to work...but boy does it look sad/old compared to the most up to date Hulu Plus APK.
