[Q] New problems with SoD, random reboots, and boot loops on rooted 9.2.1.21 - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've never had any issues with sleeps of death, random rebooting, or boot loops or anything of the sort before. I've always been on the stock ROM, rooted with CWM recovery.
Though ever since upgrading to 9.2.1.21 (using this CWM flashable zip), every time I fold my TF away on the dock, I open the lid and it's either stuck in a boot loop, frozen on the boot menu, or just dead where I have to hold the power button down for 5 seconds to force reboot it. I'm not sure if this is caused by it being on the dock, I haven't tried keeping it off and un-docked, but this is really irritating.
Like I said, I've never had any problems like this before. Why now? Is anyone else having any issues like this? I really hope I'm not the only one.

Boot loop?

Hey guys, I could really use some help right now. I think my Sensation just went into a boot loop. I've never had it happen to me before, but I was using the XDA app on my phone when all of a sudden the phone went to the CoreDroid boot animation. The animation plays for about 10 seconds, freezes, and then plays again, over and over. I've tried holding down the power button, which doesn't do anything, and I also tried to boot into recovery to no avail as well. I looked up how to to fix a boot loop on an Android phone but it seems like most sites say the first step is to boot the phone into recovery (and like I said, I can't do that). Do I have to pull the battery? I don't want to do that until someone says it's the right step to take because I'm worried that could seriously screw it up.
I'm on CoreDroid 2.4 and on faux's 0.1.2 1.56 GHz NoHz kernel btw. I could really use the help because I'm leaving tonight on a vacation.
OK, update, I ended up pulling the battery, putting it back in, booting into recovery, and rebooting the phone, and it actually worked! You can sure bet that I'm doing TB to back up all my apps/data right now and I might even do a nandroid even though I have a nandroid of CoreDroid 2.3 and a couple others. And boy is boot looping a battery hog! I had 98% right before it began, and after only like 10-15 minutes of boot looping it was at 66% lol (phone got extremely hot too).
Now I'm just curious if this happened because of the kernel or if it might be due to the beta battery monitor widget that I had just installed (I'm not sure if beta apps can cause problems).
Each phone and set up is different. Sounds like a kernel issue. I have read that if your phone reacts in the way described, you should just revert to stock kernel that can be found on coredroid's fixes post.
I have gotten bootloops with one of faux's kernels, I think it was the nohtz 1.7. Now on the JRCU 1.5 with coredroid 2.4.
If you are concerned with bootloops, besides the battery pull, which I personally like to avoid, I just plug it in the usb port and do a adb reboot recovery command from your cmd window. I recommend just reverting to the stock kernel for now until you are comfortable in troubleshooting away from a comp. And remember to always have a nandroid to revert to in case of any emergencies.

[Q] Freezing then reboots

Its fixed. It seems that it was stuck and just needed that extra kick with another ROM. Not really sure what the hell happened but its working fine now.
Please delete post.
Yesterday I plugged the HOS into my laptop and it started to act a little weird. It wouldn't show the SDcard but it allowed me to open it. I copied a new ROM to it and installed it. Since I did this, the phone will not work. Once it boots, it just freezes and reboots when I try and do anything. The nand allows me to boot and scroll through the home screens, but if I try and do anything else it freezes and reboots. I can't install any other ROM that's not sense base like AOKP or MIUI as they just boot loop. I can get to recovery and the boot loader no problem.
Update: I can boot a stock nand and get into the app drawer. But, once I click on an app or pull down the notification bar it freezes.
Update 2: Was able to get the cyan alpha to install after a good 5 minutes of bootloops and it runs perfect. WTF is going on here?? haha
Can anyone give me any suggestions to try? Thanks for any help that you can provide me.

[Q] Reboot --> Hangs up on boot screen?

Hello all!
Just got my One +1 today and I have an odd problem with it. Whenever I try to reboot it or reboot to install an update, it hangs up at the One +1 boot screen. I have to shut the phone down for a few minutes before it will start up again and it won't install updates to CM. So far I've tried going into Fastboot (hangs up at CM logo), factory reset (hangs up at One +1 logo), and even just plain reboot (One +1) logo.
It seems to work fine otherwise and I can power off and power back on again, but this is more than annoying. Has anyone encountered this before and have any wisdom to share so I can get past this?
Well, it seems to have fixed itself somehow.. Not exactly sure what went right, but there is hope if anyone else has the same problem.

[Q] Random freeze and random reboots

I have a Motorola Droid Mini (XT1030) which I have rooted using CrashXXL's method. But my phone has been randomly rebooting at all various times. Not it has also started to get frozen, even a hard reboot does not seem to help at times.
I have tried to boot in the safe mode and it looks okay. but I have not tried using safe mode for long. But the phone was giving me random reboots even after the first boot after rooting, without any app installed.
Also, I tried flashing just the stock ROM, without root, and still I would get reboots randomly. Any ideas about how to track the problem or solve it?
I am sort of a noob in this department, but I can follow instructions very well.
Thanks in advance!

Samsung Galaxy Indulge stuck in boot loop

I got ahold of an old phone and it was working fine until I attempted to connect it to my PC. It wouldn't even react, and my roommate (who gave it to me) took out the battery, which then caused this endless bootloop. If it's on the charger, it keeps blinking the battery (which looks empty and has the spinning circle in it), and if it's off, it just keeps blinking the Samsung logo. I can boot it into recovery and wipe (because it doesn't bootloop there for some reason), and it will boot into Android (sometimes) and then immediately bootloop all over again. I have attempted to Odin a stock ROM to it but it doesn't stay in downloader mode long enough. It just bootloops again. I can't even root this damned thing. Help!
Solved it. Don't know why, but it did NOT like the SD card I put in it. Would only work in recovery. Finally rooted and flashed Basix. Yay!
Maybe there is a hardware problem i.e. your phone's power button has stuck from inside (not the plastic button but the inside buuton).Try fixing that.

And how am I supposed to do that?
Great, I'm back where I started. A bootlooping paperweight. Now I can't even get it to boot into recovery. ****ing piece of ****.
