Here is the smali source for the Unlock screen that you may find on the Galaxy Tab 7.7 and on the droid charge
it was located in the Android.policy.jar framework file
You can incorporate it into your rom.

One would have to have the framework.jar, framework_res.apk, and the android.policy.jar to successfully port a lock screen over to another device. And bringing a lock screen from a tablet is more than likely going to be a little bit tougher as you will be dealing with different resolution devices, which would probably mean redoing images and layout xmls.
Your heart might be on the right place, but I don't think this will be something that is going to be ported to our device...unless you got some tricks up your sleeve that you have not been showing.

The circle lockscreen is in jkay mod and on the note. Don't think it will be that difficult due to its already been done several times on many devices.. ill look into it. Good job bro

This is the framework and the twframework needed. Just replace both on your phone and restart. There are a lil quirks but this is as far as my knowledge takes me.

Thats one of the problems you need to fix. This is my limits.
Planning on doing this right after I flash frost. I just wish there was a way to fix the time and make it show instead of having it black as the post above stated.

You can. Just have to do a bit of editing inside the framework. remember that ur going from white to black and the fix is pretty easy. Same as with the menu. Hit me up on gtalk. [email protected]. I am usually free here and there to answer questions to the best of my ability.

We all know you could, but of course you wouldnt do it ha. I would get into developing, but right now i just dont have the time. My mom is also not too estatic about it; even though it could help me out later with aeronatical engeenering somehow. Also having a better phone to develop with *cough captivate cough* would be a lot easier, the infuse has little in common with other phones. Wish whoever wants to try this out the best though.

Exactly... Just going to point out ics is just not the best place to start, maybe try building a ginger rom first or a few to get the hang of it. Itll prob take years, something im going to wait a few years to pick up on.

shall do my friend! Have had it for about 6-7 hours now and I love it. Display is fantastic (despite the digitizer haha) but phone won't make a sound or vibrate when text is received.. vibration and sound work everywhere else though. Even as I type. Rom wise I'm on eagles blood ics aosp right now and works fantastic. Came from cm9 though. Like eagles blood. How do you wipe the internal SD, without a computer, if possible?

Vibration might just be because of an app u downloaded. Some apps take control over that like some music apps and mms apps, Or you have to enable it in the messaging app settings. Also I'm no expert but can't u just delete everything with a file explorer? I just wiped everything recently so I can try again.
Edit: I think the internal SD is under mnt, emmc, so u can delete everything with a file manager. Someone nor knowledgeable should help you out with that. Btw, if u wanna see this phone fly, run Hellfire Phoenix

Yeah it is weird, on stock roms it recognizes the internal as the SD card.

Honestly probably not; and I think it's a gimmick at the moment. A phone entirely controlled by gestures? Sounds great in theory, but not great in practice

I use a gesture based OS on my blackberry playbook daily. It is incredibly smooth when done correctly. If Ubuntu does it correctly, then I wouldn't mind having it ported. If it's done badly, then it just wouldn't be worth it.

Working on porting it now actually if git servers ever decide to sync.
I hope it's easy to do. I love android but I've always wanted to try a different operating system. Not gonna make it permanent but it'd be cool to use sometimes. Anyone know if you can back it up with recovery and restore it later? I'll ask over in the nexus 7 forums as well.

You can if you make a flashable zip. Installing via bootstrapper deletes everything iirc.
Cannocal has already made a flashable zip for the nexus devices. You have to fastboot flash a .img file.
