[Solved] strange error in google play store (DF-BPA-09) - HTC One S

hi i have the US htc one s and today i got a weird error in the google play store and its not letting me download apps onto in not even from the pc
it says "error processing purchase (DF-BPA-09)"
it comes up for both paid and free apps does anybody know what this is?

hey, i have the same exact error, im on HTC oneX (global edition)

Same here.
We just uploaded our app. Any luck on this?

i have the Same Problem

Same here
Cleared data and uninstalled updates still hasn't fixed it
I'm on a galaxy s2 ics

I've got it to work I clears the data for google servises framework and stopped the play store and it seems to b working now.

***Just realised I posted under the wrong thread as I'm using a Sony Ericsson x8 E15i running MiniCM7 on nAa Kernel - Thought I'd leave the post here incase this info helped anyone***
Also having this problem - Error processing purchase. [DF-BPA-09
This only happens when I try to download and install some apps but others work fine.
e.g.
I search the market for "Music Player". The second app down on the list is "Poweramp (Trial)". When I try to install this app I get the above error. (MOST music player apps give me this error).
However, Winamp installs fine without errors. I also installed a Online Banking app without problems, it just seems to be certain apps that give this error.
I'm thinking this is possibly a problem with the market rather than the user-end.
Could someone else try to download both "Poweramp" and "Winamp" and post the outcome back (I only have one handset but would like to eliminate a problem with my phone).
Using nAa Kernel on MiniCM7 2.2.0
Any help will be appriciated... it's beggining to bug me now!

i cleaned davick cache, clear data & cache for google framework & google play.. still no luck
im getting a mixture of "DF-BPA-09" "DF-BPA-13" as well as error code 921... very very frustrating!!!
i wonder is it because of the newest update to 3.5.16?

This worked for me. I ended up having to reboot, but after that the market was upgraded to the play store, and I was still able to install apps. Thanks.

Uninstalled update frm Version 3.5.19 back to 3.5.16, then cleared google services framework, and restart phone. Solved the issue for now I guess.

I tried all of this, on my og evo, and it did not work! Any other thoughts?

Clear cache on Google play solved it for me.

Play Store: Server error, Retry

a.s. i like to mess with system apps
So "all of the sudden" google play opens with a grey window stating server error with a button retry.
I tried the following:
1.Cleared cash, data, reboot.
Server error.
2. Let it run for a while as it auto updates.
Server error
3.Uninstalled, installed gp3.7.13.apk
Server error
4. Uninstalled, installed 3.5.19
Server error
5. Installed 3.7.13 back
Server error
In between somewhere the apps name was Market. Now its called Play Store again. Also some service called play store hygiene was running. Still server error. What else can i try?
It all worked well until it didnt. Ow except that for some apps ( that had the ability to install to sd card?) i had to unmount the sd card before installing, or else i wouldve got a message cannot install to usb storage or sd card. ICS problem?
I contacted google. Waiting for a reply...
@ikn0wagh0st ow yeah forgot to mention i am from germany. Haha maybe it is just a server error after all...

Any chance you are on the east coast? We have been having a lot of issues lately with due to the weather.
It still doesnt work! And its more than a day now!
I even tried this tool. http://viewoneworld.wordpress.com/2012/03/24/google-play-server-error-quick-fix/

Also i tried the app talk and it also cant sign in!
But when i opened the internet browser i was automatically signed in with the default account.
Google did not reply to my emails (yet?).
Any suggestions?

And your Google account is Ok?
Maybe you have to remove the Google account from your phone and re-create it again.
And no app is preventing Play store from accessing the internet?
(No firewall or filter app)
Play store is working fine ... and I am from Germany too.
Have you checked to access Play store from WLAN and/or mobile internet?
Maybe there is a difference?!
I tried both 3G and wifi. I double checked firewall configs and even disabled it to see if its working. I get the same server error message.
I went to /data/system and deleted accounts.db. Then i rebooted the phone, so the gmail account was no longer there... I started google play store and it was asking for an account. I closed it, went to settings and set up the deleted account again. Then i started google play store and guess what: server error. I feel frustrated.
Also i wrote google an email once and got a promt reply. This time they didnt reply yet.

New approach:
I uninstalled google play, then market and market updater from the phone completely and flashed it with the official sgs2 rom. Then opened the app now called Market, selected my service E-plus: server error. Now im pretty close in believing its some kind of server error after all. Hope itll sort itself out. I feel disconnected without google play.

I solved this issue by doing the following.
1. under > apps > All selecting Google Play/Store and selecting "clear data". I did the same thing for Google App Framework.
2. Reboot
3. Under accounts I removed my gmail account and added it back.
4. Reboot
5. Win
I've had this a few times caused by the time being set wrong on the device. My old wildfire refused to auto sync time and periodically went completely wrong and a few times my tablet has ended up on the wrong time after flashing.
Manually setting time/date works.

Can someone help me? I'm on a sensation xe running cianogen mod 9.1.0.
I can;t seem to get google play store to work! Tried everything and it's driving me insane, help? :/
I keep getting the server error issue. I have tried to delete the account and put it back, reinstall cianogen...but nothing seems to work?
PS.: Where is Google App Framework? I can't seem to find that anywhere!
What i can tell you is that i also reflashed the stock rom, but it didnt't solve the problem until i factory reset it, and flashed the rom again... now im not sure what factory reset would do if u run CM, but if you have a bulletproof bootloader like cwm, then its worth trying... I don't think factory reset changes anything in the boatloader. But i'm no expert, you should check that out.
You shouldnt worry about the framework, if you dont know where it is, you probably didnt uninstall it. Or did you accidently?
Ps. Its spelled cyanogenmod

Not able to download/update apps from Google Play.

Hey guys, I am from India and I am not able to update or download apps from google play on my r and neither on my brother's note.

Clear the cache & data of 'Play store' & 'Google Services Framework.'
Do update here if it solves the problem.
BTW are you still gonna make some banners for galaxy r users?

Does it show any error or is it just force closing? Try removing ur google account from ur phone. Go to Settings->applications->all->Play store-> Clear Cache. Do a reboot then add the account again. Also check the version of Play store. :fingers-crossed:

Just like cooleagle said above. And if you have a problem with downloading from play webstore (After wiping cache and data,) re-login to Gtalk! It should do the trick. Sometimes you may have to wait a while for effects (half an hour, hour) though.

How do I wipe data for play store and google service framework?
settings ->program->all -> navigate to those apps, tap and there you'll fing those options.
Sometimes, if you share SD cards between devices can trigger this problem. Try without a SD to see if this is the cause.
I did the data wipe, and downloads/updates are fine now.
I am again unable to download app updates from market. I again did dalvik cache wipe, and data wipe for google play and google framework service. I am getting error 497. Google search didn't yield anything helpful. Can someone suggest another solution?

Use any task killer/switcher & switch to Google play store which is already running in the background or start it once & then switch to it.
Even if the above doesn't help them click on 'Uninstall Updates' in the by going to Settings => Applications => Mange atop => Google Play app => Uninstall Updates.
Do update here if it helps.

Try making another gmail account for play store . IMO if nothing has worked so far , a hard reset might help but keep a back up of your data before you attempt that.

OK,
1) have to try with 4g instead of wifi?
2) so right now your phone is running pure stock ROM with no third party apps on it right? if it's, please try another google account. Remove the old one first, or if you don't have one try to sign into google to see if your account is still good. Do it a few times (login and out).
3)Check the following apps:
google play store 4.5.10
google play service 4.0.34
google sevice framework 4.3.757479
clear cache and data for all of them, then uninstall google play store, reboot phone, wait for it to update, once updated reboot then try again.

Seems like the play store apps are outdated and your phone should update automatically once it's online. You need to side load the apps from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/20hi0n6b2876080/4510 and 4034.rar unzip then try the 4.0.34 first, reboot, see if update the rest, if still not working install the second one 4.5.10. They are apk, so just install like an app.

Do you have the option to uninstall google play store? if you do, clear data, uninstall, stop the service, then open play see if that work. Usually this issue happened to custom rom only, not stock rom, and also with hyper drive rom, where it left residual to the host file.

OK..let take a step back, it's possible that you need to reflash. Do a factory reset, power off, put into download mode then Odin reflash the full stock factory file. Once it boot up let it sit for 5 min before going through the setup.

[Q] Error RPC:S-7:AEC-7

Has anyone ever gotten this error RPC:S-7:AEC-7 while trying to download apps in the Play Store and fixed it? I have tried everything, wiping cache, factory reset, install different GAPS, create a new google account. But NOTHING is working for me. Someone please tell me you have fixed this before!
Thanks,
Caleb
EDIT: FIXED
-Go to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->All
-Select "Clear Data" for Google Play Services and Google Service Framework
-Reboot the device
That should be it, it is working fine for me now.
I did it without unlinking my google account and it went well.
Thanks
I got this after doing a dalvik cache clear. Same in a few google accounts. Uninstalled updates to google play store and restarted phone and it was fine.

Thanks bro. It worked well for me too - CM12 / LLP
Halp! I can't erase the account. There's no "Remove/delete" account. I even flashed it and NOTHING.
Thanks, it works!
OP, you might want to edit your fix/solution. I don't think the step instructing you to remove and restore your google account is necessary.

Agreed. I also did it without unlinking google. Just clear data on both applications and restarted.
I have been getting this error for days now. Before this I would get the "this method of payment had been declined" for my google play credits for several months Jo matter what app I wanted to buy. Now with the error retrieving info from server I'm starting to get really pissed off.
I've tried it on different Roms, different phones, uninstalled updates to play store, cleared data on it and play services. It doesn't work no matter what I try. I want to be able to purchase apps, I've missed sales on apps because I get some stupid error. I'm at wits end please help me find a solution. I
Thanks. Works perfectly.
