I just bought a WonderMedia WM8650 and I'm wondering if you can root it and add a custom ROM or upgrade to a higher android version. I tried looking for a forum for this but I guess XDA doesn't have one.

just check the webs for polaroid 7 inch roms and look for an ics rom, or maybe its in the comments in that video.
Hi. I recently got a phonetab and I found it came with some bloatware and built in apps that i wanted to remove but it required a root. My device is Quantum Q-Wave71M2 and i would like to root it. I found a tool called unlockroot but it needs a pc to work and i dont have one. Is there any other root app for unbranded tablets that will root directly from my tablet? Update: I found out that my tablet is actually from a company called Alps. So its an Alps Q-Wave 71M2. I am new to all this so please help me!

I have just returned an IRulu Expro X2 Plus 10.1" tablet because I could not root it. After many attempts, all sources failed. So now I am considering buying a American Pumpkins Pumpkin X 10.1" A83T Octa Core Tablet with 32GB Drive/2GB RAM. I was wondering if there was any support for this as far as Rooting, Custom ROMs, and CWM/TWRP? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just received my Pumpkin X 10.1" Octa Core Tablet and I wanted to note that it came already rooted. However, I am still interested to know whether this might have support for Custom ROMs and CWM/TWRP?
