[Q] CM vs. AOKP Microphone Volume? - T-Mobile LG G2x

Gingerbread is giving me a lot of problems, but I can no longer run CM7/CM9-based ROMs because of the low microphone volume. My question is this: Since AOKP is a competitor of CM, does that mean the microphone volume adjustment bug wouldn't be present? Or is it still based on CM code?

I feel like the issue is more of a...
It not being LG kind of thing.

[Q] Volume Rocker Headphone Controls

Is there anyway to incorporate headphone controlling volume rockers into AT&T-based ROMs?
That is a feature I loved from CM7/9 and I was curious if it was something that could be put into non AOSP ROMs or not.
Also, is there a good place to look for this kind of information? I've done software development before but have no experience with android - I just had no idea where to start on something like this (as far as adding it to an existing ROM).
Just curious.

[Q] Question regarding volume control/muting - May stump you

Hello guys, I have a question. I used to be able to (in GB i believe) record video whilst playing music from my phone (ie Pandora running while recording) I've noticed that I have lost that functionality. Now when I record video, it seems that my notification/ringer volume becomes muted and raising it does not work. As soon as the recording stops, the volume returns to normal. Is there anyway around this or I am I doomed to no longer record my daughter dancing to music on my phone??
BTW, This is happening in all ICS/JB ROMs I have tried, i.e. PA, CM9 & 10, Unofficial KANG, Multiple Sense ROMS

[Q] Cant change volume while phoning

Hey,
when Im phoning, I can't change the volume when wearing headphones. Without headphones, it is no problem, and also normally I can change the volume of music, etc, but once the call started, I cannot change the volume, so the other person speaking is extremely loud.
I can see the volume-sliders going up and down, but nothing changes.
I had this issue with official CM 10, bruce's CM10, Albinoman 10.1, where other people report, they never have this issue.
Has anyone an idea, what can cause this problem?
In logcat I see many errors:
E/AudioHardwareMSM8660(20194): value of device and enable is 4 0 ALSA dev id:5

Voice quality issues.

I have the moto G xt1032 and am running c-rom 5.6.
My problem is that since I started flashing custom roms on my device I can't adjust in call volume and the quality of voice on my end is really bad(high pitched sounds just about blow my ear drum and it sort of screeches). The buttons are fine as I can still adjust media volume no problem and I have also tried restoring to stock but the issue remains. I have had a lot of android phones and know what I'm doing but not seen anything like this before. Any ideas on what the cause is would be most helpful.

In-call microphone problem

Hello everyone,
I have some trouble with my Mi4.
When I make a call, the other party is hearing me too low. Is there a way to boost the mic?

I tried to change the noise-cancelation setting in the Sound menu to single microphone- no improvement.
I am on latest Official Stable Release (not the development releases).
