Edit: Maybe i spoke too soon is this it?
I was able to download that motonav.rar file from the site if that's what you need.
Site is this one. http://www.filecrop.com/motonav-android.html
Attached is the rar file. Too big to attach i think so i uploaded it to 4shared. you dont need a password. Here you go if you still need it.

Hey guys,
One of the experienced Devs please tell me whether a .apk pulled through ADB from the /system/app folder of a HTC Incredible be ported/edited to install on our I9003
I've pushed the .apk to the /system/app folder on my I9003 and tried to run the file but it say, Application not installed
If this can be done then I will update the .apk for you to help us with it.
Thank you.
What apk is it? Some widget? Some program? Because HTC widgets and programs require their proprietary HTC sense framework! We have our touch wiz framework!

hmm lets hope dats wat we can do all for now ..
need some serious help from the serious developers ..
Its a complex thing and I "personally feel" that the source codes are not exactly upto the level required for compiling just the right thing.....
Also apk files won't work that are from HTC's proprietary sense framework ... plus a perfectly working kernel with complete support for TV out!!
I did check out the links that you gave me but nothing worked...
Our only hope is developers and maybe a bit more "fresher" (not sure of this) gingerbread source codes...

Firstly, we need to deodex it. Then we can decompile it, edit it to our needs, and recompile it (using apk manager). Still, this needs to have pointers to specific libraries and kernel instructions (such as overlay and display). This is all just theory though, can't test it till I'm back at my computer.

Guys I searched in net. There I found very useful information. I got all 2.3.7 cyanogen mod stock apps.
Here is link of it.
http://www.filesonic.com/file/2784137485
From .rar file extract apps & replace in system/apps.
Note: Works only in CM7 firmware.
Can you list the apps please which are included.
How do we replace system apps just over write it with root explorer?
Since it will overwrite how do we take backup apk file format so if things go wrong we can install older apk back.
gr8 work.. thanx for the useful post
@ vishal
dude if i am not wrong then these applications which you have shared is from cyanogenmod

better is to keep a cwm backup before replacing files.
may be that problem is associated with the gallery itself oe the wallpaper is not of the proper resolution you can use my gallery.apk it works fine

Actually the wallpaper resolution is perfect. I have set it as wallpaper in horizontal mode saveral times. This gallary is really super smooth.
Can u please upload ur gallary3d.apk file for me???
I think you should highlight the Note: Only for CM7...

nice find! perhaps it would be helpful if you could point out which apps are safe to use and which might cause some damage
for the record, car home and CMWwallpapers work fine (car home goes in /system/app, CMWwallpapers can be installed as normal)

MODS PLZ CLOSE THIS THREAD.
Here is a cool Bootanimation -- I don't know who I should give credit to. I extracted it from Galaxy Note - TeamRocket ROM.
I just modified some loops at the end and change the pixel resolution setting to 600x1024 for our G-Tab.
If anyone knows who we should give credit to please post.
Enjoy.
Note: Thanks to Sir Otto, we have a shorter version. Go to his post for download link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26798166&postcount=14
To change your bootanimation, you will need :
1. root access and Root Explorer, or CWM.
Method 1:
Simply go to /system/media, place the attached bootanimation.zip in the folder replacing the original one.
Note: Please don't forget to back up your old bootanimation just in case you don't like what you downloaded.
Method 2:
Flash zip file on 2nd post below (TronDroidBootanimation.zip) in CWM recovery mode.
Credits:
TeamRocket (Galaxy-Note ROM) -- I extracted from this rom.
ATGAdmin and Icy (Iconia A500) -- It w also the boot animation for his ROM
Sir Otto -- For editing it to make shorter version --Please hit the thanks button on his post!
CWM Flashable / Screenshots
Update: CWM flashable zip file; only work for non-stock ROM.
download below attached file to your sdcard,
reboot to CWM recovery,
flash the zip file,
Reboot.
Here are screenshots
This is very nice. Thanks!

Thanks
This looks very cool on the old tab 7
My pleasure, but again any of you guys know who we should give credit to this beautiful boot animation, please let us know.
Please share if you have or know any cool boot animation. Thanks.
your Neo-Droid boot animation is very nice, but I have to say I'm going with this one, the Tron-Biker. Sorry bro.
There was a guy in the acer a500 and asus transformer prime forums that had this boot animation on his roms. He goes by the name ATGAdmin. He had the icylicious roms for those devices. Not sure if he is still on xda due to some disagreements he had with other developers and the mods.

And what happened to him? I tracked him and he has not posted anything after 2nd of May. I can't post to any of his threads, and seems like whatever happened already deleted from the original thread.
Well there goes, at least partial credit (if it not the whole credit) goes to ATGAdmin and his Icylicious roms. Still not clear if he created the bootanimation or not but he used it about at the same time or a little earlier than TeamRocket for the Galaxy-NoteThanks for the info.
Excuse me, yappoe, but I found this boot animation quite long. Can I just remove some of the images in the zip folder in order to leave only the final part or would it cause terrible things like bricking my Galaxy Tab?
And if I manage to get it working, will you let me upload my "reduced" version here?

It's not going to get your Tab bricked, but it might make the bootanimation not functional (blank boot animation). Maybe Mr. Yappoe kind enough to release a shorter version.

Slyv3 is correct, it won't brick your Tab. At worst you will have blank animation. Yes you can post it here for the short version. Thanks.
Thank you, yappoe and slyv. I tried removing some images in the zip files and it worked.
Now unfortunately I have a slow connection, but I will upload it as soon as possible.

I have tested these 2 roms and it works 100% with CM9 ICS 4.04 and AOKP 4.04 but when I try copying bootanimation.zip using root explorer with root access to a stock 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 gingerbread rom, it gives me a message that there is not enough space to copy this file. I have noticed that the stock rom does not have a bootanimation.zip file. Advise please. thanks

Hi, in stock firmware, there won't be a bootanimation.zip. There will be "samsungbootloop.qmg".
If the original version is too big, can you try the shorter version by Sir Otto above and see if you can put it in?

As the title suggests, I present you guys the good-old-fashioned boot animation from Play Station 1.
These days I was trying to find one that fits our Xperia Z1 big screen at the maximum resolution, but I had no luck. So I checked Youtube for sources and used this as a base:
Instructions
Download the file and paste the zip into /System/Media using a file manager with root privileges. You must overwrite the original one. I suggest that you make a backup of it.
Change permissions to 0644.
You can also use this APP to do the same: Boot Animations ★ root
Reboot and enjoy!
Download
The final result you can DOWNLOAD HERE
You can modify the file as you wish, but don't forget to mention me
If anyone manage to improve this boot animation, please get in touch with me, I would like to use on my device!
Credits to ShadowGamerCageHD [YouTube] for his original work.

Well, I warned in the OP about making a backup.
Anyway, you must set the correct permissions, otherwise it will not work. Unfortunately I don't have the original one to upload, maybe someone could upload it to you :good:
Use the app provided in the OP-Instructions to correct it.
