I have an eclipse project for a Live Wallpaper that crashes the process when I try to open the LWP on my phone. The exported apk runs/installs without a hitch, and eclipse isnt giving me any errors.
Here is the project folder with the Android Manifest and stuff media fire .com/?wwzq6o6ns7y4e4q ... can anyone help me fix this?

I'm new here and this is my first post here, so be gentle with me.
I have a T-Mobile Pulse (Huawei U8220) that is running my own custom rom called J-MOD which is based on Android 2.1. The rom is working great but I want to try and solve a little issue that is niggling at me, it's not a show stopper nor does it cause any trouble etc...
When I open the wallpaper gallery I get 3 wallpapers and 11 empty slots, I am trying to add 2 more wallpapers to the gallery and remove the remaining empty slots, but I'm struggling to achieve this.
My ROM uses a themed version the Stock Android Launcher, I've decompiled the launcher.apk using APKTOOL and modified some XML files and tried to recompile the APK but I get loads of errors when I do this.
Do any of you guys know how to do this? Any pointers you can give me?

I am not trying to do something illegal by signing app made by someone else into mine.
Actually i made a live wallpaper with Custom Live Wallpaper Creater 2.6 and when i upload it to the market i get an error that the application is signed by the android team, please sign it with your own certificate and key.
I googled a lot and i have tried the signing method using eclipse indigo but i am unable to create my apk file because i havent compiled my wallpaper through that software. I am a newbie in app development so i am facing problem in signing these apps so that they can be uploaded to the android market.
Can someone please help me ?
I'm working on a themed version of the AOSP 4.2 keyboard. I got it done and i want to upload it to the android market, but i can't unless i change the application package name. Can anybody guide me on how to do this? I'm not familiar with eclipse.

I am a fairly new developer (I developed a few apps for iOS in Objective-C). I am looking to get the APK file for the Android L Contacts/People app (I am developing a contacts related app). I tried extracting the L Developer Preview image with no luck. I also found this post which didn't help either: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2796019. I can give more detail if needed. Also, I can't download the L Preview in Eclipse; Maybe I have to do an update?

like many of you I too have installed CyanogenMod 12 and as many of you sound a new developer of themes Android .
Until now I've developed a couple of themes for kitkat with Android studio and have them properly published on the play store .
A few days ago I started to compile and install my themes on lollipop after obviously made the appropriate changes .
The theme seems to be installed but after about twenty seconds of installation I get this error :
Failed Install Theme
And the app disappears from the themes of CyanogenMod . Have any of you had a similar problem ?
The process of completing and signing the apk is the same in that lollipop in kitkat ?
Any suggestion is valuable ,

I'm new in modding
but i've some problem to decompile and recompile theme
on lollipop 5.0.2,
I use last apktool version to decompile
and last sdk version to compile on android studio.
Ok i've this problem,
if i take a Free Cm12 theme on play store and decompile it
with apktool 2.0.0rc3 and after i recompile it on android studio,
without changing anything ,
and I try to install it on my phone ,
I get the error failed to install theme ,
if I go in logcat to verify the problem is that I read a relative
error all'overlays and in particular folder :
inputlatinmethod
and
installationpackage
I set the project structure in the android studio settings with jdk 1.8.0.31 and sdk
Android 5.0 with api21
I have no error during compiling also because i not edit anything
but the theme is not installed ....
have any suggestions ?
