This Rom is sleek and smooth. All tablet mode features are enabled and its a very nice and stable Rom.
TIPS:
When you boot up the phone, go to apex settings,Behavior settings then change screen orientation to always landscape. Then go into system settings/Display, then inside there change font size to large/HUGE. Trust me on this.
Version 4 is new and sleek. I hope you like it.
To install please copy Rom.zip to sdcard then full wipe and install. once done just reboot and enjoy. if coming from another version of my rom just install rom. ( dont wipe or anything )

Installation:
- Make sure you're running the latest 4Ext or CWM Recovery
- Download the zip from the link
- Copy it to sdcard
- Reboot to recovery
- Backup your current Rom
- Wipe data / factory reset (at 4ext format all except sd is even better)
- Choose flash zip from sdcard
- Choose the zip and confirm flashing

If you get annoyed with the stock camera, then just download the angel camera linked at the bottom its much better.
Bugs:
there's a bug with v.4 The phone app. when some1 calls the answer slider is way too low. this will be fixed in next build untill then if it bugs u then download the fixed dialer app below

Sorry I'll correct it later, and I used it as a base now. At first I used the rom but now I have used alit of ur rom but only to see if people actually like it. If they do I'll build from sources. This is just like a little test to see how many people will like it. Like I said I used alot of ur rom but within a week or 2 I'll have to start building from sources but so far I hope its liked as I do think this modification on ics is a very good place for me to take advantage of thanks again I couldn't have started this without ur rom.

My pleasure and could really understand it if your using blindice instead, also if you can do what you wanna do there is no need to build completely from source, i was just a bit curious^^

okay so i was just playing a game on my device ( using my rom ) and i got a random reboot. dont know what the cause was in trying to find out what caused it and it will get fixed.

yeah that's right. im trying to find a fix for this but version 3 is actually more stable than 1 or 2 so that's good anyways hope you all like it anyway

v4 will be up within the next half hour and ive fixed the market you can download all apps paid or free or purchased and new email app new contacts and new keyboard i think if u like my tablet mode rom you will LOVE v4 its very sleek

Installation Instructions:
- Full wipe mandatory, if not coming from any previous IceColdSandwich build (mine or Rapier) or any other rom. Else rom will fc and lag. Sorry but I recommend for testing full speed and no issues!!!

But after flashing both the zip...SystemUI has stopped error will occur...replace the systemui.apk from the rom in /system/app/ and reboot...all should be fine and your phone should fly

Here's a rip from the CM9 build, which solved the problem for me. Just paste into /system/app and restart

Cache wipe did nothing and even a reflash (without full wipe) didn't make the screen buttons disappear.
Solved it with a clean install, will provide last_kmsg if it's happening again.

Yes, and some additional, but look yourself, no one forces you to use anything and there is something weird, called backup, if you don't like it.

Thanks for the tip, but i already knew that i can do backups.. But that always costs time because i want to test roms for a longer time to rate it, so i wanted some arguments to test it.

I never tested it...without preview I find it a bit tough to cope with...after sometime when novelty wears off...i find it a headache...but you can test and let me know how it goes...

This is an awesome system,it looks alot like MIUI and runs like CM,but of course it does its on a CM7 base,but the menus,transitions and the gestures to get things to respond are unique.
Right now this is the beta testing phase,i was able to install lewa OS successfully on the OG EVO,but it has a few bugs as of now,no data/sync and no gapps,it seems to be stuck on roaming,i have a few testers running it now to find more bugs,i will accept a few more beta testers,if you are interested,pm me.
When a beta testing phase is over(beta 1,beta 2,etc.)i will post a public link,so the rest can try it also.

I installed ICS_GAPPS.zip i had it worked and i was able to get to my e-mail,wifi works tethering works,not sure about 4g yet,probably not.Havent been able to test it much,thats why i need beta testers.Also data/syncing doesnt work.

Here is the gapps that I used and the contacts, email have synced. Also here is the bulid prop from cm7 i extracted and copied to the system folder and now I have data.
gapps is flashable. build prop is not, you must extract it and save to sdcard. then copy it to the system folder.
Nice work Diablo! Man your a beast, another great rom, what'd you have a time machine? How do you find the time for all these great roms you've been pumping out?

Excelent work my friend,i will download the build.prop and add it to the next beta,this means,we can post the first beta release,i wont have the new build.prop and gapps added,it will be the raw beta we worked with,i said once we advanced i would post the betas.

Def gonna flash this over the weekend.
I ran into an issue with the lockscreen. When trying to apply a different lockscreen, the phone went into a boot-loop.
I tried to wipe only the cache and dalvik and re-flashed, but the boot-loop continued. Ended up wiping everything and reflashing the rom.

This is interesting stuff in here.....hahahaha
Ok, this rom is in another world of it's own. It's very speedy and the response is like none other. For a non hwa, I'm very impressed! The system video playback is very nifty. I am able to watch videos without having to install flash.
The sound for this rom is on the lower side, maybe it's just my bad hearing from all the loud music and bass growing up I thought it could be kernel related, so I test some kernel out. I flash mason I thinking this was hwa support but phone lagged out really bad. I went back and flash mason G .14 sbc and it's running fine now.
I notice that I'm missing quite a few widget. My battery monitor widget isn't here along with my beautiful widget. I do remember when running backup I "click install to sd". So I moved app to internal voila I have widget!
So I'm guessing until a2sd is cook in, I can't get the widget to work properly if I installed it to sd.
Is that build.prop to get data/sync? I copied over but my phone is still in roaming. Unless I'm reading it wrong?
Before I try this out, how's the music sound quality? Is it like sense base or cm7 with dspmanager that actually works?

Legend Model number is A109 and as i say thats the base rom prerelease for test so if we find any bug to be fixed before the Alpha release

well i think the problem is in systen apk
u need to reflash the one from sp flash tool then u will get ur memory back
And you can tell me how to change it or what I'm doing wrong

No my friend its pure these is only prerelease to find out any bug so that i can work on them you can find anything you want abou the rom on my changelog
recently i installed your alpha ROM and test the camera quality.
front camera quality is improved!
but back camera is worst. here the sample image i took from my phone.

You must have a Customrecovery installed, CWM or TWRP
The rom load into sdcard and flash by the recovery

No, you don't need to be on stock. You need a custom recovery installed like CWM touch. Check my thread for installation guide. If you are coming from another ROM or Stock, I'd always recommend a full wipe installation and a nandroid backup before.

Touch sounds
I love your Rom but there is an option in the stock rom to have touch sounds and i find that useful to me. also there is an option to disable it in the stock rom. I will be unhappy until you bring them back.

You can do this on your own
Use a root file explorer like the included Ghost Commander and navigate to /system/media/audio/ui. Rename S_HW_Touch.ogg.bak and TW_Touch.ogg.bak back to S_HW_Touch.ogg and TW_Touch.ogg
Additional tips when using Ghost Commander:
- you have to activate Root support at first in the options
- system folder is mounted as read only when first navigating into the folder, you have to remount it first (there's an option in the lower button slide)

Got given a tab 3 7.0 for xmas and was disappointed with how slow it was. I was going to take it back for a refund until I saw your ROM and thought I'd give it a go and boy, am I glad I did
It's like having a different tablet. Faster, lag free and runs everyting I've thrown at it 100%.

Move To sd card error
hey man when i try the move to sd card button to move the app it tells me there isn't enough storage space but i have room, can you tell me what is wrong? also you said that app/data is in your rom.

I think it's a problem with Samsung only emulating SD. It was there on the original Samsung ROM as well
Don't think there's anything Marco can do unless Samsung release 4.1.3 which I somehow doubt they will.

Move apps to SD was already discussed a lot in the main thread. Sadly, this feature is not supported in Stock Sammy ROM, I found a way to enable the move option, but the move itself is not implemented.
Up to now, I have not found a full working solution, but I am working to find one. It the move option bothers you, you can disable it by flashing this mod: http://dfiles.eu/files/ybjn4tv3h.
The only working solution up to now seems to be a program called "Folder mount", please search for it in the main thread (you can click on my signature or click here...
New statusbar icons would be nice and also some more wallpapers
Hey tempdroid! You have made a good rom so far but in the next update I would like to see new statusbar icons. I want one that comes right from the cyanogenmod theme SUBZ3R0. If you don't know this theme yet you can look it up. Also some more wallpapers relating to RocketTab would be nice. Remember you can do what I want or you can do what you feels right. Hey tempdroid I want to overclock my device to the point where it is safe can you tell me the right way to do it. I want to play real racing 3 but it lags a lot sometimes.

For this release I'm not planning to change status bar icons, but you are free to develop a MOD for RocketTab 3.0 and send it to me, after it's released. I'm always searching for people who help me building good MODs for RocketTab. :highfive:

well i must say the rom is fluid...just like molten buttery smooth apart from the little flicker when you lock the phone using power button...can see few new toys there and must say i am lovin it haha...and love the fact that ya don't have to restart while you change the lcd density and the portal of pennywise is cool...saves time looking for gapps and stuff...thats a life saver for sure...still flirting with it but i must say kudos to the team gzr :victory:
p.s. -hate the joker so had to change the wallpaper haha and i should say you guys should make your own boot animation...preferably a light one like earlier slim rom had...oh and happy easter to all you guys and thanks

Not quite following you...we DO have our own boot ani...and Im glad you like it...There are alot of toys and more being added by myself and john every day...As of now we will be on weeklys as its only 2 of us building this...But I will keep the OP up to date with new builds as i run them..

well for some reason the boot ani on my cell with your rom is being displayed as CM boot ani and i havnt flashed CM for like last 10 roms i had flashed lol...thats weird..and yeah keep up the good work...we appreciate it...removed the screens cheers mate

I also get cm logo when i boot. I also noticed recovery warned me that the system would flash a stock recovery if something went wrong.
not sure if thats new! never saw that in other builds. Maybe just me!

Kishore i think it doesnt matter, because i used cwm recovery.
Ink, love the the validus recent apps switcher, pandoras box, and
kernel tweaker nice touches!! lovin this rom. killin my battery playing
with this though, i need to let it rest! kishore hows battery life for you?

well for me it was night and i left it overnight and it was down to 73% when i got up thats not bad i guess taking in consideration that signal reception at my place is not that great and its always flipflop so lots of the battery juice goes down searching for network...and after that i am giving it a run on charging as i need to be at work soon and dont want it to just die on me mid day at work haha but there is certainly no overheating of the phone...i didnot tried the battery saver though...will be doing it tonight when i get back home

lol well i use to remove the boot ani anyways along with extra blobs and fonts that i dont use..and yeah its not a big deal about the stock recovery warning as its not reverted to stock anyways..but i think we are in need of junk remover script on blaze anyways on blaze as the FSC/gremlin remover link is dead and we have clean them each time manually...its a pain actually...i was thinking of makin an aroma for that but i been lazy and busy with work...think i will give it a try tonight, not easy for a med guy who does it for a hobby haha...anyways good job you and John...always been fan of your roms even if i used to be just silent here usually...thanks dude :good:
