Here is a little game that I developed. The basic gameplay is similar to PvZ with some additions and variations.

P.S: I would really appreciate if you rate/review it and spread the word. Also, if you encounter an issue, post it in this thread and I'll do all I can to figure out and solve the issue.
P.P.S: It does have in-app payment but that is strictly optional. It is NOT a limited trial or something. You can play through entire levels without paying.
P.P.P.S: It IS a continuous work in progress. New levels, weapons, enemies and device support coming soon.

Great game! Look the design of the Start screen! Some suggestions though:
1) Could you please implement saving to SD?
2) Can the Solar Panel generate power at a faster rate...?
Oh and in the Virology, under Weapons, is the unit of cost a mistake? It's currently showing for e.g. the laser gun with a cost of 100 HP?

Well noted. I'll have it corrected.
About solar panel, I can reduce the over all power and recharge time. The tapping/collection might become tedious in later levels though, when you have more than a single row of panels.

Beautiful graphics and very addictive. I am already at the 9th level.

New Apk is up, both at the market and at the original post. Some bugs fixed.

Downloading now... Graphics look good, especially the characters.

Move to SD added in the latest version. Please report if you encounter any problems

So far so good. My youngest is going to love this one. He really enjoyed PvZ.
I have a suggestion, when I drag the minus button over something to get rid of it (say I want to replace the laser with a different weapon) maybe you could give a credit for the item. Sort of selling it back. Say half of the purchase price?

To delete the towers, use the (-) button in the lower left corner.

I don't know if you know this about me... but there's one way to make me instantly go crazy about a game... make it a Shoot 'Em Up with RPG elements and/or melee weapons.

It's not quite Sol Divide, but it's damn close. I took one look at the pictures and knew I immediately needed to download it.
Japanese animation? CHECK!
Absolutely laughabad translation? CHECK!

I tested the game just now, weird the X/[]/O//\ buttons work just fine.
I also noticed that you can select "RELATIVE " in the option for the control mode instead of "D-PAD", that will hide the on-screen dpad and still you can use the PLAY control pad and enjoy more of the screen.​

Its working? What r800 do you have? I think it might be like pewpew where only certain models work right

Yeah, I'm thinking it's another compatibility issue.
Like I mentioned before, another game worked like this. PewPew 2 would only work with R800a, not R800x or R800i. Probably just didn't make the controls work for all R800 models.

The developer just updated the game today with quick fix.
That was fast!! I hope that resolve the issue.

Seriously... it's like seeing Japanglese games like Zero Wing in the beginning of the nineties all over again. When will the brainy graphical adventures à la Monkey Island or Grim Fandango take over like they did in the middle nineties?

Is it just me, or are these mobile app developers getting to be more competent than the big-time console devs?
Definitely giving them props on my Youtube publication channel.

This game is pretty fun. Works fine with the XPlay controls. I was a little thrown off by the boss after boss after boss kind of thing at first, but it does make for a good mobile game.

Fcuk, boss already at the beginning of the level.. I'm s*ck at this.. But i will try to finish this game, I don't wanna waste my 2$ for this..

Yeah, I think the barriers between independent developers and consumers is very limited especially within the android market/appstore.
It is very easy and convinent for us to rate & write a comment -which only take few minutes- to support the dev or request or complain about something.
I think it is very important feature and very beneficial for everyone within the eco system to take advantage of. Especially for us PLAY owners if we want more support & trust from the developers.
I think I would start a thread in PLAY general forum to discuss it & its long-term benefit. Only if I weren't lazy

Buggy games like Bethesda's and Gameloft's are sold by the millions and seldom, if ever, have their bugs fixed. Indie devs do well in listening to their customers, but it's obvious that it's not a key feature for success.

Railshooter Heist The Score now out

I just have found this game when I searched for news at xperiagamer.com. Comes from Dead on Arrival developer. It is a rail shooter so it is only possible to aim and duck. But it´s challenging. The graphics are quite okay. The story is about a bank heist during the 1920´s. And it is optimized for our Xperia Play! Go under settings and choose D-pad. It´s also possible to use the touchpads for aiming. Available for 99 Cents (Europe) in Android Market so grab it while it´s cheap!

Btw how does it play ?

I think it plays nice. You shoot your way through the whole bank with different weapons like a Thompson, a pistol and a rifle. The gameplay seems a bit easy but it´s not because the enemies are not stupid and take cover too. You must use cover to regain health if you´re wounded and to protect yourself. Ammo boxes must be shoot to get ammo. Sound weird but it is like that. The cutscenes are interesting. I like this 1920 setting and this story about a bank heist which went wrong.
The controls are good. You shot with R and duck with L, reloading is done with SQUARE and swapping weapons can be done with CIRCLE and TRIANGLE. Aiming can be a bit tricky though because the touchpads aren´t really precise. I use the d-pad instead. I think its worth buying for 99 Cents.

Crap didn't see this post when searched lol iv just bought its pretty good game u need to get the sensitive controls ironed out but when u do it's great. :-D thanks for the info

I played it on my samsung galaxy fit , a low end android device. The first 3D game with amazing performance. Kudos to you for the game will recommend it to my friends.

If there are developers and promoters here let us try to help each other by rating and reviewing each others app, of course genuinely.
At least, please try the app once (its free) and if you leave a review and a comment, I will definitely return the favor (needs to be free app).

My feelings :
- "how to play" at start is unreadable because low quality and actually the menu too.
- menu music is repetitive too much (i think), and engine's sound too ("vroom ... vroom... vroom... ad eternam, noisy).
- stop the "High score submited" for Openfeint when the actual score is not better than the Openfeint's one. (retrieve the openfeint user's score, and only if the new score is better than this one, submit it, and you won't have this notification at each game).
+ it's running totally well on Galaxy nexus (thank God) .
+ controls are OK.
+ addicting !

Works fine on a rooted thunderbolt. Hard to see the cones that are hidden in a row of coins. Also, I think the controls would be better if you could just tap to change lanes or jump and brake instead of swiping.

Yes, I know that this game is looks similar to one popular title
But in my game you can slice fruits to much smaller pieces or totally destroy it.
And be careful and don't touch hamster !

Pretty cool the only real annoying lame part, an ad pops up right as the game start and a fruit falls. Instant X.. Gee.....

I thought this was worth considering. (With it being on Front Page) Thought it would be at least not adware.
Don't see what is interesting about a clone. (Adware is not free to anyone with any sense).
No way a game should need your exact location or identity or to run at startup.
Should be - Perhaps stop from sleeping that is all.

Fruit Slasher 3D on Google Play says there are 27 reviews. "Read All User Reviews" shows a single review. Can you please make visible the remaining 26 reviews?

It doesnt support galaxy ace so sad

Is this any difference in terms of the blades, Like speed etc. Or is it just color?

More seriously, it looks good - I'll give it a try as soon as possible. From what I see, I especially like being able to cut fruits (and hamsters) more than once. I'll probably end up avoiding fruits and cutting hamsters tho, looks REAL fun.
