[Q] Is my HTC desire S gone or can i fix it?

So i updated my HTC Desire S yesterday and after the update i cant get it to run beyond the htc logo screen.
It have became locked. I think the problem is the new HBOOT 2.00.0002 atleast it was the thing that started all the problems.
So i have gone on looking for fixes for this problem, tried most things. But i have a really annoying problem. I read that i have to unlock the bootloader before i can do anything to fix it. So i go on to HTCdev and go through the process of unlocking my phone. I download all i need, Get my token and what not, use the unlock token. I get to the screen that tells me to press yes to unlock it or no to just return.
Now i have a real problem here, I cant for the life of me press yes. The phone just refuses to accept it.
Is there any way to fix this? have a missed something in the process? or am i just out of luck and shall throw the phone on the ground?

[Q] Unlocking Sensation (probably messed up the phone)

I tried the free unlock while doing the SuperCID and that didn't work. I gave up trying and I got a code from T-Mobile. Problem is when I try to punch in the unlock code, while using CM 10.1, it manages to unlock, but it doesn't find the signal and when I restart the phone it goes back to the SIM unlock code screen. Did I unintentionally mess up the phone when I did the free unlock? Help, please!
So, no help? :/ I mean I was thinking of putting the phone back on stock sense, but I'm not sure.

[Q] Remove the lock?

Hello, on all the phones I've rooted before and had a tampered logo somewhere on the boot screen, I was able to remove it, but on this phone I have no idea how to get rid of the unlocked lock on the Google boot screen, anyone know how to fix this? Or is it impossible?

fastboot oem lock
Or since you're rooted, try BootUnlocker and lock/unlock the bootloader whenever you want...

But if I lock the bootloader wont I not be able to flash things without unlocking it again? I flash things way to often, I figured there'd be a way to just simply hide it. I've accomplished this on other phones.

You can still flash from recovery with a locked bootloader, just not from the bootloader itself (fastboot). And you can just unlock it using BootUnlocker anytime you want to flash with fastboot... it's that easy.
I don't know if you can just hide the icon without locking... most of us here don't care about the icon... it's just part of what makes a Nexus a Nexus. I personally enjoy seeing it when my devices boot up - it reminds me that I bought a device that supports unlocking and flashing out of the box without hacks.

Hi. I've just found a material theme for the nexus 5 bootloader and i've asked the developer if he can remove the lock icon under the google logo and he did it. You can find the flashable zip on the fourth page of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...t3118100/page4
Cheers!

I Forget the Pattern Code

Hi, im forget the pattern code, i already use the fingerprint code to unlock the phone, but when i try to enable the iris unlock, the phone asks me for the unlock pattern.
Is there any way to remove the pattern without factory reset the phone or losing the data?
Are you rooted?
somewhere on xda i think there is a zip you can push to your device to remove the pattern.

Phone just crashed. Could it be because of an unlocked bootloader ?

I opened up the developer options on my Moto G Stylus and went under OEM Unlocking and selected the allow the bootloader to be unlocked option. That was either last week or a few weeks ago because I wanted to root it and put a custom rom on it. I didn't rooted it yet because I'm not sure what roms are good, I only had cyanogin mod roms on my other phones and I'm not sure which rom is the safest and best to use so I still use the stock rom. I turned on Pandora to play music before I went to sleep. When I woke up my phone was in some kind of recovery mode and said something like the operating system failed to boot. Two options were available, 1- to try booting again, and 2-factory reset the phone which would erase all data. I selected 1, and my phone booted up. Could this be because the bootloader is unlocked? Does having the bootloader unlocked leave it suspectable to being hacked? Could my phone have been hacked?
Switching OEM Unlocking is not enough to unlock, you then must on motorola unlock webpage paste code from your phone and, wait for unlock code in email, via fastboot with this unlock code doing finaly real umlocking...

Would selecting the bootloader option to be unlocked in the developer options make my phone more vulnerable to be hacked?
A few hours later my phone did the same thing and went into recovery mode saying that my phone could not load the OS and might be infected or something. I had the same options to either try to load the OS again or factory data reset the phone. How could this happen?
I factory data reset my phone this time. I just hope I don't have some kind of malware.
Mine was hacked like this. Changed stuff so it won't boot back to original. Got into system files and remote control my phone. Is there a way to get back to original without computer? It's useless now
