Samsung is releasing a device soon called the Galaxy S III, but it is curious nevertheless that an official Samsung database used by developers is already listing a couple different models of the phone. The new Galaxy S device will be officially unveiled at a highly anticipated media event next week, and it’s little things like this that prove how close it is to reality.

The database, known as Kies, lists a “Galaxy S3″ with model number GT-I9300T and another with model number GT-I9300. The latter is interesting, because there had been rumors floating about that specific model number as being a separate tiered version of the device, but they were not easily substantiated. It’s also worth pointing out that it’s spelled “Galaxy S3″ as opposed to the company’s more conventional “Galaxy S III” naming structure.
The most attention-grabbing thing about this is that there are thumbnails of the product as well. Now of course, they’re very small and really can’t event be significantly distinguished from the other Samsung smartphones. Nevertheless, it’s just another piece that shows this puzzle is very close to coming together. Source: Slashgear

Here's a comparison chart I just created of warranty and insurance coverage for smart phones.
Comparison is between SquareTrade, Worth Ave Group, ToughCell, and Sprint TEP. I did not include others as I am not really familiar with them or haven't heard of them. I have Sprint, worked with SquareTrade, and will probably be going with Worth Ave Group in the near future. I did my best to be as accurate as possible but things may be different! Feel free to suggest corrections and/or additions. I'll update/fix it and repost whenever I get the chance.
**This information may not be 100% percent accurate so ask questions to whichever party you choose before signing up for anything, anywhere! Things change, and information found on their websites may change or may be incorrect! All information in this chart is collected from their respectful websites and recent experience**
*Coverage compared is for SMARTPHONES only, NOT iPhones or anything else* No, I'm not saying iPhones aren't smartphones, they have their own category on most of the websites of these providers.
Green is a little shout out to Android

After the Galaxy SIII’s S Voice leaked over the weekend, user experiences were quickly halted as the servers that powered the service seemed to have been shut down or blocked. Some guessed that Samsung was behind it and sure enough today, they admitted that they were.
Their reasoning? Well, because that version was only a test build and they did not want the world to assume it was the final product:
An initial test version of S Voice which was found online has been blocked as Samsung Electronics does not want consumers to judge the quality of the voice feature based on a test version. When the product is launched, users of GALAXY S III will be able to fully experience S Voice.
I’d say that makes a lot of sense. Usually these leaked ROMs are indeed test builds, so it’s hard to argue with that reasoning. Doesn’t part of you think that they did it so that one of the exclusive features to the GS3 was preserved, though? Can’t blame them for wanting that to happen either, especially knowing that the phone itself hasn’t even been released yet.
How has your experience been with S Voice? Game-changer or just another voice actions app?

Nokia Normandy (Android) prototype leaked in China with dual-sim, dual-standby & Andr
Nokia’s Android phone known as Nokia Normandy aka RM-980 is not dead yet and Nokia may have put it on its release path already has been asserted by evleaks and our own sources.
Leaks of the first Nokia with Android doesn’t seems to stop and now a prototype has been leaked in China giving a blurry glimpse of the UI. One can only see the messaging icon clearly and the messaging icon looks quite different from what we see on Asha 5XX series and looks “Androidesque”.
Nokia logo is missing from the prototype but it matches well to earlier leaked press images and also that “Back” key reveals its “Asha” family roots. One more noteworthy thing is that source claims it to come with dual-sim, dual-standby feature, a departure from earlier Ashas and similar to first dual-sim Lumia, the Lumia 630.

So I've been looking into wireless chargers for my new S10e. So I obviously want Fast Charge capability (the 15W kind, not the 9w kind), and have been looking at the EP-N5200T. Now, on the main site https://www.samsung.com/ro/mobile-accessories/wireless-charger-stand-ep-n5200/EP-N5200TBEGWW/ it lists compatibility with everything from an old S6 all the way up to the Note 10+, and everything in between and even an Iphone thrown in there for good measure. Except the S10e. Now, maybe the description has not been updated when the S10e came out (which is probably the case) but just to be 100% sure, I contacted their support and got a reply, I'm paraphrasing here, "It's only compatible with what's on the list". Which seems totally bogus. It's compatible with an ancient S6 for crying out loud (limited compatibility of course, with whatever specs the S6 had available at the time), and every flagship Galaxy released since, but not the S10e?
Now given the crap that sometimes Samsung pulls, it's not totally impossible that the charger is not compatible, though highly unlikely, can someone confirm or deny the compatibility of the EP-N5200T with the S10e?
So it seems Samsung support staff are idiots.

Not sure how realistic these announcements are vs "marketing power-point based products", but it seems UNISOC has been announcing at Barcelona MWC more focus on Auto Chipsets. In particular from their Twitter account:

Also, one outlet covering diverse Chinese MWC announcements in a note published:
"UNISOC will focus on displaying the first 5G smart cockpit chip platform A7870. It will also display a 4G car chip solution A7862, and an eight-core 4G car tech chip solution A8581. These products are currently entering the leading car group. In 2023 and in the future, UNISOC will further increase investment in automotive electronics."
The 7862 we know for years (and the 8581 is even less powerful) and that is why most probably they were branded in a more "legacy way" (4G)... but the fact that they (it seems) decided to dedicate some real-state of the stand to Auto solutions seems promising
Yes, I know, it might be ages until FYT or somebody else actually embeds this in a product... but the FYT-7862 has been around for 2.5 years already...
Has anybody heard anything on this?
