Anyone working on a way to theme the Asus on screen keyboard? Would really like to since im using Tron theme with Adw and would love to have that type of glowing keys. Thanks in advance!!

u can try a different keyboard. swiftkey has a nice tron esque looking keyboard, also thumb keyboard has many diifferent themes for it.
Honestly, after buying thumb keyboard, I'm not sure I could live without it. Typing is so much faster..
It comes with themes though not sure if there's a tron one out there
Cool didn't know if they would work on the transformer will check it out. The only thing is I like the swype portion to type on the keyboard I have gotten spoiled with this ability. thanks

Thanx people i was looking for a keyboard replacement and just happened to come across this thread
I tried installing swype, but it wouldn't load the keyboard. Hope someone figures out how to make it work on the transformer

i got a modded version to work on the xoom, but the res was really bad and it was just too much finger dragging to be usable.
Here is the link that i found.
PLEASE THANK MY POST and let me know how its working...

Awesome bit of development, don't get me wrong. But is there any improvement that Samsung has brought to this skin vs stock honeycomb?
Yea...a good news!!! I'll try it for sure

Is the touchwiz basically a launcher replacement? Could it be added to the rom you are already running (Prime, for instance, etc...) if someone put it together that way?

No, TouchWiz Honeycomb is a vast improvement over stock Honeycomb.
Have a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGz-51qUH90. It's more than a Launcher.
Thank you for re-posting this, as MOD moved the last one to themes and apps when it is clearly a rom post. Just needs a proper DEV.

"i think im just going to pass this off to whoever wants to take it up. Ill help, but i just dont have the experience with tegra devices to do this port, nor the time to gain that experience. sorry for the tease "
We need a real dev with transformer experience here
I want to try this, but i'll wait until it has a few updates under its belt.
I just installed it for the fun of it .. neat
Tried it and quickly went back to prime+netformer.
Autorotation doesnt work so as wifi.
Though it looks pretty nice - great start, now we need dev volunteers to keep up the torch and continue with development
Mdj is working on it. Same as the one for the a500 (Virtuous Galaxy)
Problems:
- "Charging paused. Battery temperature too high or too low". Message appears all the time. The device is not charging and it is not even hot.
- Wifi not work
- Auto rotation not work
- Camera not work
I restored to the Prime 1.5 version, but Touchwiz looks much better. Hopefully someone will fix problems
Tried it, hated it, reverted back to Prime 1.4.
Omg jizzzz I want it but will have to wait.....

Interesting, doesn't look that much different to me but ill wait and see. I'm happy with prime 1.5 and netformer.
Guys thankxx for the comments.
Bad news the developer are not very happy and hes is thinking to pass it off.
Register on his page and comment and motives him to keep in touch.

Wifi works if you flash the Clemson kernel but you still get that charging paused message over and over

I would love a real dev to pick this up.
I'm looking for a good keyboard app for the Infinity. I really like FloatNSplit, but it's missing one special character, the degree symbol
I know it's a minor annoyance, but combined with the dock's seeming inability to produce any special characters at all, I thought it would be a good idea to start a conversation.
Any good recommendations out there?

I use Thumb Keyboard myself. Have not used it with a dock so not sure how that works. It seem to have everything...haven't used the degree symbol. I will check tonight to see if it is there.
Thumb keyboard. It doesnt have the degree symbol (or at least i cant find it), but im sure you can contact the developer and have them add it. It should be simple to just add to the key binding feature.
Thumb keyboard +1
Just checked the degree symbol (°) and you can add a key binding for it.

SwiftKey. It has the split keyboard feature in landscape mode (and numpad in the middle), very responsive.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
I personally like Swype but not so much for landscape although you can make it float which makes it possible to use with one thumb if it's flexible I'm going to try this thumb keyboard that everyone is talking about. Although I find the Swype super quick and responsive.

Thumb Keyboard +1
The best. I had to do a slight adjustment with font size because of the brilliant HD screen (and my eyes are getting bloody worse every day), but once that was done, great app.
I think SwiftKey is just the best for touch input. I've been using the ASUS Keyboard for the dock, mainly because of issues with the diacritics, but now with KLSwitcher this is solved. I think it's just fine with the dock now, tapping on the screen for auto-completion isn't very functional when using the physical keyboard, but apart from that everything works.
Hacker's Keyboard is ok for the term when not docked because of all the special chars, but typing is slow on this one.
You can see some of my thoughts on various keyboards for the Infinity in my apps thread.

I am using Smart Keyboard Pro on both my TF700T and my Galaxy S III. Have been using it for over a year - originally used it on my SGS2. It has skins and arrow keys to move the input cursor.
I just bought my infinity not long ago and I have been exploring here. I read some threads mentioning floating app and I am really interested in this. So far I come with:
1. OverSkreen - Browser
2. LilyPad - IM Client
3. Super Video - Player
4. Stick it - Player
5. AirTerm - Terminal
7. Floating Notes - Taking Notes
8. Floating Widget - Make Widgets Floating
9. hovernote - Taking Notes
Would you mind sharing your collection so that we have the best set of floating apps in our infinity? :highfive:
Thank you for everyone who contribute.
Hovernote - for taking notes

HoverNote
Floating Notes (Note Taking)
Floating Widgets (Makes Homescreen Widgets Float)
While not a floating app in itself, SwipePad (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.conduction.swipepad.android) is a nice utility for opening these apps within another app. I don't have my Infinity yet, but this works quite well on my phone

I believe moboplayer also has a floating video player function now, it should work great on the greater real estate of the Infinity
"Floating browser flux" is another very basic, but free, floating browser.

Love this list. Are there anymore? I'm looking for some pop up sticky note type of thing to record written notes on.
Hovernote should take care of that need - unless I'm misunderstanding the request...

I think he wants one that you can write on with a stylus. If that is the case, then there is not one that I know of.

Yes, that would be nice to have. I'm surprised that one hasn't been developed yet.
Do that many people really take handwritten notes on their tablets?? Especially with the Transformer series with the keyboard dock - typed in notes just seem so much more practical as they are searchable, etc.... I know that I, for one, can type a lot faster than I could write, especially on a tablet....

Hi!
I am the developer of Floating Notes and see some requests here: writing with a stylus, recording... If you have ideas how to make Floating Notes even better, just tell me.
If you have wishes of other floating apps, let me know via pm and i will look forward to realize them.

I use my Transformer extensively for handwritten notes. As an engineering student it's not practical taking notes with the keyboard at all due to a lot of visuals and equations. And get a good note taking app such as LectureNotes (which I've found to be the best) and there are options to add keywords for each of your pages and you can easily index ("search") the notebook for the content you need.
I use to go through ~50 sheets of paper that would ultimately end up in the recycle bin since it was all just scratch work, but now I do it all on my transformer.

I'm using AirCalc and it's pretty nice. There is also DarkCalc (I can't remember if this is on the play store or just posted here on xda by the dev) which has the normal calculator interface (takes whole screen) but has a button which pops it out to a floating window. They are both pretty much identical in functionality.
You should update the links in the first post. Floating Notes' link is dead. There is also an free version now.
I'm not good at putting stuff into the homepage and making it look nice
Can anyone tell me anyway to make it looks cool and to keep it full and not so plain looking
I also don't want any super memory hogs or battery drainers.
