Installation
Always Nandroid Backup First!!!
Simply flash the corresponding update.zip file from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery or Rom Manager over your CM6.1 rom. Reboot phone and allow to load up. Apply Pink Dream XML theme through CM Settings. Go into CM settings and change power widget color to #FFFF5BBB. Reboot once again and enjoy.
I'm sorry this has taken so long but I moved cross country a few months ago and was hard to find time to do any work on this for a while. I've recently had some progress though and hope to release a taste sometime tonight. The theme will differ some from the screen shots and will get some current screenshots when it's complete. I appreciate everyone's patience and hope you all are satisfied with what I have so far.

You say this is for CM6, but 6 doesn't have a theme setting, nor is it gingerbread. Confused.

I never said CM6 was gingerbread, and this is for CM6.1 which yes, it does have theme settings.

Thanks! I have been wanting to get her to CM 7 but she likes her pink theme too much so i have been waiting. The stable release is fine. I don't flash the nightlies on her phone. If i did i would end up coming home to her mad if something went wrong

At first I was like hmmmm then I saw your avatar and was like haaaaaa.

borks up when flashing gapps. dont have adb right now for a logcat

Working good, very fast.
I feel like it flashed in 30 seconds it was very fast.
Its unstable though, browser forcecloses and other stuff, but the rom is still working amazing considering that the sourcecode just became available a few hours ago!

change the homepage of the browser and it will not fc
wireless location s borked up so when google goes to search for your location is fc's the browser...

Which gapps do we use? Booted it up. Very fast and the screen off animation is pure sex

I get asked a lot "why don't you just create a theme" and here is my reasoning:
When I make a ROM I take all the apk files and zipalign them. I also run most of the apks through a PNG optimizer. If I take all the apks and throw them into a theme essentially you have most of the ROM. Plus I add and remove applications. So for me its best to just put out the entire ROM. Themes are great but they do not optimize the entire ROM which is what I try to do. So I hope this clears up my reasoning for doing ROMs instead of themes.

Some people report they can't get a lock on GPS with CM. This is a "fix" many have reported in various forums to work:
1 - Go to the Market and download the app: MSL Reader (not necessary if you have your MSL)
2 - Use this app to get your MSL # (mine was six digits)
3 - Download this rom and put it on your SD card root
4 - Do a nandroid backup of the CM rom you have loaded (if you do).
5 - One backup is done, wipe phone and flash to any Sense ROM. No need to do any set-ups, etc. Once it has loaded...
6 - Launch phone dialer and dial ##GPSCLRX# (##4772579#)
4 - Enter your MSL Number when asked
5 - Your phone will automatically reboot in 10 seconds
6 - After you're rebooted back into the Sense rom, go into recovery and restore your CM backup
7 - Hopefully this fixed your GPS!

It veries from dev to dev some have more skill than others so idk it depends on what zone did compared to cy. Check it out n see what u get from it. Zone is a good dev so i give him lots of props for jumping into crazy turf lol. This should be good to roll as rc2 was a awsome release by cm.

I'm gonna go ahead and chime in on this one.
The GPS does not show a icon in the notification bar like you are used to. The GPS does not need a continuously lock on the satellites while you sitting around the house. You should notice if you go into "Car Home" the GPS icon will appear and start to flash. Periodically the GPS should connect and find your location.
At least this is my understanding of how GPS works in Gingerbread. I may be wrong.
Maybe what CM should do is make the icon appear regardless of whether the GPS is actually doing something or not. Like all other ROMs do.

The difference in this and the CM stock ROM is I have change things like the check marks, the color to blue, the pop up menus, the wait animation, and the list goes on and on. Yes its an AOSP but in my opinion with everything I have changed it is very hard to tell. It looks like a Sense ROM but it isn't. Maybe I should put that in my first post.

Ive never ran an aosp rom yet but ive been hooked on all you roms so far so im thinking ill give it a go and try something new. I like the look of the riptide version with the wifi, and battery icons from the pure so i might try swapping them into the rip version. Are the difference between rip and pure just cosmetic?

Time for those "asian" lessons I took in college to start paying off.

GPS fixed. Browser fixed sd cards fixed. Thanks for the help man. Without my g2x today.

Any chance of getting the rom converted to English?
Only issue I.had was android.process fc but I didn't do a wipe but finally muiu on the g2x ... look forward to see further progress!

j/k, that was so inappropriate, but couldn't help myself.

I've ran it on my Vibrant along with Trigger, the interface and everything is aesthetically appealing! I'm running it right now... a couple of thing do not work but any apps i restored from TB are in English...... i like it personally and there are custom themes everywhere and fully customizable right down to the boot animation i believe. here is the official MIUI website if you want to look...

Hello everyone, it's me again! I have successfully ported "Shendo OS" to Galaxy 3, so I hope you all will like it! This is based on CM7 Alpha 8.2, so big thanks to marcellusbe for porting CM7. If you liked it, please consider donating. A "Thanks" would be nice also!
Note: I'm not responsible if you bricked your phone! This ROM is still unstable, there are still bugs to be fixed! As you can see, there are still some images to be fixed in the staus bar, settings, and etc. This may take some time, so please don't ask for ETAs! I also need some testers, so feel free to post the result!

Download Flashing Tools and learn how to flash (Guide)
Flash "Cyanogenmod 7 (CM7)" alpha 8 or up

How to update?
Skip step 2-3
If "Shendu Launcher" still force close, then try flashing Build 1, and then flash Build 2

Just flashed your rom and found 2 bugs. The status bar force closes when touch it. Also when you tap on the brightness in the settings menu, it force closes too.
