Hi everyone!
I have a question about the sound hardware of galaxy 3. Other samsung phones such as Galaxy s and Wave, that were released in spring-summer 2010 like G3, have a high-end Wolfson digital to analog converter (dac) chip called WM8994. It brings a better sound using the headphone output than other smartphones.
In fact, the Voodoo Sound project was made to develop the features of this dac, in the Galaxy S i9000. In gsmarena web, I've read the G3, SGS, and wave sound quality reviews and they have very similar results.
I've seen that many custom roms for G3 include voodoo sound. So, my question is:
Do G3 i5800/i5801 has the WM8994 dac?

Yeah we have the exact same one as on the galaxy s.

Hi
I am currently considering getting a Transformer Prime when they are released in the UK (was going to get a Galaxy Nexus, but the whole Volume issue has soured me) and I just wondered if there was a dock that just functioned as a charging dock etc?
I had one for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it was great for watching Movies when I was on a plane / train etc.
I just wondered if there was one available for the TF101, and such if I could expect one for the TF201?
Thanks
Stewart

I know this is off topic, but:

I think ASUS are making a charging dock. Not sure though

Hello... I have this website to choose a phone:
http://www.clarochile.cl/equipos?order=2
I dont think I could buy a Motorola ATRIX or an iPhone 4S xDDD... but I would like to receive some suggestions about mid-range phones. Something about Galaxy Ace or something.
I don't like very rounded phones... but if its worth it, i don't mind. I want it to be configurable, like to 'play' with it... install ROMS and stuff. Speed, etc... things that anyone like. I know it can't be a speed monster cuz of the price, but, try to say the best option among these, please.
Thanks and sorry for my english if its wrong xd.
LG Optimus 2X P990
I've heard this is a good one, $ 329,900
or maybe Samsung i9100 Galaxy S II
Nothing rounded, maybe Xperia Arc? Maybe the best mid range phone, with a sexy design and lot of development.

what phone should i buy?
You want to install custom roms so choose a phone that gets a lot of attention from devs.
Check out this site and the types of phones that have a lot of devs working on custom roms .That would be your best bet.
I honestly wouldn't do this if I didn't think it was great. Its literally the best music player that has come to the market in my opinion.
Not only does it sound cues for you to set up a custom equalizer to tailor your ears but the UI is nice and simple.
Unfortunately the equalizer is just a few bands and no other options.
But.. you can use a equalizer app like I do to make it sound better.
Why would I nominate this app?
Because it custom tailors the equalizer to your ears hearing from sound cues. One of the best features and music app should include from now on.

The music app is brand new to the market, its called Soundbest lite, they have a pro with widget support etc. So expect more features.
I promise you'll love it.
Note : this will pretty much only run on roms with I believe 2.3+ audio enhancement. I am using a modified version or Rocko's 3172012 beat audio enhancement that works.
If you want the .zip of the beats file I have please let me know.

Hey everyone,
Has anyone found a way to get music apps like Google Play Music or Pandora to display music controls on the lock screen with the Note Pro 12.2? That's a fundamental built-in feature to KitKat, and all of Samsung's phones running KitKat have the feature, as do the Galaxy Tab series. It surprises me that the Note Pro can't do this. Am I missing something here?
I wanted to know that too!! When playing music lockscreen wallpaper should also change to music cover but it doesn't!!
Yeah. That's really strange and really dumb

Well, N7 does this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And stock does this:
So you'd have to bother the developer about it. Seeings as how a different 3rd party app can do it.
I hate the lack of lock screen widgets, though.

We need the original AOSP lockscreen. There was a Xposed modul, but it is dead.
How do you think the All-View Display of Honor View20?

It's not the best display when it comes to the viewing experience, but still a great display.
The punch hole is way better than the traditional notch.
Not the best display for sure. But not bad in anyway. I only say this by the way because I've used a Samsung galaxy S8 for last 14 months or so. Now Samsung makes the best displays period. So coming from one of theirs to another will be a slight downgrade. However the v20 still has an excellent panel. Very good!
