Following the popular franco.Kernel series I present you the new .35 tree based kernel for the 2.3.3 from LG and for the CM testing releases from mik.
(Because people keep flashing this **** with the wrong roms and come here crying "HALP" enjoy the big letter warning)
This kernel is not for 2.2 roms and I will laugh at you if you flash it together with 2.2. Not either will it work on miks 6.5.8 nor void forever...
franco.Kernel facebook group page: https://www.facebook.com/franco.Kernel
Features & Changelog
#4
* Added 652, 672, 691, 710 cpu frequencies
* Doubled busses frequencies - system will go faster but you'll possible lose some overclocking capabilities. Busses frequency OC > cpu OC.
* Added and tweaked Simple IO scheduler as it proved to be the fastest one for this device
* Added tun.ko and cifs.ko
* Added camera flicker bug fix
* Cleaned up some more debug ****
* One or two small tweaks

This is a complete re-written kernel from scratch featuring all the performance and battery patches from the last version plus a lot of new code.
The changes are all in my github so I don't need to list them here. I need you guys to test the kernel and tell me what is working and what is not working, which bugs do you find, if the performance is good, if battery is good etc etc. I don't want posts like "BLUETOOH HANDS FREE DOESN'T WORK FIX PLX" or "WAHT IS THE BAST GOVERNOR AND OC HALP PLOX" I want informative posts about your conclusions, if it kernel paniced what is your environment, your OC, your governor... stupid and non helpful posts will be ignored. If you want a good kernel, do you job as an user and help me too.

Take note of this, I don't care nor will pay attention if you say you're having battery drain if: you flashed the kernel sooner than 24hours of your complain post, if you didn't wipe your cache partition before or after flashing it, or if you didn't wipe your battery stats. If any of these three conditions are met at the time of your posting I will simply ignore it.

thx franco.
downloading....
Rotation not fixed...not a huge problem anyways. Thanks

Flashed it, seems stable at 710Mhz (which is the maximum my phone can get). Neocore [email protected]/Smartass running on official 2.3.3. That is 10FPS higher than stock kernel and 2 fps higher than stock OC'[email protected] stock kernel.
Will test further and post.
Neocore 55.1 [email protected] 806 MHz running on void forever

As Franco said in the other topic, these drivers are not in the kernel but integrated in roms so we have to wait for mik, andy or Noejn to update their roms

Has any got a working download link for this ROM? Gaboros? all the links are broken. Or the original factory 2.2 or ICS firmware for the JXD5100 will do, the links on their website are also broken.
Thanks.

JellyBean experience at its best
Everything you love about Hyperion and JellyBean — the gorgeous UI , fast and fluid performance, battery life — is everything you’ll love about the new Hyperion, too. And you can have the best of both it in one ROM.A rom worthy of all Galaxy Y
Fast performance, superb stability, mouth watering UI, useful features — It's something for everyone. And Everything!Incredible performanceKnown for its fast, fluid performance, Hyperion doesn’t disappoint. It features 23 powerful and power-efficient CPU governors and 4 I/O Scheduler, which makes everything you do feel smooth and natural.Hyperion wouldn’t be Hyperion without incredible battery life. Even with so much performance packed into such a small space, it still lasts up to 2 days on a single charge*. So you can read, watch, play, write, and create whatever you want, as long as you want.
*battery life based on moderate usage with all radios turned on at default policy settingsA humble request . . .
At last, sleepless night are over!

Features and Changelog
Hyperion 8 highlights - Pre GM buildTotal ear-gasm: ALSA (AlsaProject) + Beats Audio Engine v2
We combined and tuned up two sound engines for superb sound quality when listening to music. This time, sound enhancements are activated at startup without the use of DSP Manager. What does that mean? No more force close when you connect/disconnect mass storage mode on PC. Mouth watering pixel goodness
Like JellyBean looks but sluggish like old granny? Worry no more! Hyperion 8 combines JellyBean UI and transparency into a piece of art. We don't simply take frameworks, systemUI and put it in a blender. We make sure we put "what belongs together".Project butter Hyperion style
We combined all the best tweaks out there for a superb super smooth UI. Others would say "No! That's not real! Project butter is JB only", yes that is correct if you can't read between the lines More juice more fun!
We hate running out of juice as much as you do, so we made sure you can get the most of your battery. We put 23 CPU governors and 5 IO schedulers to tame that nasty CPU! And with deep sleep? Your phone will get more sleep than you do! -well at least for me this is a true statement FeaturesBasic - all custom roms must have
De-Odexed
Zipaligned
Recompressed APKS
Optimized APK Images
Rooted
BusyBox and BusyBox run-parts support
Apps2SD enabled
Common - though not working in other roms
15 Toggle Notification Drawer
6 Lockscreens from Gingerbread AOSP/CM with custom app starter and gesture unlock
Status bar Tweaks + TEAM battery bar
4-way Reboot Options
Expanded Power Menu (because themers and mods crash systemUI most of the time, we need other ways of rebooting)
Unique - not all custom roms have
No SMS Bug
No false Android version
No useless features
Least branding (Like creed parts or cod parts or whatever. We don't like that. It's your phone, not ours)
Advanced
EXT4 File System Support
CIFS
Swap Support
BaCeM Tweak
UnderVolt Support
Firewall Support (DroidWall Open-Source Project)
Ad-blocking host file
Plus - only Hyperion
Supercharged Hyperion Core v2 with Adrenaline Engine v4.4
Transparent JellyBean user interface
Ear-gasmic sound quality
Integrated Autostart manager, Firewall and Network Unlocker
Modular system structure
System Replacer
Experimental
Force GPU Rendering - Force use of GPU for 2D rendering
Disable HW overlays - Always use GPU for screen compositing
Allow purging of assets - Purging of bitmap memory assets allows freeing of more RAM when needed (you can now get as low as 85-90mb used RAM)
32bit transparency - Better graphics performance and full transparency support
NOTE:
These features may work or do nothing. Most of them are pre-activated and some are integrated since Hyperion 7 GM

Version 1.7.0- 26 of Aug, 2016
Version 1.4.0- 29 of July, 2016
Sprint 1.80 base version
Features:
- Button Light Notification (see video below, only works if Ambient Display is not active)
- Notification double vibration pattern detection based Button Light Notifications (works now even while charging!)
- "Endless BLN while charging" + "Notification vibration length based two types of blinking pattern for BLN" features
- KCAL Color Control (see video below, credit to @savoca)
- Fingerprint doubletap sleep (see video below)
- Gradient battery charging led turning from amber to green based on battery level percentage, then at full charge it starts to smoothly change from full bright green to golden and the back to full green cycling, signalling 100% battery for easy spotting
- Fading notification led fading/pulsating type notification LED blinking
- Upper grill RGB LED light brightness level you can lower the brightness level of the upper grill RGB led now (use ICE configurator/LeeDroid tweaks latest version to config!)
- Adrenoboost version 2.2 - smooth gaming, battery friendly, fixing GPU handling of stock HTC kernel -- battery friendly conservative governor. Three levels (1 is the most battery friendly), and off state. ICE configurator / LeeDroid settings should handle it soon (thanks @flar2 for the original idea)
- Fastcharge for USB 2.0 -- PC's, Laptop's will now be able to charge your phone (bumping 0.5A draw to 1A from USB2.0 port, retaining the data connection all working)
- Backlight dimmer not on by default, check second post for sysfs paths for your scripts, or use ICE configurator/LeeDroid tweaker - Full credits to @flar2
- Sweep2sleep Full credits to @flar2
- DriveDroid support - Mounting of ISO (ReadOnly/ReadWrite) images to your PC for storage or booting them on PC
- Sound Control Headphone Gain Full credits to @flar2
- NTFS/ReadWrite
- Sony HID input device support (thanks @flar2)
- Wifi Wakelock reduction patch by @buckmarble
- Supporting 1.30 and 1.5x, 1.80 bases. Tested on EU 1.30/tw 1.55 bases/1.80/1.90 basses.
- Hacked texfat/modcrypto loading for all ROM bases to work with sdcard
- doesn't modify system partition. Androidpay should work on phones with stock system image
Facts:
- no root required except if you need it for tweak apps, otherwise only twrp
- recommended tweak app: ice configurator by Baadnewz if you want to set fingerprint double tap sleep and bln parameters (very useful and detailed settings), and trickster mod but only required for tcp congestion settings. But the default settings should be fine for most users, no need to set up, except install kernel and profit
- built from htcdev sources released for base Sprint 1.80.651.1
- build with standard toolchain
- kept stable, no tweakings, just features
- stable and reliable, keeping close to stock except addition of Usability features
ButtonLightNotif
BLN only will appear if your phone is screen off, and not being charged (or you use a custom ROM with notifications led while charging). Once you switch screen on the BLN will go off, till next new notification arrives while screen is off.
BLN is not working with ambient display mod, as that turns screen on instantly.
Doubletap Fingerprint scanner to sleep:
Gradient charging LED and pulsating notification LED video:
Chromatic gradient colors for battery percentages, check attached img
Adrenoboost v2.2 framerate level boosts (sampled in Suicide Squad):
Requirements
- Unlocked HTC 10 with TWRP
-- Please report back! I don't have sprint device!
- BACKUP: make sure you backed up your original Boot partition in TWRP, before installing this!
- INSTALL: Side load, or install the zip from your sdcard through TWRP
Known bugs:
- None, please tell
- Smaller issue: when using fingerprint mod, and you quickly switch the screen on, and after wrong fingerprints pattern should appear, it only works when starting from a screen off state.

it's already in the kernel by HTC. Just use e.g. ICE configurator, Kernel tab, or other tweak apps

Does this include the home button?
You see, on BadBoyz, if I disable vibration, the home button doesn't vibrate.
However, after flashing this kernel, the vibration of the home button returns, yet does not touch the other vibrations.

for this you can use the ICE configurator, Home button vibration strength to finetune it.
Because of how the doubletap fingerprint sleep works in cleanslate kernel, this is how it could be resolved.

Running this on BadBoyz ROM and working great! Love the notification light and everything seems smoother. Been using the 2nd highest GPU booster and battery life is actually fine. What governor do you recommend?

I use the ROM daily basis and haven't noticed these problems
I installed this firmware, but when charging, the phone heats up and 30% of the charge has flowed away overnight. It is not clear what the matter is. There may be something wrong with the kernel.
