Yes, it works. But not 100% , some layout issues are still there.

It works...Tested it but the icons and widget needs fixing for Note on home screens. If you add 5 rows, it overlaps the dock icons. I tried de-compiling the file but it is throwing error on decompiling

Thanks Smando. Its xhdpi and I tried the 5x5 version from your sg2 thread but it is still showing 4x4 in note.

Does this version has 5x5 grid?
Thats how my G Note screen looks like with Touchwiz & S Suggest app works so u dont need S Choice.

Do I need to delete original TWlancher to install this Launcher2 ?
Also installed it, works flawless, and looks like the one for ISC I9220 which i was lookinf for for long time.
However anyone any idea how to rescale? because obviously its set to 4x4 which makes some widgets unable to come out properly.

No need to flash through CWM. Copy the apk to system/app and the so file to system/lib and you are ready to go.

Where did you get Widget Climate ? I don't have that widget after installing the zip file in this thread. I'm refering to the acuweather widget in your snapshot. EDIT : I have found it in this thread already.

Hi all,
Is it possible to run touchwiz 3 on the value pack roms? What files have to be ported in order for that to work? As you all know TW4 on value pack roms is laggy, and as far as stock launcher is concerned, TW3 seems like the better choice.

Should be easy afaik. Just replace twlauncher 4 from system/app with tw launcher 3. That should do the trick.
To be safe take a nandroid backup before doing anything.

Finally for all those of you who are not running ICS or JB roms who are stuck on GB(2.3+) bcuz of not owning a popular phone or lack of developmental support due to which you never got to taste the original TW5 UX launcher. Stop worrying I have finally ported the original TW5 UX launcher for Gingerbread roms.
Before you do anything let me ask you to take this matter with a pinch of salt i.e for now it only works with a minimum of 480×320p screens, and doesn't work with 240×320 resolution screens, I'm so sorry but I'll defineatly come up with a better update.
Any bugs found keep em coming.

YOU ported this right? Because taking this APK apart it was made my a developer called SkyMobi. It was also signed off in China... I can keep looking and find the original for you. Also if it were from the Galaxy S Duos it would be signed off from a Samsung Firmware code... However I hope I am wrong

Since my s3 using 6x7.. i love to see my note use 7x8.. would be interesting to know how u decompile it.. im used apk manager to decompile but it give me error... i know how to decompile apk, but system apk is absolutely different.. thanks a lot.. im using ur rom..

Verry Cool, but in Landscape the Icons in App-Drawer wont rearrange correctly (always a few missing...)

You can try the TW launcher designed by tkari4 for his 240 dpi Rom here:

I have extracted and placed the launcher for downloading on skydrive. The link is:

Please push the launcher in the relevant system/preload folder and change the permissions to rw-r-r (644). Please don't forget to backup your existing TW launcher apk file, in case something goes wrong.
