I am trying to create a second partition for my LG P500. I have tried all four : ext2,3,4,FAT32 through Partition manager & CWM Recovery.
but whenever i am opening Link2SD there is a prompt saying select which partition i am using. whatever i am selecting ext2/FAT there is an error:
Mount Script error, Device or Resource busy.
Now i have deleted the partition and using the ROM without any 2nd partition.
Is there anything i can do more.
( If this is discussed in any other thread please paste the link please )

So after selecting my sd card's 2nd partition
in link2sd, I get "mount script error - invalid argument".I am not sure if thats the problem but I think this started happening after purchasing Foldermount Pro (which requires to save a txt file).Firstly this problem appeared only after rebooting the phone and could fix it by creating new partitions in sd. But now link2sd gets always this error. So what is happening?

Guys when i try to partition sd card using twrp I get a message saying "Unable to create ext partition" and then "unable to mount ext-partiton". Is it a bug of the twrp ?

its weird did u try in other recoveries..
twrp has some problems but didnt had this kind of problems..

i too am having the same problem i have samsung class 10 16gb memory card and me too is facing the same problem i m fed up of this issue
when i try to partition with twrp on my moto e it shows unable to create ext3 partition and when i use mini tool wizard for partition
the ext3 partition shows its is full whole capacity is used and 0Bytes is left

Am using Samsung S duos gt-S7562. Rooted using PMP Ultra 6.0.0 Rom. Kernal 3.0.8-kyleopen -oc-v1. I tried to partition sd card in phone by using Aparted, Rom manager, also in Recovery, the partition is got created but its not working in Link2sd. When i try to add the sd partition via Recreate mount scripts (On first off the app runs also giving the same error) and choosing ext2, mount script error is showing. Mount script cannot be created.
mount: Device or resource busy.
ext2 may not be supported on your device. Try FAT32 on Second partition.
I also tried FAT32 as same error is Showing Mount script cannot be created mount: Invalid argument. Please help me.

I am using lenovo p780 8gb. while flashing custom rom using twrp it said rom installed and will reboot now. phone was stuck in the boot screen. so again i rebooted to twrp and tried to do a wipe to re-install my previous rom. it gave me this error "E: unable to mount \data".
when i tried to install the rom over it, it gave me the above error as well as "E: unable to mount internal storage. Now i did some research and tried to flash using sp flash tools with a stock rom but phone is not getting recognised by the flash tools. I have all the usb driver and have used flash tools before when my phone was working. i also tried to use some terminal commands,which i found in one of the threads. but it said that directory did not exist. file system is ext4. in file explorer internal storage is showing as 0mb. also i tried to repair option. system has 754mb out of which 99mb is free and preload has 196mb out of which 192mb is free. data is 0mb and when i click internal storage for repair it says invalid partition selected. again i wiped system, now only 12mb out of 754mb is used. please help me . can my phone be recovered?twrp version is 2.7.1.1
and i had life xvibe v09 working before i flashed with samsung ui rom.

I cannot install anymore applications. I got an error "Can't install app - insufficient storage available".
I lack place on my device, so I move app as much as I can to the External card using AParted and Link2SD.
I found out that every time I want to link to SD card with Link2SD I got a warning: "NOT MOUNTED - /data/sdext2 mount not found"
When Link2SD starts, it opens a window asking to select my SD card's second partition from the following list: ext2, ext3, ext4 (the others are irrelevant). Whatever I choose I get an Mount script error "Mount script cannot be created. Mount invalid argument".
I checked the Storage Info (using the Link2SD app), and found that all the "partitions" - like Internal, SDcard, External SD, System and Cache - have some data and the percentage of free place - except "SD Card 2nd Partition" that remains empty. There is even a label that says "NOT MOUNTED".
I searched my phone trying to find the "sdext2" to mount it (how do I do it?) - but I couldn't find it. This is an CATCH 22 situation :laugh: I cannot download and install app but I can continue to use my phone with a lot of app removed!
Is there a way to delete the /data/ext2?
is there a way to mount the ext2?
How can I repair it?
Somebody with some help?! Please, don't recommend me to use the frightened FACTORY RESET - I had enough of this solution!

Do you have root explorer set and mount R/W set correctly?
Are you sure you followed instructions to setup Link2SD correctly?
