Cyanmobile rev A and maybe its our sd card bro, im having problems with it too, like the lag in Fitdroid and i thinks its my sd.

Move dalvik cache back to phone memory...that is the primary culprit...
Sent from my g-fit using xda premium

i moved it and I'm getting the low disk space annoying thing is there any way to disable it without removing some apps
Sent from my GT-S5670 using xda premium

Now i'm on fitdroid and it became so heavy and laggy i know it's the sd issue but anyways i want to return to app2sd how to remove the memory hack please!?

If you not installed a script before, you do not have what delete. Flash script to A2SD in CWM, but first go to mount / system.

- Download the attached .zip called s95allinonescript_flashable.zip, put it to your sd-card and mount system flash it in CMW
- If this don´t work and in CWM error 0 appears download s95allinone.zip, extract it and use RootExplorer to put it in /system/etc/init.d/
- You can delete all existing files in this folder, i included in this script every other and combined them to a "superscript"

Okay noobie question- what is init.d script and does ddkq5 support it??
Init is the short form of initialization which spawns all other processes and all the scripts. Are stored. And initializes from there yes ddkq5 supports it
how about fitdroid? is that supported?

8GB SDCard

ok, so i only have 8gb sdcard on my phone and running creed's rom v1.7.2
the question is, is it normal to take about 1 or 2 mins to read the SDCard contents when i turn it on?
is there anything i can do to lessen it?
thanks for the reply...

the first scan after reboot takes time...after that, all scans should take considerably less time...

Yes even I have a 8GB class 4 memory card and it takes abt 2- 3 minutes to scan it.
There are apps that are able to increase the read speed of your sd.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sdincrease.it&hl=en
Or you can use the app rescan media to disable media scanning at boot to save time.

try getting a better memory card. always go for class 6 or class 10 instead of class 4 in the future.
avoid keeping both zips and extracted forms of the same material.
clean up the memory card.
delete all empty folders
delete all the files in lost.dir folder.
try organizing all your music/videos in proper folders.
thanks for all the response, ill them in mind.
how would i know what class my SDCard belongs to though?

take out the card...on it, there will be a "C" printed with a no. in it...that's the class (afaik)...
It's usually written inside a circle underneath the manufacturer's logo like in this image

listn yar the thing is after reboot its usual...evn on samsung galaxy s2 it wil take same tym...howevr i suggest u to use mem card xclusively made by samsung....they have quite good speed i think as m using 1...
fact is after 15-20 mins ur phone wil b gud in same situation...
may b i hlpd u....
the card provided by samsung has a capacity of just 2GB.
It takes that much to initialize a 8GB card, because the phone is designed for smaller SDcards. 2Gb is what I've received with my phone. CPU armv6 is slow.
moved from 4GB class 4 to 16GB class 10 and it's only gotten faster....
Then it is all about the card?
yeah i have 32 gb of sd card of sandisk......and it requires 5 mins to read.... 30 gb full !!

no nothing happens to the apps if you move everything to ext
it just gets little slow
so the apps you use commonly, keep them on internal memory or just link the app
Sent from my GT-S5670 using xda premium
Try using Amarullz(sorry if mis-spelled) app2sd script.
U might know that it makes entire sd-ext partition as /data but performance depends on ur SD speed.
But take back up first:laugh: coz I'm yet to try it on stock but on cm7, it works 100%
Sent Via G*ift & XDA™ Premium
Is there any advantage of this script over link2sd ?
After all apps will be stored in the ext partition itself

u can try move2sdenabler.apk or from the play store try move 2 sd enabler....it solves most of the probs...me and wilfred have apps installed upto 7 screens buthave 70 mb or so free
I have partitioned my SDcard recently and tried all the different types of mods/apps/scripts, and for me Cronmod works the best.
No need of linking,moving,etc..its really fast and reliable. Also it shows your partition as internal memory
