Installation:
- Make sure you're running the latest 4Ext or CWM Recovery
- Download the zip from the link
- Copy it to sdcard
- Reboot to recovery
- Backup your current rom
- Wipe data / factory reset (at 4ext format all except sd is even better)
- Choose flash zip from sdcard
- Choose the zip and confirm flashing
Optional (weather in ROMControl won't work without it):
- flash gapps package
- reboot
- enjoy
Update:
- Wipe cache/dalvik cache
- Flash rom

Latest:
When upgrading cache/dalvik wipe should be enough, if you face issues, pls try a clean install before reporting them.
If your facing issues at the music app, not showing all your titles download and execute rescan media root (free).

First i fix what is missing, afterwards i will take a look at additional things like themes
Can make a banner, but i'm not that handy with coloring and stuff like that, maybe someone else comes up who does it, if not i will for sure make one (even if it will sure be ugly^^).

The one by blindndumb are ports... from AOKP ROMs for other phones. Inc S and Nexus S
This one is built right from source.... specifically for the Desire S.

One is called build and therefore build from actual source code
They other is called a port and is ported from another devices build

In some ways, yes. This is built specifically for the Desire S so it will have all the stuff working as CM9. Also, we may even start getting official builds if the AOKP DEVs like this.

- This is latest Semi-Functional MIUI v4 version ported by lenny_kano & proxuser.
- This rom has some bugs, many from MIUI because MIUI v4 ICS is not finished yet and some bugs from kernel.

miui4 is not finished yet. this rom is based on latest miui4 beta
for german language i cant say anything, miui-germany should do it next weeks..
I hope they finished it soon
maybe its time to move it into the development section
one question i would like to ask is that why does it say "2.1.13", isn't this one of the latest builds from MIUI GB? or am i wrong

AOKP (correct me if I'm wrong) has more experimental tweaks (almost like cm7 nightlies) then CM9 (when released) will be the FULL 100% Stable.

The CM Team is being very anal with there Kernels. Also, AOSP(CM/Kang) are missing the camera for our device :3
He could be a kang maintainer, but it'd have to be 100% CM.

It seems pretty bad that the only three cross-device ROMs are CM, MIUI, and Virtuous.

BUGS/ISSUES/FIXES
Bugs: I have tested this rom over a few days and for my use i found nothing major.
Common known Aokp niggles & Minor bugs:
Word suggestion / dictionary **FIXED in V2**
*New - Voice search closes when it detects noise.
V2 only - PlayStore - Apps not downloading. Fix = Install JellyBean Market - Link in Download section.
Or
Set up Tf101 on V1 & then NO WIPE & flash V2
Updates to the rom are at Chevycams discretion - as soon as i get them i'll post them up - no eta's please
If you manage to fix something then post it up or if you can, create a patch zip for cwr.
If something you need doesnt work for you then please use a rom that does and do not whine lol :crying:

If I can get specific instances of bugs I'm willing to help work them out and maybe put out some patches for this, if the ROM gathers any popularity. I'd say it's really good though for stability already.

Awesome ROM I've been on AR-Revolver-Megatron-Gummy and this is by far the best I've tried

Very fast and great looking! I haven't flashed Harmony yet but I'm sure it would provide a good experience as well. I'll run this through the gambit tomorrow and see about its stability
Flashed this from ARHD and noticed the following:
1. Exchange email app not included
2. Using Harmony rev3 kernel, tablet doesn't go to deep sleep and stays at 312 mHz as per cpuspy.
3. It goes to deep sleep when using Guevor's aokp kernel.
So far no bugs encountered. Will keep on observing.

After flashing this rom, my TF101 just stuck at the boot screen. What did I do wrong?
Full wipe before flashing?
It takes a few seconds for the boot animation to kick in......try again and leave it or eedownload the file as it could be a bad download.

I did a full wipe before flashing the rom. Thw boot animation just keep on recycling.

AOSP 4.0.4 IMM76L by broodplank1337

I'm very happy to release the first alpha build of AOSP IMM76L for Samsung Galaxy S Plus (GT-i9001). Most of you probably know that i've been busy with compiling AOSP for a long time now, and I finally succeeded to compile it by using a very wrong and lame way (tut will come later). Anyways the build is running very stable so far and the performance is very neat. Currently some CM9 sources are copied to the AOSP build to make it working correctly, all the apps (except Phone.apk) are compiled from original AOSP source, I use the framework files from CM9 (Ivendor) but downgraded to get the AOSP wanted result.
I've included a stock kernel based on Arco's i9001 kernel, I've replaced interactive with smartassV2 and added SIO, these 2 are the default choices for the kernel/rom. The kernel is compiled with Linaro toolchain for best performance.

Finally we got ourselfs an AOSP Stock ROM to modify ! Please give me as much feedback as possible, so I can improve the ROM!

Make sure you use CWM5 or CWM6. (important!)

- Wipe data and cache. (if coming from samsung rom, if you're using CM9 you may only wipe cache)

- Flash update-Gapps-ICS-20712.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to AOSP 4.0.4 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.

p.s: i think bugs are same as cm7.2 alpha since its a ported rom and the chngelog given is the offcial chngelog of gingerdx not the chngelog for our g3.

Those aren't screenies from our device. U can see that from ABOUT PHONE screenshot that it mentions M76xxxx....certainly not our device!
If camera is Fully working ,dus dat mean u have solved the preview and video recording bug of cm7

I think, bug list is similar to cm7.2, video camera won't work for rhe moment. But I sincerely wish that I am wrong!

Buglist is same .....but yes all the features of the ROM works nicelywhich are listed above .....

yes those are not the screenshots from our device instead it is the screenshots from the original thread in X8 forum..

Sorry buddy's but the camera bug is still there......as abhijeet says Buglist is same as CM7.2 ...
neways i was witing for trying something new..... and my exams even got over today....so happy to see this stuff. nd this roms gonna be interesting since it has may mods and ics layouts inbuilt.... BTW wats the status of ur connection bro? can u be able to upload it todaY?

This rom is not a ported one.. i had compiled it with sources and i had added only mdpi support because i had mobile last week and absorbed it..
Mdpi is perfect for this mobile
Actually it was compiled a 2 days back that is on 3/12/2012.. but really i dont have time to go on to post ( we had allover the permissions to compile it according to the persons at credits block )
This rom is totally tested and then now its getting posted here so it is light and better performance than the roms that i had already provided

How to flash :
1. Download the rom from the above link
2. Copy to sdcard
3. Move on to recovery now
4. Select the file to be flashed
5. After the flashing completed
6. Wipe factory reset

2. video lags are fixed.. now you can play all most all formats that was played with your froyo and eclair
3. added download mode as well i had left the boot loader
so both of them works now
4. removed all the unused stuff
5. proximity drivers are well modified
6. no more force closes with any app or options
7. wifi threading option now works perfect without any lag or blob blob
8. added g3 mode settings
i had lot more changes really not yet remembered but almost a stable version
next only missed part of mobile is camera by now ... i will try all my level best to fix it
thanks for official support and this make to find few keys of this to finish up as stable
from next version i will provide my kernel if you like ( i like to tweak the kernel )

and your first question is what happened to cyan
i am still building lol with updated bunch of errors so it will be there with in 2 weeks ( since i had mobile last week so now the rom gingerdx is possible-d for g3)
As per the test the rom is perfect only left bug is cam now i am going to handle it
The reason for the late is i am working on my p350 for ics now we successfully completed it as stable here so g3 development get slowed here

Delete phone.apk. from above rom and replace this phone.apk with permission r w r r and reboot.

unfortunately i messed this with msm7 board of audio now i recompiled and fixed all those
and some asked me that i am really compiling or not so some pics when i am compiling and i dont like to involve him
EDIT: I am now providing this with odex too have a fun
