Did you use your SIM card from your Atrix? I'm thinking about doing it since I have an iPhone 2g laying around, but I'm not sure if it'll work with my SIM card that already has a data plan.
But I'm still waiting to see if I even use all of the data I can. There is no point in spending an extra $5/month on something I don't need.

I was grandfathered in from an iPhone plan. Yay me

the iphone 2g is the only phone that will force att to give you unlimited internet. but back in January att said they will allow all prior att iphone customers to get unlimited back on there contract (provided it is the same number/contract) had they removed the feature at any time.
so I'm pretty glad I had an iphone. even if I had to deal with all the bs like no mms, no tethering unless it was jail broken, no video, crappy camera that didn't work indoors or if it was cloudy without a tripod. wow that phone sucked for the first couple years. but I'm glad I had it.

This is interesting.
Now to try and get my hands on an iPhone.

Might I suggest that you instead send him your SIM? Much less chance of something bad happening to an expensive (and still somewhat useful) bit of technology that way

Grandfathered in as well to the old unlimited data gotta love it

Yep, I did this back in April just to see if it worked.
edit... yes it worked. Just be persistent when you call the rep and let them know exactly which plan it will be. (in the event that they try and tell you it doesn't exist.)

I'm good now... Hooked up, got unlimited days now

Same here... I found one for 40$ with a cracked screen on my local craigslist... Thing is local is 2 hours of driving to get the phone and the seller doesn't want to ship it...
Some people on the original post say they can do it for you... kind of skeptical but yet at the same time, interested in it...

I'll help you out...
I found one that is $50... and you can return it too after 3 days so if it turns out it can't work you can get a refund (and even it does work you can refund it too)....

Anybody interested in a g2x with no screen bleeding? :-)

So after much debating I decided to finally get rid of my g2x since I've been using the sensation more and more. I was planning on selling it about a week ago but the vibration motor died out on me. Today I finally received my replacement from tmobile and to my big surprise the one I got has no light bleeding at all!! So I figured I would post it here right away before posting it on ebay seeing as pretty much everyone has been complaining about the issue.
I will upload some pictures later since im using the phone app right now. I still have the original box and everything that came with it plus two cases that ill throw in there for free.

Yeah I would pay $200-250 for an extra G2x but no more really. It would be tempting at that price
I've been thinking about getting a backup one for a while now. *hint hint*

I bought mine on eBay for $255 plus shipping in excellent condition. The ones that were in mint condition only went for slightly (maybe $20) more. $300 would be the ultimate top end if you got super lucky.

I pretty much said $320 for negotiation purposes lol. Probably will end up going for around $300

Well I saw his post and figured I had two options make my own which would still be a form of hijacking...his then mine and if I undercut in mine I'd be screwing him... Or just post in his let him know my intent is to not compete but be equal so that they can both go. Thought it was the more mature approach. However it's always easy to see maturity doesn't go far on xda.

I honestly don't mind lol if people think you're giving them a better deal then that's their opinion and there's nothing I can do about it. Also if mine doesn't sell over here it'll sell on ebay or craigslist so I'm really not that worried about it

If you ordered it online you can return to any AT&T corporate store, as long as you ordered it from att.com, and avoid a restocking fee within 30 days.

Its kind of weird that it went to my girlfriend's address.
My mom bought it for my birthday, I used it for about a year, then let my girlfriend use it for a while, then I was using it for a few months up until I got my Nexus 5.

Instead of $19 per litigant, LG should have provided ICS and we would be happy with that but the lawyers must be paid their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ so they settled for the cash to get their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$... Lawyers get the most $ out of any class-action lawsuit which is why class-action lawsuits are a farce.

I bought mine used, and I got the postcard.
I'm pretty sure T-Mobile is able to see what phone is being used on their network.
Oh well, 19 bucks is 19 bucks

I got my post card yesterday.
$19 is a ridiculuos amount. but something is better than nothing. Submitted my online claim today.

You don't need to have a claim form to get the money,go to LGPhoneSettlement.com to file a claim. I might get $28 because I had a replacement a few months after buying one.

I heard we get an additional $19 for each replacement phone too.. Which is nice since I got like 5

It is very mysterious how they knew what addresses to send them to.
The address I'm currently living at has never been on my t-mobile account. They're obviously pulling public records searches based on both purchase and usage data from T-Mobile.

I bought mine new from an eBay dealer and I also got one replacement from that dealer. The letter says that you have to had bought your phone from T-Mobile in order to get your $19 and that you might have to submit proof of this. I think it's just a load of BS on LG's part.

yup got this post card too. I wonder is this legit or its scam for info? Im glad I got rid of that pos phone waiting and waiting for LG to release ICS and the same goes for Samsung Galaxy. Both phones were flagship but they pulled plug on them so quick

I got this as well and got rid of the g2x a few months after release. Thou i think they sent it out to all T-Mobile customers because my mom got one and she never owned a g2x.

There was a black one at our local AT&T store; actually almost headed out the door now to see if it's still there. My wife wants an iPhone 5c as we finally complete the trek to Smartphoneville

I actually wet mine a couple days ago and went to best buy and costco and neither had the white one. At my ATT store, though, thry do have the white one. Unfortunately, ATT still wants $199 for it and they won't price match Costco ($29.99) so i ended up with another black one

Got mine at Microcenter for .99. They had white and black.
