Low resolution contact pictures when syncing with Facebook. This especially occurs when using a stock or cyanogen mod build. HTC sense builds have good res pics when syncing...
Any possible fix? Its bugging me and seems like a fairly simple thing that Google should fix.

Lots of discussion about this in the past.

This has to be worked out by google as the contacts are synced with google server and resolution is cutdown terribly.
Wow I just checked out that link and it looks like this will never be fixed.

How hard would it be to mod the contacts app to support higher resolutions?
I manually did mine because Facebook never seems to stop running resulting in a battery killer so I freeze/unfreeze upon usage. may take awhile based on amount of contacts but no need for contact merging,no more low res photos and no more battery killing due to Fbook
I bought fbPhotoSync from the Market and used it to download high resolution photos for all of my contacts. Worked like a charm.

have a market link?
I have been using Music Beta since it first came out without any problems on my Charge, Xoom, and Galaxy Tab. But when Gummy 2.0 came out and I flashed it, my music will not load. All I get is the circle loading icon and it never plays. I switched back to Eclipse today and it still is not working. I have tried reinstalling the music app several times and switching kernals. Are there any ideas out there or people with a similar issue? I checked all over the support pages on Google but came up with nothing.

Haha, I'm signed up for Google Music but i have no idea what it is or how to use it.

so what exactly is happening? is your library loading and nothing is playing or is the library not loading?
Everything shows up but when I try to play any song it just hangs there. Other streaming apps like Pandora seem to be working fine.

I had the same issue, had to go into Google music webpage and delete some "authorized devices" had like 9 samsung charges listed from all the flashing
This should fix you right up
Go to music.google.com
Login
Settings
Deauthorized some devices
Hope this helps

Every time I ask Google now, like "what's the weather today", it almost responses a result and a voice answer when suddenly the browser launches and gives me a Web search.
I installed chrome and none of the settings has been modified.
So, could anyone have a solution?
Thanks a lot

Happened to me on my HD2 running ICS.......it was strange for me but the trick is......deinstall that fb completly.....reboot.....install newest from Google play.....then open up the app log in...if you still got that issue reboot again......or if that dont to the trick run the app and go inside the applications and kill it ( no deinstall just stop it)
I fixed it so on my device

I've recently updated my note 10.1 to jelly bean and now having issues with the updated gallery. the gallery is slow and i have no pictures, just empty frames where the pics should be. only a few albums seem to show up. i tried clearing the cache and force stop and reboot...but still nothing. any ideas why this is happening. i downloaded quickpic as a solution but i shouldn't have to download a 3rd party up to be able to see my pictures. thanks so much in advance!

Maybe you can try going to settings-manage application-gallery-clear data and clear cache.

Be patient with the gallery app and it will be okay, mine took 48hours to becone useable after the jellybean update, it seems to scan the whole tablet to build the folders and make the thumbnails and untill it has done this it is slow as hell, i have about 3000+ photos on my external sd card and this is what makes the gallery app initially unresponsive, after a couple of days it will be fine
