What is this? İs it rom?

ME865 - not mb865..
FWIW the ME865 1.3 MIUI seems to work on my AT&T MB865. I'm able to make calls and get an HSPA signal.
Speedtest seems a tad slow, but that could just be AT&T's network this morning.
This rom looks pretty cool. I'd like to see an English version

Try modifing these build.prop lines:
Code:
ro.product.locale.language=en
ro.product.locale.region=US
It might make more UI elements in English.
Had nothing but FC's.

This isn't a true miui rom is it? I haven't downloaded it, i can just tell by reading the op.
Sent from my MB865 using xda premium
its probably miui patchrom, which is a miui official porting method i guess you could say, it ports miui from a stock gb rom, i was actually thinking of doing this when i got hold of a working atrix 2 again. Its basically turns a stock rom (2.3.6 motoblur) into a miui rom, you cant really tell it was based on a stock rom, but they are usually just as stable as stock, all features working.

I'm not into overclocking + heavy Themes so I make my own Roms. Once I feel comfortable I post it (Removing all possible bugs). Like most of us, I like Mod's and extras. Thanks to all the dev's who worked on Mod's.
I'm sure some of you wanted something like this... I hope u enjoy. and yes everything works (GPS with CWM on Boot etc). I will be out of country for a month starting tomorrow. So ur on ur OWN. Guys please help each other. Thanks.

NO.. Freeze what u want from TB.
It looks very nice, I like the simplistic approach. Thanks for taking the time to work on this!
One thing I'd like to know about Bravia Engine: did you have to do anything to port it or did a ported version from another device work on the A2?

Good deal. I've ran your roms on the captivate and the infuse and they are good stable roms. I'll be flashing this once my a2 charges up. Thanks for making one for the a2.

EDITED- BEST ROM EVER. The issues I had must have been something weird. Bad download, shady install... I don't know. What I do know is the second time I installed this ROM its working beautifully. Appologies to the Dev. You obviously took your time with this. Great work! This is the first ROM I've used where I actually like the stock launcher. This ROM is very battery friendly and everything I've tryed so far works as advertised. Including CWM on boot + GPS.
Thank you Googler_1976! Very nice work!

On the positive side... I like the notification screen, phone pad dialer, the whole system seems very smooth and quick. I might take another look at this when I have more time. Thanks for your efforts! You will make a lot of people happy with this.
@cogeary,
Thanks for the sequence on the Play Store. I'll give that a try next time I install this.
KEB64 said:
I think I like enough tor use. Couple things... Google play store keeps force closing. I deleted cache and data and I'm getting force closes still. I repaired permissions as well. CWM on boot doesn't appear to be working. Not sure why. Is the lockscreen supposed to have an almost double image of a lock and unlock? Seems like it shouldn't? Keyboard is throwing up weird images of keys and freezing spuratically. Sorry for my spelling.

Had to cancel download so I haven't been able to download and flash yet so I don't know about the lockscreen or keyboard. However, I know that the market/play store will FC if you flash /system without clearing data... to fix it just clear cache+data, uninstall updates, then leave it open for a minute or two to update.
How do you make roms? Do u use the android kitchen? Im interested in making (yet another) rom for the a2

Hey did you create this from the original TAR file or from INC's odexed ROM? If you have the original TAR file...any idea if the TAR file is safe to flash? Does it wipe anything? I have copy of it and want to play around but just want to confirm a few things.
anyone have an update on the stability of this rom??

Based off Incubus' odexed rom. There is currently no tar available for us to use. Inc or Jucy might have it but as far as I understand they pulled the files from the tar because is was corrupt. If yours copy is not corrupted I would love to get my hand on it.

Great! I like the 4x5 launcher much better than stock.
I am rebuilding this from the source and will be re-uploading this. Only real difference is it will be zipaligned and have the boot sounds.
How is the touchwiz launcher as far as redraws? Are they still frequent?

android system / media is eating up the battery again.
This is running legit and smooth. I kept the VRLHE modem though. Some people are reporting slow upload speeds with the new JB one. And I'm also using the leaked 4.2 keyboard, no problems.

anyone who tries it, please report bugs and mention flashing instructions.
I m unable to understand the steps if anyone tries and succeeds do let us know the steps.
It seems we must flash wipe data and then flash the zip as usual. And then we have to modify the boot.img (i think), to make the signal works.
I dont know what about the bugs. The download didn't finished yet.

Hey guys! This is the latest official CWM Touch recovery for our Skyrocket.
The build is from the http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager site.
I've made it into a flashable zip by taking sk8erwitskil's updatescript.

Android 4.3 no matter what flavor/distro.
Credit to CWM team and sk8erwitskil .

This is a release thread, so it's cool to bump it as much as you like.
This is a vanilla build and it doesn't have a "Format /preload" option or a "preload restore" option.

You flash it in recovery. Twrp is better anyways though, so just keep that.

sorry, I'm a noob, I used to use TWRP tar file flash with odin, and for this ClockworkMod flashable zip, how can I flash it? Odin doesn't recognize .zip file? Thanks

Flash it in recovery just like any other flashable zip. If you're asking this, you might want to reconsider doing anything until you have thoroughly read about what you're doing before you end up with a paper weight instead of a phone.
Brought to you by time and relative dimensions in space.

I'm disappointed in u Dan, we should all be allowed options. I prefer twrp too, but choice is always good, it breeds innovation.
The ONE and ONLY reason I tell people that Apple should continue to makes phones when they say android is better.
That, and windows phones for those who are so technically inclined are actually quite good

Well....he still has the choice. I am just strongly recommending what I feel is a superior recovery, both ui and functionally.
But I am sorry I have disappointed you. Options always breed competition and from that comes great innovation and design improvement.
So, rock out with your CWM bro!

Where did you get the recovery, the clockwork mod site does not show 6.0.3.3 as being available for the skyrocket. Be wary of flashing this unless you have verified the device it is for.

Hey GUYS! I know there haven't been much development in the forums these days as everyone is waiting for CM10.1.
Remember I take no responsibility for what happens to your phone because of the flash. I should have the download link soon as I finalize the ROM.
Installation Instructions
Download the ROM (After I've sorted out the bugs) (Pretty Soon), The Kernel, And MIUI Gapps (to minimize errors)
Flash the ROM
Flash the kernel. Preferred BlueLightning
Reboot
Flash The Gapps Here
ScreenShots
Wow miui v5...would love to have it on my blaze! Waiting desperately...

Factory rest and dalvik wipe.. you can go back and forth if you have a back up.. But always remember to wipe.

Personally, blue lightning is alot less invasive. Meaning it doesn't change splash and boot animations, and add files/script packages. But it has all the good stuff, uv/oc'ing, governors, and schedulers. Could limit the amount of bugs.

And thanks for continuing development, Program.
