[MODS][i9001][Value Pack][XXKQB] Phone, Camera, CRT-OFF enabled Framework

Hi
I have attached the modified "Phone.apk":
- annoying increasing ringtone from Samsung is gone
- dialer screen disappears as quickly as possible by the end of call
And the "Camera.apk" :
- camera can be used even under 15% of battery left.
Installation:
1. Back-up original files (Phone.apk and Camera.apk) first
2. Put the phone into Flight mode for the replacing of Phone.apk
3. Push modified apk files into /system/app folder
4. Turn Flight mode off and/or reboot the phone to avoid FCs
5. Enjoy.
THIS IS ONLY FOR THE VALUE PACK ROM XXKQB DEODEXED OR ANY OTHER ROM BASED ON THIS
I haven't test it on other roms. Fell free to do so. Back-Up original apk's first.
UPDATE 1:
I've added the mods for Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0.1 by RavoxX apk's (camera and phone).
Installation:
- follow the steps from RavoxX thread for the installation of v4.0.1 for KQB (Value Pack)
- unzip my attached archive
- follow the above steps.

Added camera.apk for stock and Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0.1 by RavoxX with the following changes:
- camera can be used even under 15% of battery left
- changed the settings mediaprofiles for recording video :
• 1280*720
VBR - 20_15_10 Mbps [old 12_10_8]
ABR/ASR - 192Kbps/44100Hz [old 63/16000_44100]
UPDATE 3 (UPDATED on June 19):
Added framework-res.apk for stock roms with following changes:
- CRT-OFF animation enabled
- transparent notification background
Installation:
- backup original framework-res.apk
- extract framework-res.apk from the attached framework-res.zip
- push to system/framework the attached framework-res.apk
- reboot (usually it reboots itself)
- go to settings -> display -> animation and set to some animation or all animations. On no animations it doesn't work.

for small mods like this u can use Puma Tool works with every rom and installation is very easy, just select the modification, the tool will grab the needed files from your device and customize them.

Yes u can use them directly while using broodrom rc5,just follow the steps given by developer above !

Broodrom rc5 is based on XXKQB so the files should both work. Just follow the steps and enjoy.
Don't forget to backup original first.

if the phone and camera themed, he has to upload his themed apk's for a patch.

Don't know how the apk's are on broodcom rom. If indeed are themed then just upload them here and when I get home I will patch them.

Yes indeed. It's the .zip attachment. If you are running broodrom rc5 just unzip and replace your phone.apk and camera.apk with the modified ones.
Backup first.
EDIT: If anyone want's the camera.apk with the ICS icon and is using a rom based on XXKQB, it is safe to push the modified camera.apk from the .zip attachment. Tested my self.

It contains the phone and camera apk. The camera.apk is modified to be used under 15% of battery left and it has the ICS icon. If you really want I can make a mod of the camera wich does the following:
Changes the settings mediaprofiles for recording video :
• 1280*720
VBR - 20_15_10 Mbps [old 12_10_8]

I only made those changes because that was what I wanted.

Reason for different mod packs is that I combine mods over one another as I feel the need for it. Therefore, one mod becomes dependent on other!

It's a .9 PNG Backgroung used for popups for volume etc. I have attached a screen shot for better understanding.

Do i need to flash the kernels first before your mod?

For LED notifications you'll need UC Kernel v15. For the rest of the mods any kernel with CWM will do.

Works great ,14 toggles look as good as stock,swipe to clear extended menu ,looks awesome,thanks.

If i apply 1% mod then the power menu doesnt pop up.. the phone just restarts... can u make a combined mod of everything into one.... so 14 toggle, swipe, 1% and ics animations, crt animation ... itd be great if you could come up with such a mod... thanks...

Yes, you'll have to apply Mod Pack 1 to get 14 toggles as it is dependent on Swipe to Clear Notifications mod.
One thing you can do is, take the framework.jar from Mod 1 and the rest of the files from 14 toggles mod and replace them with root explorer. That way you get Swipe to Clear and 14 Toggles.

Thanks for informing about the GPS problem, the config was working very well on DDKP3 but not on DDLF2. I have removed it for now and added a restore file. You can restore and apply the mod again.

and abt the gps.conf file, have u reverted back to stock or does the new file include any mods..

Extract and replace the framework-res.apk from zip for CRT OFF. To revert to stock gps.conf flash the restore pack and then the mods. (I have removed the mods with gps.conf file)

yup bro gingerbread of mini!!

That means we can use other custom stock kernels..ok will try right now
EDIT:..Rom's fine so smooth but lag appears after booting for 1st time after installing..rebooting again fixes the issue didnt check everything though..
@yeshwanthvshenoy bro, the screenshots seem to be different from original one..did u port previous version??coz in new version there is brightness slider in status bar along with minor ui changes..
A small bug found..go to sleep toggle is missing ( most used toggle for me )

the rom is the final version of new experience bro the original thread consists of both the prev version and final bro!! u may have got confused!! yup first boot laggy is due to odexed part and ya the sleep toggle isnt present in the original rom bro sry!!! and there is a small but u may get settings fc when u disconnect ur charger but not a big deal actually

Woah the phone's damn fast even without adrenaline engine ..there are many scripts in init.d folder so thought the engine was pre installed..anyways a small req bro..if u wanna port latest version, will u remove brightness slider from status bar..it doesnt look good :good:

an xperian z styled cm7 port for fit almost done around 11th will get it on xda!!wilfredcool007's hyperdroid porting to galaxy mini!!!and a rom for fit gingerbread but jb styled that is wat taking me time!!! another on that i get a phone fc and i have been trying to solve it but never done is xperia z shin engine jb styled bro!!!

Download serajr 's Xperia Xposed Module.. Me Too Using That.. After Installing XX Module U Will Get Colord Icons

Taping Clock In Statusbar Will Turn Display Off
And also I'm not sure if it will work for 4.4.4(I'm on 4.4.2), plz update the mod to 4.4.4 if not working. Thanks for your work.

I finally upgraded my rom to 4.4.4 today via flashtool and deodexed it myself with kamometool v6a. So, this is all from a pure stock 4.4.4 deodexed rom without any modification, feel free to use it to update your mod. Indeed, I only need 3 Button Stock SystemUI and Long Pressing Clock Give Power Menu. lol

@Rajeev please can you make this mod work for 4.4.4 firmware thanks

[MOD][UI][G3TWB]G2 SystemUI Navbar Mods and G3TWB Softkeys for Lollipop

I. Xposed not required - this are UI MODS
All mods are made for CloudyG2 3.3 - i can't check is it works with stock.
All downloads required to modding are in one directory so read the description of the installation carefuly:
1. I recommend to use LGystemUI-Backup Original.zip for making backup your original LGSystemUI before start modding. After flash this file you will have flashable backup in /sdcard/LGSystemUI-original
2. As a basis for further modifications need to use the re-compiled by me (Flash with TWRP and reboot the system)
file Modded SystemUI for G2 LP stock navbar.zip:
3. If you left point . 1 and 2 , do not go further.
4. Select and install the modification named with Navbar MOD...
Flash with TWRP then reboot system and enjoy new navbar
5. If you want to go back to stock navbar - restore your backup located in LGSystemUI-original
In Downloads you will find Quicksetting + Noti transparency mods too
I don't have G2 anymore so all screenshots you can see here in my G3 thread

II. Xposed required
Using Apktool 5.2.0 for android and this Guide by @P_Toti i replaced png files from KK softkeys to LP version.
I used files from @AyDee and others.
Mod works with G3 Tweaksbox 1.5.1 beta 1

Yes. I only replace some png files from KK softkeys to one of @P_Toti LP softkeys and recompile.
Actually, i don't know how to make full working Softkeys for LP like KK version - i tried but no effect.

Sorry but i haven't original png files. Maybe tomorrow...

Next week i'll start modding G2 LGSystemUI just like in my G3 thread (link at the end of first post)

Updated with UI MODs. First for CloudyG2 3.3 - should work with stock LP but i can't check. Cloudy is UX4 so i made Stock too as soon as i can.
