Can Atrix 2 AT&T be flashed other firmwares?
Someone said that ME865 and MB865 cannot use the same firmware, but all these are for MB865, is it safe?
Edit: Oh, I realized a mistake: MB685, anything wrong?
ain't the machines selling in those regions ME865?

I don't believe you can flash firmware from say, the Chinese version to the US version without some issues. I'd stick to the version made for your region for the time being.

True, but if you find a cmw backup it flashs fine, most of the issues is the security related, ty Motorola for locking the bootloader, radio ect

There's still a workaround to root actually. I'm not sure what it does, but I'm about to install it now.

Let me know how it goes. I just want the update reminder to go away.
I got the update. It's NI2. Didn't root. Still stock. All I can say is VPN is still broken. So ridiculous.
Very suspicious saying the already in use 4.4.4 allows use of advanced calling 1.0 seems like verizon forgot to kill root and is making another attempt
@open1your1eyes0
what do you think? can we update and do the old kernel trick?

The AT&T firmware is the original firmware on the D850. Are you rooted? Are you running the stock kernel?

yes iim rooted. i don't use any costum kernel bought it with every thing came from lg. every thing official.
I had problems with my sd card not mounting when I was using a custom kernel but worked perfectly with the stock kernel. I would back up the sd card and format it in your phone.

Only firmware out there really is 10d. Higher firmwares can only be obtained by Ota updates

I'm looking for anyone with dump/backup. There is no way I can access OTA from where I am.
Also I don't know if lack of proper software is what's causing issues with camera/wifi/network/overheating.

Those are all common known hardware problems of the G3. Definitely not software. Especially with the WiFi and overheating. Only fix is usually board replacement for that

Hi again.
This are the exact details for the device I came accross online https://secretspecs.com/model/lg/lge-lg-d850-2/
if you know even of a custom rom that has worked on this device maybe I might be able to restore it back to normal.
Thanks in advance

You are flasshing an older firmware. Install samfirm then you can download the latest
The problem is that you are trying to downgrade from a version "3" bootloader (3DPA5) to one that is version "2" (2ERH3). Odin (and Samsung) won't allow this. Once you have upgraded your bootloader, you can't roll back.
There are ways to get around this limitation using TWRP and a custom ROM for the downgrade, followed by Odin, but it is complex. You should simply select appropriate firmware with the correct bootloader.
