First let me say thanks to all developers and user. Ive only had a a Sensation for a few months and im already a Rom junkie.
I want to buy a sim free HTC sensation XE in Ireland for a friend that im visiting in the Philippines shorty. Ill be updating to ICS here in Ireland before I leave and want to know if my friend (not a techie) will be able to update there with a European RUU? I need to buy it tomorrow so I appreciate any advice.

I bought a Telekom GER branded HTC Sensation on the Internet but because I wanted an unbranded device I followed the guide to S-Off, set the Carrier ID to HTC__102, to have an "originally" unbranded device, installed the [RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.35.401.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_198179_signed.exe] and changed back to S-On. But because I didn't find a branded Stock ROM, I would like to know if I could send it to HTC without losing my warranty. It would be great if someone could tell me if HTC has a tool to find out.

I'd go through the CID steps again and put the original numerals back if it were mine...
No I really don't have a problem with my fantastic Sensation, but I was just wondering if they would recognize it.

my brother send me a HTC sensation xe from uk that will arrive with in 7 days.
my question is that ICS is available in uk but can i able to update (gingerbread) my cell to ICS being residing in Pakistan.
