What could it be ?
did you wipe data, cache and dalvik?
It could be that you didnt read instructions very well... dont you think its a little too soon for.flashing if u didnt even use your phone for a couple of days... now sitback relax coz its not broken... just browse this forum and read what you need thats the only way ul learn how to proper flash roms and if someone helps you now it will happen again next time you dont follow each and every instruction ... take one day and just read guides, watch videos, user comments before you do anything and im sure u will find solution for this. Try to understand how all this works and not just flash to get zomg fast uber cool phone. Btw u can check nexus s hacks guides as it helped me alot in egining
Most of MIUI roms require a full wipe. As stated previously, make sure you have followed dev advise installing each of their rom. Make a full wipe and flash rom again.

Your going into deeper grounds there. Theres for cooks, to back up a rom that way you would have to dump the rom, and unpack and repack it.
I suggest using Sprite Backup.

Great help Martin.
Is there any chance to make at least two kinds of ROMs:
1. The original one from HTC with latest updates and tweaks
2. The custom ROM as you build usually
I can see many ROMs and one has more than needed, other one less than expected... and I'm pretty sure I don't want the original HTC ROM as it's slow like smell..
I know this is a bit more work to do, but hey - it's your showtime
Just my thought to share
why dont you cook your own rom

There is plenty of roms to choose from. I suggest that you find the one that appeals to you and flash it. I see that you are a Senior member, longer than me might I add, so I know that you know better than to ask something like this.
Enough said, Thread closed.
Thank you for understanding.
Hi there, i just recieved a Nexus s 9020T, i was told the wifi/BT doesnt work, After researching, most of the people did no know what we are talking about, or they said, just install another version.. so i tried that, ive reset everything, installed 2 different stock roms,
1ada25375426.signed-soju-ota-189904.1ada2537
and
Stock-GRH78-Unsigned
still no wifi, i think when i changed everything, the kernal stayed the same. can someone please point me into he direction on wich kernal i should use (or ROM) tha tmay fix my wifi issues?
or should i just wait for ICS???
here is a clip of what is happeneng to the wifi when you try to enable it..https://picasaweb.google.com/103722126245737142896/November19201102#5676758898278067106
this is the version of my software

if you want to change kernel just download a kernel and flash it but at this point if you have the device
rooted just try a custom rom which has a non stock kernel.
Make sure before the installation when you get into the recovery to wipe cache/dalvik and do a factory rest.
go dev section , there is lots kernels you can choice.
backup in recovery , and then wipe cache and dalvik
I forgot my password
is there any way to remove it? im on android 4.0.4 . I really dont want to delete everything
What password did you forget? The lockscreen's?
Do you have backups of any kind?
If you have backed up your data with titanium or an equivalent than you can just reflash the ROM.
If you want system data you can use the Aroma file manager or TWRP file manager if you have to pull that out.
sent from me
Thanks for the info but i decided to wipe everything
I guess im going to try a couple of roms to see which one I like

WOW. Giving a lot of thought before creating a post that you solved yourself by doing exactly the opposite of what you create the post for lends towards:

History:
I used droidwall on gb and firewall was working fine, but when I upgraded to ics(cm 9b11 and mini cm 9#3), it worked on boot and then for a while and then after a couple of hours(not sure when.. usually after 3 to 8 hours later) the firewall rules just go off..they don't work anymore..
Also tried: afwall..same issue.. can't get a log.. coz I don't know at which time the rules go off..
Any help is appreciated..
Thanks in advance.
Here is a full (not much is seen in my eye)log, when a blocked opera mini accesses mobile data:

Not completely solved, but avast is working fine(fully and completely)...
Problem is Android ics... disable(restrict) mobile data as per limit in settings...disable that...it'll work fine... avast has methods to bypass this.. thanks for viewing this thread everyone..
Have a great day...
Enjoy..
PS: Just because devs don't answer your questions.. don't get angry /frustrated on them...
Coz they are the ones who do all the heavy work... and even give up(testing first.. taking all the damage.. and even losing thier phones(hard brick))their phones for the sake of development .
