It is probably DSP Manager causing the problem. Either delete the apk or turn off the equalizer to fix.

is there anyway that i can fix it? i <3 music thats why i need the DSP

How about you delete equalizer and get paid Voodoo Control app? Also, I think Raver posted a thread somewhere about the DSP apk so you may try that one.

Pare it's the DSP that causes the music to skip occasionally... but that stop once EQ is off, i have same issue... or u can replace it with voodoo sound control..

Voodoo is for the hardware on the device to maximize it's potential and DSP is for the software on the device to manage the sound. There are other equalizers in the market you can use to do the same thing. Voodoo is recommended either way.

Thank you for the suggestions and tips esp lumin30
how can i delete the DSP its embedded with the ROM that i got i tried installing Root uninstaller but it cant be done.

You need a root explorer, such as Super Manager. Click on the 3rd link in my signature.
First post explains how to set up Super Manager for root access and where to find the system/app folder on your phone. Go to system/app folder, make sure you are set to r/w, find the DSP apk and delete it. And hit the thanks button

[Q] Problems uninstalling OCLF

I haven't found much on this by searching so I'm posting here.
Basically I rooted my phone with the one click application for OSX. Then downloaded OCLF from android market and used "OneClickLagFix V2+" to fix the lag. It worked and quadrant scored over double the previous score.
I uninstalled the lagfix via OCLF as I was about to do an upgrade on Kies. OCLF confirms that the lagfix is not installed.
However I did a quadrant benchmark to check if it worked and got 1718 for the score. This seems way to high for the lag fix to be removed. Stock phones are meant to be around 800.
How can I make sure the lag fix is removed/disabled before I proceed to flashing roms?
Thanks for your help.
What I did to fix this was put a file named "disable lagfix" into the Voodoo folder using an app similar to rootexplorer. Reboot and the lagfix was removed with a robotic voice announcing the progress.

[Q] Audio Manager

I am looking for something along the lines of DSP manager Im running on LiquidSmooth 4.2.1 and the files I have tried to flash or change permissions on just arnt working and the stock volume isnt loud enough Im now set on DSP so i wouldnt mind an alternative I tried Beats and it wont run at all.

[MOD][TUTORIAL] How to enable Viper4Android on non-stock based ROMs for Tunein etc.

Hello,
It is a mandatory for me to have Viper4Android installed, so I've always used it on every device.
Norally, enabling Viper4Android for Tunein Radio app was quite easy, as we simply had to install this mod (I can't find the thread where I've downloaded it from, if You can, please send me the link so I can give credits to the dev who made it) and after that just install Viper4Android.
However it wasn't working so well on every custom (non-sammy) ROM. Installing the previous given mod made it unable to make any phone call, as there was completely no sound during a phone call.
So I've finally found a way to enable Viper for Galaxy S4 and keep the sound working while calling someone.
Here's what You have to do (You have to be rooted and have CWM or TWRP installed)
1. Download this and put it to Your sdcard
2. Reboot Your device into recovery and flash the file (it will wipe dalvik cache)
3. Turn on Your device and install Viper4Android libraries.
That's it, You're done.
Now You can listen to Tunein music while using Viper4Android.
REMEMBER: I'm not responsible for any damage of Your phone. You do it at Your own risk.
A nandroid backup is recommended
Hi Ya! mr.lover.
Like You I'm an Avid User of VIPER so thanks for your post. I have a couple of questions if you have the time.
1),.. I'm on stock Sam firmware 4.4.2, will the audio mod work just as well as the mbb4.3 mod on the stock?
2),..Turn on Your device and install Viper4Android libraries. Please can you explain more about these Libraries, if they do not come with the viper install where can I find them, if they do, where on on my phone are these files located??
Sorry I can't provide a link to the dev for the mod mbb4.3 but here's a link to a post of which I found awesome, (you may already know this), http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/ultimate-music-effects-mods-settings-t2559242.
Couldn't figure out how to have Viper & DSP manager running at the same time, maybe if I deleted Sam Sys Music Effects apk I could?
Looking forward from hearing from you soon with answers. KIND REGARDS:highfive:
Sorry, for such a late answer but I'm not being often over here after I got banned few times.
If you're using stock rom you don't need any additional mod like mbb4.3 or the other one to use Viper.
You just install Viper4android and the libraries it provides (they are included with the app and I'm not a developer so I can't explain how they work), but you have to get additional presets to make it work even better.
Also you can't use multiple equalizers simultaneously, so dsp and Viper won't work together.
Sent from HTC One m8, or maybe not anymore

[Q] CM10.2 and DSP / Equalizer App

Hi!
I upgraded to the latest stable CM to get rid of the annoying upgrade toast. The updating of TWRP and flashing itself went smoothly.
But now I can't get either DSP Manager or my beloved Equalizer App to work. There is no error, but neither is there any change in the sound when I enable them. Tried uninstalling Equalizer App and running only DSP Manager but no luck. Then I read on random forums that it might only work on Apollo. (I use DI.fm), but not even in Apollo would it refurbish my sound.
Any 2 cents on this?

DSP MANAGER for 4.4.2 Samsung TouchWiz based ROM

Hello music lovers,
Samsung stock audio quality is just good but not powerful, not deep enough for sub-woofer pleasure.
I know there are many sound mods for Note 3, but the only one that i interest is DSP MANAGER (originally from Cyanogenmod) wich giving a deepest bass and sound is really great for me.
I have searched, tried so many threat out there and finally found the only DSP MANAGER version that REALLY WORK on Note 3 with rooted stock Samsung 4.4.2 ROM. I enjoyed it and would like to share with everyone who need this great sound mod.
No more words, thank to @serio22 it is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2571461
Important:
Flashing this will bring you the great audio quality but it will make your stock Samsung music player become useless. Use an other music player and enjoy.
Flashing is risky and i am not responsible for any trouble and damage to your device. If you understand about flashing just go ahead
Instruction:
1. Download the attached zip file in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48519287&postcount=1
2. Make sure your phone is rooted and have a custom recovery.
3. Reboot your phone into recovery and flash the zip file.
4. After finish flashing, reboot your phone as normal.
5. Open Setting -> Device tab-> Sound -> Music effects -> Choose "DSPManager"
6. Open App list and choose DSP MANAGER icon
7. Choose "Headset" tab and stick in "enable" bass boost.
8. Some other functions in this app you can discover by yourself.
9. Open music player and enjoy the music.
10. Tell me how do you feel ( Just kidding)
Known issue:
I only try this on my N9005, stock Samsung music player will not work after flashing this. Try other music player and it will work.
Hope that someone will fix this issue soon.
