Hi,
I will like to buy P6210, the not 3G version and I want to know if this version has vibration motor inside that can be used for haptic feedback, as I have now on I9000. This is useful for notifications, keyboards...
I hope someone with P6210 experience could answer that.
Thanks
Yes.
Under Settings>
Sound>
Haptic feedback
Vibrate when soft keys are pressed and on certain UI interactions
Thank you very much!
I didn't find this in the tablet specifications and I was afraid this function is no available on non 3G version.

I installed MIUI.us 1.11.18 by Twin_Dragons just the other day. Loving it overall, but having two small issues:
"Vibrate on keypress" does not work in both stock keyboard and Swype. I have haptic feedback enabled in SOUND setting, VIBRATE ON KEYPRESS enabled in both keyboards under LANGUAGE & INPUT, and even enabled HAPTIC FEEDBACK TWEAKS (which I found by search function in settings, this one doesn't appear anywhere else and seems to do nothing). Pressing hardware buttons makes the phone vibrate, pressing menu items doesn't (meaning 'haptic feedback on screen selections' also appear broken).
Cannot find/reach MUIU camera app. I flashed the ROM twice (went back to my Sense back-up after the first time). First time around, I opened the camera app and saw the MUIU version. Second time around I keep getting the AOSP version.
As relevant clues to why things might be broken: I installed Launcher Pro, changed themes and restored a couple of apps with Titanium Backup (I think it was just maps and browser).

Haptic feedback doesn't work because Miui changed their keyboard to ICS keyboard. It will probably be fixed soon.
Thumb Keyboard haptic feedback works , if you're willing to buy.
MIUI camera isn't implemented yet, they are working on it.
Hi. I have disabled all vibrations but still when I rotate Note from portrait to landscape and vice versa it still vibrates for a second. Is there any way to disable it. I am on 8010 JB.
try disabling haptic feedback
Having the same issue. I tries Sound-Haptic Feedback unchecked but it doesn't solve the problem.
This 4.1.1 update is just terrible. It brings some extra features regarding multiwindow and other functions but also has all these small bugs (vibration, otg, keyboard and gallery lag) that spoil the whole experience. And of course we still wait for a exploit fix.

I had to Reset the Note to solve the vibrate issue. Yes, I also get those bugs (galerry, homescreen, KB lag)... Hopefully Samsung will fix them soon.
Hey guys, I found out a way to enable haptic feedback on screen touch.
After I followed THIS thread, I wasn't totally satisfied. So i digged around.
I found out if I install AI Type keyboard from Google Play( I bought long time ago, but free version should work as well) and I go to settings I can enable vibration everywhere, not just the buttons taskbar. I used 50ms duration feedback and it's ok. The default 10ms is not enough
Not promoting AI Type , i haven't tried other keyboard that has the option to edit haptic feedback.
If you find any, please add it here.
SwiftKey
Another keyboard would be SwiftKey by Microsoft. It also has the option to change the duration of the vibration.

Hey,
Just updated to EMUI 9.0.1.159 with Android 9.
On top of the display size issues everyone else is having... I am having some sensitivity issues with my keyboard. I am using Swiftkey (have been for years). After the latest update I am finding that the haptic feedback is missing for some taps on the keyboard. Sometimes when typing, there will be no vibration. Seems like a minor gripe but is very distracting.
Anyone else have/notice this issue? Any solution?
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
It is surprising hard to configure an Android smartphone to be "usable" for some elderly folks. Especially those with hand mobility issues like my mother who hands shake slightly.
I would be interested in collaborating with someone to design and build a launcher for such people. Maybe even a skin or whole ROM eventually. Or a patch to turn on/off some features.
I have been trying to configure an Android phone for my mother who is in her mid-seventies and lives alone. She sometimes presses the wrong button to turn off wi-fi or mute all notifications which worries her and and us. Or she enables Talkback making the phone unusable.
It actually difficult to disable some of these features (such as the swipe down menu or Shelf). I've created some workarounds but it does not fully fix the issues.
Is there anyone in the same situation or thinking same thing? Please respond!
Thank you
