There are 3 of them. Just 3. Not 300, only 3. If you search, you will find all 3. In fact, all 3 are on the first page of the development section currently, so you don't even need to search.
If you are too lazy to look at 3 threads for a few pages, then you should not be installing kernels, or roms.

I am new to modding my Sprint hero

I rooted the phone and flashed the ROM. I am looking to get Android market and figure out how to sync my contacts with GMAIL. I am very new to this and actually didn't really want to do it, but why not. I need all kinds of help.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony
The best advice I can give you, being pretty new myself, is to search the forum every question has been asked 12 times atleast. And the people here are extremely helpful. From my knowledge I would search for a Google addons zip and flash it. But I could be wrong.

Make sure you keep the gapps file for future use. ROMS built from source cannot have googles proprietary files included.

Vrblk3 kernel

Anyone know where I can find it, I'm using synergy Rom and I like the stock kernel better but I've tried looking for it everywhere, even the galaxy s3 download list but I can't seem to find it

Not sure how linking to another forum that is a lot smaller then the one he is in will help. But anyways here is the kernel. http://d-h.st/oyU
I understand. I remember pulling the modem from RootzWiki per another thread on here, but could not find that thread. Plus the one you sent is blocked here at work....like a lot of things.

Vincoms superlite rom v8 cm10 4.1.2

Just a quick question I googled it and searched with no luck and I'm not spending hours syphoning through an 100+ page thread,
Does his ROM v8 have HDMI compatibility because I attempted and it did not work so either its the ROM or user error I would appreciate your feedback thanks.

I don't think so, but I haven't tried it. Vincom it's pretty active on xda so hopefully he'll see this and let you know.
This is the right place to ask this question, but you wouldn't be the first one to ask him a question in his thread in the development section.

Sorry didn't reply sooner, I'll look into the HDMI fix because I do remember seeing around somewhere when I wasn't on cm10....

Ask politely in the future , even if you don't want to "syphoning through a 100+ page thread" . Many people here are wasting so much time so you can enjoy Roms and support ...

Help choosing a rom?

Finally decided to try a custom rom, I'm tired of waiting for verizon to update the S3 to Premium Suite Upgrade.
Is there any roms out there that are stable and have the multi window function, I'm not looking for anything fancy just simple but that includes all the features that were left iut with the 4.1.2 update.
If youccould point me to the right direction I'd appreciate it
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
please do some research and read. there are probably more than 5 of the roms that meet your criteria in the development section.
you need to try roms and read and see what meets your needs. there are guides and similar threads all over this forum.
there are some small features in some that arent available in others that will make people want certain roms.
put a little effort in, itll serve you well. its obvious youve put in 0% effort.
I was just hoping for some examples from users who have had experience.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
the threads of teh roms are filled with experiences, opinions and impressions. what more do you really want?
I mean, the titles of the roms and original posts have all the information youd really ever need.
we see these threads daily and they get closed. theres a wealth of info here. dig in.
5-7 posts down from this.....theres a 30 page thread dedicated to limiting posts like this.

OK I will suggest the 3 best ROMs IMO to you; Synergy, MOAR & Hyperdrive. They all have the multi window and are fast with many mods.

I wont respond with a jerk answer. Bro try synergy rom, hyperdrive rom, or beanstown rom. Im personally drawn to using any rom by deviant. Sons of android, deviant one, there's a couple. Not to mention the support in the threads are great. I recently tried synergy. Great rom, and great support aswell. Synergy is very very stable. Just make sure u read the o.p. prior to flashing anything. Don't forget to unlock your bootloader.

I did but most if those root methods are for jellybean 4.1.1 I'm on 4.1.2.
You took the time to type back couldn't you have just said what I have to do first.

No instead of you half assing your search and wanting to be spoon fed you could have easily found it.

Not hard at all now was it.
That is because your question is asked and answered hundreds of times a week. It gets very repetaive.
Doing a google search for "4.1.2 root sch-i535" will give you plenty of results. Dont limit yourself to xda, check youtube and other sites as well. I spent a month on and off reserching methods and reading user errors before I rooted, unlocked and flashed. That is excessive but I wanted to minimize and fix any errors thst might come my way.

There is no substitute for reading about the software you are about to alter your $700 device with.
