How can I go back to the original rom?

I could not find the forum, I want to return to the original operating system of HTC.
There is a guide for this?

I messed up with the understanding there.

when you say run a ruu you meen to sourc Kernel from htc dev > dev center ->downloads?

No I mean an RUU. Kernel is not the same as RUU. RUU stands for ROM Update Utility.
Go to htcruu.com and then go to the pyramid folder and download the RUU with 3.33.401.53 in the filename (for normal sensation) or 3.33.401.153 in the name (for sensation xe) and run that file from a windows pc.

OK, I just connect my Sensation XE to the pc and run the ruu (exe)? need to change use mode?
There are risks in making this action?

[Q] Won't upgrade 3.33.401.53 to 3.33.401.55

I read already about 20 post and I still don't untherstand how to let my sensation upgrade to 3.33.401.55
I can go in the bootloader and this one is showing :
UNLOCKED ( in pink color )
Pyramid PUTSHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.27.000
eMMC
Jan 13 2012, 17:33:34
Now I am on :
4.0.3
Sense 3.6
Soft 3.33.401.53
My phone keeps on asking if I want to update to v55.
If I select OK, it reboots and some time later, it asks the same again.
I can go in bootloader and select fastboot. It shows the CWM image for 2 sec and then continu to normal start up.
What do I need to do to get my update installed ?
( PS : I like to stay on the HTC image/soft )

U can't upgrade via ota with custom recovery, go back to stock recovery...

I have the same sort of problem. Still with your file it won't update. I get a screen with the android emblem and some blue thing in him that suggest there is something working. But in about a minute it just stops and restarts. Then it becomes clear nothing happened.
This is going on for at least a couple of weeks now and it is getting more than annoying.
Is there another solution to get this update to work?

If you not use the stock recovery she's not gonna update your phone,flash the stock recovery and after that the update....

But if I flash the stock recovery, I'am lossing all my settings and install's correct ?
Or is there a way to backup these first and set them back after flashing the stock recovery ?

Jonny, will you upload a stock version of this? I'm planning to do it but don't want to duplicate efforts. So if you do it I will not.

Hehe you are too quick and I was at work anyway (surprise shift - phone call at 10 in the morning, not what I wanted to wake up to ). I will post a stock 3.33.401.154 build though (I dont think XE has had a .155 so .154 is the latest in XE version)

Anyone got the update yet (via OTA)? I've got nothig yet...

This is probably one of the many questions I am gonna keep asking over the time. I am looking to root my HTC sensation but I need to get myself fully informed about all that rooting phenomenon. Anyway, I need to find whats my firmware version.
I can see Android version as 4.0.3
HTC Sense version as 3.6
Software number as 3.32.777.51
Kernel version as 3.0.16
Is it anyone one of the above? Thanks

First find out what is you HBOOT after that

I had also raised a case with HTC and asked them to provide RUU. High hopes
They replied take the phone to service center. ha ha.
Waiting to see if anyone has Indian RUU. It might help a lot of users.

There are several versions here for ASIA
ASIA_TW - Taiwan
ASIA_WWE - Singapore, Malaysia etc i guess
But none of these are applicable for sensation xe for india -
The file will look something like -
RUU_PYRAMID_LE_ICS_35_S_hTC_Asia_India_3.33.720.106
for ICS
for GB it might be
PYRAMID_LE_GB_XX_S_hTC_Asia_India_1.7x.xxx.xxx
I am not able to find it anywhere.

actually ha can't use the gingerbread one because he is on S-ON so ha can't downgrade
