EXPERIMENTAL!
So much for my little hiatus. Now, during my relaxing period, I had an epiphany of sorts. I though, how can we get Sense/Hero to run even more quickly and smoothly. I first looked at a "normal" cupcake/donut ROM, the first thing that stood out in my mind is use of the system partition. Now, in these normal ROM's, everything is on 1 partition, and thus you generally get a faster experience (Yes, I know about the slow NAND). In Sense/Hero ROM's, most cooks have decided to offload the system/app to the data partition. In doing this, you have plenty of space to create a full featured Hero build. But, by doing so, the system/app (symlinked) is cut off from the rest of the guts. This causes alot of problems when libs or the framework call on the apps, mainly LAG or total freezes! I've decided to try to cut out the middle man, like Tom Shane. Now, there is a limit on how much can be put in the system partition, but no data, so building a ROM like this is really tricky. You HAVE to sacrifice some things, but my goal is to get everything wedged in there. Realistically, it's not possible, but I will try.

Sense build based off 32A dump. Fully optimized by me.
What makes it special?
Everything is on the SYSTEM partition! I'd love to see someone build something faster. Seriously!

Yes, but I don't consider this (SenSe) a "LIGHT" ROM

Not really. It's actually pretty stable. But, me being me, it'll probably be constantly updated.

I hope so! I'm hoping to get more apps super optimized by either me or the community. Suggestions can also make it better.

I moved Customize, etc and Fonts to the Data partition. They just sit there for the most part. Oh yeah, no apps to sd. No Boot screen, yes, it will just turn black! And, one other thing, it's ENGLISH ONLY! for now.....
What is required?
32B, 3 partitions (if I want to be a hardass, I can make it only 2) fat32, ext/2/3 and linux-swap and 1/2 a brain.

****nano SenSe ROM is made for customization. It is bare bones Sense. The newest version will allow for you to install about 9-10MB of apps left out to the system partition. You will still have 250mb+ of space on the data partition/internal flash.

Addon/update package for nano SenSe which will basically add widgets and apps that aren't possible with the initial flash. Here's what's included: AmazonMP3, Ringtone Trimmer, Twitter, Voice Dialer, and Sound Recorder. Widgets: Music, Twitter, Weather, Bookmarks, Calendar, Clock, Message & Photo. Old boot screen is now included, but doesn't sync correctly. Will be in the update folder. Boot to recovery and flash. You DO NOT need to wipe. **Only for nano SenSe!
NEW! Signed apps for all widgets/apps missing from the base nano SenSe build. Since you only have around 6.5MB of space to install to the system partition, I have made it simple so you can choose. Simply download, copy to the root of your SD, reboot to recovery and flash. You do not need to wipe. After the names of each name, there is a number. That number is how big the file is and how much space it will use. You bring up an excellent idea; however, it's just not as easy as all that. It's the hint of individualism that developers strive for. If we were to create some "SUPER ROM" then our individual talents would become obsolete; lost in translation.
I've considered something along those lines though...so it's not completely absurd to suggest that as you did.
Sadly there will never been a "perfect Rom", As each Dev. has a personal touch to each Rom, and what he/she feels is acceptable per there Rom's.
As stated, we could work together, but then surely, Somethings would not be ideal for others in the group, which in turn could very well slow progress down, or even halt the production completely.
I for one Would offer PS skills to that Dev., But to say what should be in a rom is anyone's guess.
Mainly We do it out of Bored, or just really enjoy fiddling with things.
*Back to topic.*
One thing I've noticed, is no Ring lag so I'll definitely be adding the media back to the system Folder.

Really nice ROM, really fast but i have big problem. The phone doesn't wake up after a while!

Available are the search and the Clock! and the normal android widgets!
btw, i'm not able to insert a new APN, i cant write anything at the textboxes like APN Name, APN, Username or password. Only numbers!
Is there a way to push any of those widgets that have been taken out? If so, could someone explain how to?

The Philosophy:
There must be users out there that just want a simple Base ROM on which they can install whatever they want and once in a while just flash an update without the need to Wipe and restore all over again.
The Solution:
There are no ROM's that fit my needs. So I made my own personal stripped down ROM. And why not share it in the way that I strip, change an customize it for myself.
The result:
Probably the most un-fanboy-friendly ROM.
It has practically nothing that is cool, no apps and extra's, niente.
It's clean and setup for the simple man that needs all the space he can get.
(That and minimum support for Droidwall and AddFree)

All the usual applies, do a NanDroid, 32.47.00.32U_5.10.05.23 Radio suggested. (myself I like 32.46.00.32U_5.10.05.17_2 better)
Do a Full Wipe IF Rom doesn't boot @ First Flash. (Hopefully your last Wipe Ever)
And a partitioned SD card with Fat32 Partition First, Second a Ext3 (or Ext4) << Partition, and a small or empty Linux-Swap partition at the end.

Q: I get an error when flashing the UPD file.
A: Flash again, it's having problems making \Data\App\, which maybe even is a good thing.

A: Go to Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications >> All Aplications >> App >> Delete Data >> Wipe Cache >> Force Close >> Remove App >> Install From Market.

A: Yes, and/but it also has the Screen off Governer to scale down to 245MHZ with screen off. And you can only Underclock, there's no kernel used to overclock.
Q: When I Go to Settings >> Personalize >> Scenes,Settings Crashes?
A: There's no Sense, so hence these settings will not work.

But to be honoust ATM i'm actually playing around with AurxT's Sense HD ROM ATM, it's cool but also mucho bloated.
The Super Fast Boot is not as fast when you pull the battery.
It only works when you actually use the Power Down Option Only so it looks more like some sort of Sleep mode.
I'll think over the weekend if I'd go for a Desire HD Based Rom but then with the NSA concept.

Some have a few original ideas in them.
And only very few differentiate.

As for HD Rom, i will only do something like that if i get a real Android Dev/Cook onboard. My amateurism won't do for that.
Adjusting Fonts in Laymans words:
Get yourself 7-Zip on Windows.
Open the UPD.zip in 7-zip.
Go to "\System\Fonts" folder and replace the Fonts.
Reflash without Whipe in ClockWork and disable Signature Checking on Rom install.
I will upload the original Fonts for those that prefer those.
And i will revert to regular Fonts in next update.

Glad you like it, it's from the Droid bionic I ported it & added some things. I'm fine tuning it for a true 100% theme like the notification bar power Widget icons & the on screen camera settings, & a bunch of other stuff. I'm share it with everybody when it's done.
I'm really looking forward to the modifications. I did notice a Problem with the "Stock Camera Software" in this ROM. After opening the camera, there are no adjustment icons available on the screen and if you try to take a snapshot, I get a Force close. ICS Camera and other "Non Core" Cameras seem to work fine though. I used rom toolbox to tweak your status bar icons

If you flash the new TrickDroid tweaks app - please note that in order to maximize the amount of working tweaks via the new app , you also need to flash Menu & APM, one of the EQS versions and one of the Rotating Rosie options in Aroma Installer. Also note, that link to tweak app in statusbar will only appear, after you first reordered toggles in TrickDroid tweaks app.

Q. I just installed this ROM and it looks identical to stock! Torxx, you ripped me off, this isn’t a custom ROM at all!
A. Not all ROMs have different themes, launchers, or are based off CM. This ROM is dedicated to maintaining the stock feel for those who like their phone but hated all the bloat and wanted a clean, lighter rom with better battery life and more customization options. If you are expecting 20 home screens and JB graphics, feel free to install another ROM, but this is not what Trickdroid is meant to offer.
Q. What’s the difference between the T-Mobile version and the Regular version?
A. The regular version is based off of the latest 2.21 base (Android 4.0.4) from HTC and has several changes from HTC themselves that improves the user experience. The T-Mobile version is based off the TMOB RUU which is on the 1.84 base (Android 4.0.3). Anyone with an S4 processor based One S can install either, but the regular version will lack wifi calling for T-Mobile users. Other than that, there is no other downside to using the regular version on T-Mobile. Wifi calling is the only difference.
Keep in mind that because of the different bases being used for the two versions, they have different tweak packages as well.
Do not use this ROM if you have an S3 processor based One S
Q. Okay, I’ve installed Trickdroid but I don’t see any of the customizations on the list! Torxx, you ripped me off again!
A. The ROM itself is meant to be as clean and close to stock as possible. The tweaks are available with the tweaks package. After you flash the ROM, boot it up and then reboot into recovery and flash the tweaks package. An installer will popup and you can choose what tweaks you want.

Auto Brightness
The stock HTC auto-brightness settings are a little generous and tend to be a little TOO bright when they shouldn't need to be. This mod will lower the brightness of the display to help save battery.
APM and Auto Brightness
APM stands for Advanced Power Menu. It adds additional features to the power menu (when you hold power) such as volume settings, toggles for mobile network and airplane mode, as well giving you more options for restarting (normal, hot restart, bootloader, recovery). This also includes the auto brightness patch.
APM
See above. This does not contain the auto brightness patch. If you want both, install the above option.
Custom bootanimation
Replaces the stock HTC One S boot animation with a Trickdroid one
Dark HTC bootanimation
Replaces the stock HTC One S white boot animation with the exact same one, only with a black background. One you go black...
1% Circle battery
Replaces the battery indicator on the notification bar with a circle that has numbers inside of it. The numbers indicate battery percentage and the circle depletes/disappears as the battery drains.
1% Stock battery
Adds little numbers into the stock battery indicator on the notification bar to indicate percentage.
Extended Quick Settings and 1% stock battery
Extended Quick Settings, otherwise known as EQS, adds a menu with toggles for system functions (such as wifi, volume modes, mobile network, and many more) into your notification menu. These are available when you press on your carrier name. It also adds the 1% stock battery patch above.
Extended Quick Settings and 1% circle battery
Same as above but instead of the 1% stock battery, you will have the 1% circle battery.
Extended Quick Settings and ICS Statusbar
Same as above but your entire notification bar will be replaced with the ICS style status bar, which does not have the 3D effect and is just a flat bar with the ICS "roboto" font.
Extended Quick Settings with tabbed UI
Another extended quick settings style, but instead of pressing the carrier name to get to the quick settings, there are tabs at the bottom (ala HTC Sense 3.0) that let you switch between notifications and settings. This has a 1% battery notification patch but it does not look like the stock. It is similar, but does not use the default icon.

See above, but with the circle battery included instead.
Extended Quick settings with tabbed UI, white ICS icons and MIUI bottom bar
See above, but it will use an ICS style top bar with ICS icons, and the battery notification icon will be replaced with a thin bar right below the notification bar that indicates battery remaining.
Rosie 6x5 and custom background
Gives you a 6x5 layout for icons on your homescreens. It also allows you to add custom backgrounds to your app drawer(correct me if I'm wrong please, I've never used this feature...). Requires tweak app from old package.

On the stock Sense 4.0 keyboard, the keys will have their rounded edges changed to square edges.

Q. Where’s the “Remove 3-dot menu?” YOU HAD ONE JOB, TORXX and H_STHEONE64! ONE JOB!
A. This question is asked over and over. Previously, remove 3-dot menu had to be a patch but HTC has included it in the ROM natively since moving to Android 4.0.4. This ROM is now based off this base and thus you can find the option to remove the 3-dot menu in Settings>Display, Gestures, & Buttons>Recent Apps Button
Q. My HTC Widgets are all gone! What did I do wrong?
A. You haven’t done anything wrong, this occurs sporadically to random people. To get your widgets back, go to Settings>Apps>All>HTC Sense and tap the “Clear Data” option. Or alternatively, you can reboot into recovery and clear cache/dalvik cache as your first try for when anything goes wrong. Usually something left over in the cache can cause random errors. It’s harmless to try so please do that first.
Q. I’m using TWRP to flash and my phone is stuck at the HTC logo. How come?
A. Relying on TWRP to flash the boot.img is not reliable. Please use the Boot_flash_script to flash the boot.img or do it yourself in fastboot. Having an incompatible boot.img is the common reason for being stuck at the boot logo.
Q. I’m confused as to which Tweak package to install. There’s so many links and versions of the tweak package.
A. Install this one: http://d-h.st/BDr
This is the latest tweak package and is at the end of the tweak package post. Any tweaks in this package are guaranteed to work. The old tweak package (http://d-h.st/lu3) is still available because people wanted access to the Trickdroid Tweaks App, which is no longer offered because the whole tweak package has been over-hauled and a lot of the options in that app no longer apply. There are some things people want to use though (autobrightness control for example).
If you are going to use the old tweak package, do not install anything but the tweaks app as the framework has changed since that tweak package was offered (hence why a new package is used). Any tweaks that alter the framework from the old package will cause boot loops.
Q. I've flashed the tweak package and now my phone is stuck on the boot screen! Help!
A. You completely skipped the last question didn't you? You are stuck in the boot screen because you have flashed a tweak that contains a framework change for the wrong base. If you are using this ROM (Regular version) then use the latest tweak package for v6/v7. If you are using the TMOB version, use the old tweak package for v5.
Go back to recovery(power+volume down), restore your nandroid backup (or if you didn't make a backup, sorry but you'll have to wipe data/cache/dalvik and reflash the rom) and install the proper tweak package.
Q. Whenever I send an SMS, my network signal will drop and the message won’t send.
A. Reboot to recovery, clear cache/dalvik cache.
Q. I’m getting G for my signal! How come I’m only getting GPRS instead of 3G or HSPA+?
A. This is a problem in HTC’s handy work. There are cases being reported where people are getting the G symbol instead of 3G or H but if you do a test with a speed test app, you’ll see that you’re still getting HSPA+ speeds. The symbol is not an effective method of determining network speed. For the time being, just assume G stands for Great!
Q. Does this ROM come with the latest radio?
A. No it does not come with the latest radio. For those with HBoot of 1.13, we cannot flash radios and we must apply SuperCID and then OTA to the 2.21 base to get the latest radio.

This radio can be used by both T-Mobile users and the rest of the world. Yes, Americans are special. Radio is separate from the ROM, so if you have an older radio and are afraid to SuperCID and OTA, don’t worry, the ROM will work the same way.
Q. How come there’s no more screenshot option in the APM tweak?
A. It hasn’t been implemented properly yet, the tweaks are still being worked on. For the time being, use the HTC method: Power button + Home at the same time.

I know it would work but wifi calling wont work for eu base

Thank you for this ROM, optimized Sense is exactly what I want on this phone. Unfortunately, Wifi calling is an absolute necessity for me, so I'll have to wait until some Tmo US-based ROMs come out. Keep up the great work though!

Jellybean Based Roms
It takes a lot of time to write this. Will add Jellybean roms as soon as i finish adding Kitkat and LP roms i.e available.

I am thankful that you have created such an easy information links.
i have a problem with my device, whenever i want to write IMEI in my device, which i accidently deleted not able to write by software, even i tried with mobile uncle tools engineering mode AT+ Command then it gives error like "COMMAND CAN NOT RUN IN USERBUILD"
I some how got temporary solution but my main problem is
I tried each and every recovery you have posted over here in both stock ROM version i.e. KITKAT & LOLLIPOP but i am not able to get recovey.
some how TWRP image worked in KITKAT but when i try to flash restore factory setting and wipe cache, dalvik it says "Can't able to access E:"
I am not able to access E: drive means it doesnot show internal memory so i can not able to flash custom zip rom.
Kindly help in both problem

to fix both problems, you need to flash kitkat firmware by using 'format + download' option in sp flash tool.
while flashing stock rom, replace the stock recovery.img with ctr recovery v.3 (can be used to flash both lolipop and kitkat roms.)
Then check the permanent imei fixing method mentioned here. to fix imei permanently. then you can upgrade to lolipop if necessary.
