This rom is something I've been working on for fun and to get a better handle on what works for mods and tweaks on 4.x.x roms. I chose Evervolv's base because of it's minimalistic & stable qualities. This is 4.0.4 with HWA combined with what IMO is the fastest most stable kernel I have ran so far on any ICS roms. Most all mods and tweaks are built into the ram-disk so they are present at first boot every boot. This seems to provide for a more responsive experience with the proper settings. I do not claim the settings I've used to be the best possible for ICS or any other roms at this time, the current version will reflect settings I have tried out with positive results. Those parameters are a WIP and I will continue to update as I'm aware of and find better settings, all input and suggestions is highly welcomed. Feel free to run your favorite scripts tweaks and mods, if you would please share your results and best settings. Please read and follow "How To Flash" below for best results
Thanks and enjoy!

Sorry for the hold up, I posted Evervolves latest gapps in OP. Let me know if the others worked out or not.

Rom flashes fine. I used gapps from another ics and it works too. I even flash dta2sd and that works also. Phone rebooted 3 times and loaded up normally.
After it loaded and sit for a while, I managed to install most of my apps with a few exception. Those apps that's not from the market, I can't seem to install. Let's say, rewired Pandora won't install and a few other apps. No explanation, just say not installed.
Rom seems to be running pretty smooth, except as I'm typing this on my phone. Its a lil choppy. I guess you can say a lil delay from one letter to the next.
I'm going to flash "mason I sbc" and see if that makes a different.
Edit: didn't flash the kernel yet. I waited a while and install swype and all is well now. It fixed the keyboard lagged for stock keyboard.

video playback?
camcorder?

Pictures yes....

Edit: video playback you tube works

Did you change the governor? I think I borked the default "on demand" governor. I'm using smartassv2 and its pretty snappy. Some phones just don't like fso, so it could be a kernel swap will help. I will offer options in next update.

Thanks for answering that, as far as video playback, YouTube works great, you might try a third party player for vids.
I'm looking into options for the camera and camcorder issues. If anyone knows of any fixes or alternate apks please share.

Yea I'm running smartass 245-998 everything seems to be fine now...I like to Swype anyway but after installing it did went back to normal and keyboard is as smooth as butter. Looking very promising though. I've tried quite a ics hwa and this one seems to run pretty nice.

Cool good to hear. I don't know what it is but this rom just seems to have to settle in. I went to sleep a couple of hours after flashing it last night, and this morning and afternoon it's been smokin' fast.

Jaime,
I can't seem to install any apps that's not from the market. I tried unchecking the check that allow installation but it won't uncheck. I've tried uncheck reboot but the checks remains there and even though that "allows me to install" I still can't

I can now check and uncheck the unknown application but still can't install apps...it might be the gapps that I've install? I used an old gapps from another ics Rom. I'm pretty sure it's not irrelevant...

Wow, I didn't expect to catch this much flak for posting a rom.
Anyway, I posted from my phone using the XDA Developers app. I don't think it requires minimum posts if it is done from there. I apologize if I broke some rules by doing this.
Where does is the rom? This is what I got.

I understand the skepticism, but it really isn't. If you don't believe me, download, scan with every anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-malware software you have.
What I don't understand is the fact that people on this site will implicitly trust 90% of people, and when someone does a quick post while mobile everyone decides to not trust them.

You must not be very familiar with the way silverlight works. It requires the use off popups to allow a browser to download the file. I looked for a way to do it without popups, but it doesn't work. Information
'Fast Form' is a minimalistic stock ROM created from the latest Honeycomb firmware by Samsung.
This is one of my first public released ROMs so it's not the greatest, however I really want to try and make it the best I can!
I'm trying to keep this ROM stable and smooth so I won't add something that benefits one feature, but breaks another. I want a
smooth device for myself to get through my first year of high school. In order to meet these standards, the ROM is based off of
OMGBBQROM by bdds13. Big thanks to him for letting me use his ROM as a base! As of 1p.m. PST 6.1.12, the ROM now also
includes the favorable ICS theme by Antiochasylum! Thanks for letting me use it in my ROM!
Features
Latest Honeycomb firmware by Samsung
Rooted
Zip-aligned apps
De-odexed
Stability and Support
Includes latest version of the Market or Playstore
De-Bloated
Speed Enchancments
Build.prop Tweaks
And many more other modifications!
Coming Soon
Better stability
More speed tweaks
New included apps
Other cool features
Special Thanks
I just wanted to thank bdds13 for the base and Antiochasylum for the theme + all of my friends on XDA for teaching me a little bit about how ROMs work!
Disclaimer
I am not responsible if you brick, break, blow up, drop, lose, or get your device pregnant. Everything you do is your responsibility.
This ROM is only made for the GT-P6210/WiFi only Tablet, It is not compatible with Gary's Kernel, and it may not work on everyone's device.
I'm not a real developer and I don't know how to fix your device if you break it!
Installation
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU BEGIN. Place ROM zip on your device. It may go on the Tablet storage or an external sdcard. Enter the recovery by pushing Power+Vol_Up (releasing power after the tab is turned on), then install.
It's recommended to wipe all of your caches and if coming from a different ROM, a full data wipe. DO NOT WIPE YOUR SYSTEM!

I've even gone so far as to follow the install instructions. For OMGBBQROM and still have bootloop...
Not to mention my backup is failing to restore....
Help?????
about to give this a try.. will post results afterwards. i hope the rom does what it claims ill be happy because to me it seems the touchwiz interface is somewhat laggy. is there any notes on battery life tweaks by any chance?

Make sure that you have the WIFI tab. This is ONLY made for the WiFi tablet. Second, if you are installing from Cyanogenmod, make sure that you nuke your cache, data, and system partitions then restore a backup.
When restoring your backups, sometimes it may seem that the recovery has locked up, this may not be the case. Our recovery is very basic and lacks a lot of functions. While the screen may look frozen, it may actually be processing your restore. Please give your tablet at least 10 minutes to attempt to do a restore.
If you are having issues flashing try these steps:
1. Go back to a stable ROM or a stock one
2. Nuke the system, data, and caches on it
3. Flash the ROM
4. Nuke the caches and data
5. Restore your stable or stock ROM
6. Nuke the data and caches
7. Flash the Fast Form ROM and reboot
If you simply cannot get your backup to restore through the recovery, just wipe your data, cache, dalvik cache (under advanced in recovery), and system (under mounts and storage). Then flash the stock ROM zip or the Deodexed one by Antiochasylum

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback! I'm working on some more tweaks as I type this right now! Tuning the GPU to handle almost all the UI and having the CPU set to a lag free preference are my current objectives.

Working on some battery life tweaks, but I don't want them to interfere with my speed enchantments. There's a few baked in already though from the base itself. I have had great battery life personally (even though my opinion may be a bit bias xD)

Kernels
The same custom kernel used in AOKP ROMs now available to use in all AOSP based ROMs. (AOKP, CM10, ParanoidAndroid) Will not work with stock Touchwiz based ROMs!!
These use the anykernel flash method so it creates a new boot.img on the fly. It will not interfere with any customizations that may be in your current boot.img's ramdisk.

Among the many updates and fixes in Build-4 we have a new kernel. Keeping the trend alive we have yet another first for our Tablets. Voltage Control!! You can use Performance Settings in ROM Control to set voltages, SetCPU and a few other apps available on the market work as well. NOTE don't set any voltages at boot until you are once again 1000% sure your device is stable. It's pretty safe to UV 1GHz and below, just use small 25mv steps to begin with. 1.2GHz is close on most devices, speeds above that I wouldn't mess with too much. Remember all devices are different, so there aren't any magic voltages that will make you want to throw away your charger. Use common sense and have fun tinkering.
New kernel AOKP_p51xx_1-52GHz_v2-2.zip posted.
9/21/2012
I've built and uploaded a new kernel that includes a few more OC options. Configured now are 1.2GHz, 1.35GHz, 1.42GHz, 1.48GHz, and 1.52GHz. There have been a few other tweaks made that all add up to FAST. Remember your device may not be able to handle the same speeds as someone else's. Don't cry or feel bad, it's just the hardware luck of the draw. Just like people, there are some freaks out there. The new kernels have 1-52GHz in the file name. Now go forth and flash!!
9/17/2012
New Another overclock option!
New Semi-Nightly Sept. 16/17 builds now include a 1.42GHz step. Kernel still safe boots to 1.2GHz and you can use built-in Performance settings or SetCPU to OC. I wouldn't recommend using "set at boot" until you're 1000% sure your device is stable at 1.42GHz.
Working Samsung keyboard dock
While not all the special keys work it's a start
On the fly GPU Overclocking
Another first for our tabs! Based on imoseyon's Tuna kernel work. To change speeds simply edit /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/gpu_oc. Values are as follows: 0 = 307MHz 1 = 384MHz 2 = 512MHZ
On top of the built in 1.2GHz overclock my tab runs really well at 512MHz. Be mindful the higher GPU freqs will cause an increase in heat production. The values will revert back to 0 (307MHz) on boot. So if you find your tab locked up or acting odd at a higher clock speed just reboot it. On the other side of that you'll need to change the value every time you boot the tablet.
Some nenamark2 scores to illustrate the GPU overclock....
Value 0 = 307MHz
Value 1 = 384MHz
Value 2 = 512MHz
Thanks everyone for following my AOKP thread. Its now time to pass it on..

Works really nice on 5110! Just wanna say thanks for the work & share.
It´s very very smooth and as compared to 4.0.3/4.0.4 Stock i think its like WARP 7
Just one Question: Is there any Way to change Fahrenheit to Celsius in Lockscreen-Weather?
On Homescreen i got Celsius working after changing it in settings... but Lockscreen still points F...

It just has to update. Default is 60 minutes, you can click "get weather" in the top right of weather settings in ROM Control to force it to happen. That will update the lockscreen to show C instead of F.

Hi,
My Tablet disconnects WiFi all 20 Minutes.
I use it for listening to Webradio via a app. So i start the app, hit play and put the Tablet in Standby.
Exactly after 20 Minutes it stops playing. After unlocking i see the notification "no internet connection" in statusbar. It automatically reconnects to Wifi then, and i can hear music for 20 Minutes again. I havent that syndrome with stock ROM. (Same App, same Accesspoint).
Any Ideas how to fix that?
regards!
PS: Everything is working fine when power adapter is connected.

While not the best of options, you could manually edit /system/bootmenu/config/overclock.conf & /system/bootmenu/scripts/overclock.sh.
I looked at the Motodoido CM90807 patch and it pretty much does that -- I'd delete smartass.ko from the patch since that'll overwrite the smartassV2 I put in PA. That said, it shouldn't be a problem. (I'd seriously delete cpufreq_smartass.ko since it has some bugs --all roms-- and keep V2). Also, don't select use "Use Default Values" in the Bootmenu after flashing his patch -- he didn't tweak that part of the script and its set up for 3Vsel Froyo Kernel.
If you take smartassV2 from the DX pack and rename it to smartass it can be selected and tweaked from the bootmenu -- an easy-peasy mod and you don't even have to tweak any scripts or config files for it to work.
//Also, go to the PA thread at the Defy Forums -- They're really good at pointing out whats wrong and buggy; and since all the roms share almost the exact same code, what they report will be revelant to you guys as well (except for all the damn battery crap...you'd think the Plus users would find the correct battery files they need and keep them handy if they flash lots of roms).
And if anyone here has ran V6 and patched the jar, post it here and I'll make it into a flashable zip for evyerone to use. I'll also install the scripts to /system/xbin for ease-of-use. I'd do it myself, but I flashed about 4-5 roms yesterday and already 2 today. I'm on CM7 and can't do it myself.

I'm used to tweaking that part of overclock.sh so all users have to do is apply the default values and they'll be using what I set -- its to counter the addon.d script that backs up your previous OC settings.
A bit of a fix -- if you flashed that V6 patch yesterday it included the fixed su binary recommended on the V6 thread (in the StarterPack). Apparently it doesn't play nice with JB roms and you'll lose root if its flashed. I have a new one up with out the V6 su binary. Its located here

No need to worry about boot loaders, etc with this ROM! You will be able to freely use the Atrix Bootstrap app, BootMenu Manager, or Jims GB to ICS utility to FXZ back to GB 2.3.6 if you follow these instructions as this is just a system & data partition flash.
You must currently be on ICS to flash this!
** BootMenu Manager is not able to use this ROM as a second system. You can install this ROM with it and you can install it after the flash to manage your custom recovery **
1. Backup your data with a nandroid or TiBU at the least
2. Copy the ROM to your phone and reboot into custom recovery
3. WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESTORE
4. Flash the ROM, reboot and enjoy!

Thanks to Team Xiaomi for the Official ME865 build. We used this as our base for this ROM.
Also a big special thanks to fusionjack @miuiandroid.com for the 3-way reboot, smoothscrolling mod, and center clock mod!

Mother of ROM ! Thanks man for this <3 downloading and trying now
Sweetness looks good.
Installed over your [ROM] Team Shogun | Based on ICS 67.21.125 | v1.2. Flashed from Bootmenu. Worked great.
It takes a while to boot. Under five minutes for me. Didn't factory reset first flash. I was probably impatient. Pulled battery, got into stock recovery, factory reset, reboot got in.
Didn't have data, but found wireless networks, and was slow as hell. Looks like it locked up, then rebooted.
Second boot into it, everythings working sweet. Data came up, camera working, wireless working, tethering working. very nice.
It is a little sluggish. Installed Spare Parts and cranked window and animations to fast. Picked up a little. Cranked window animation scale up to 1x. Picked up a little more.
Great job. I'm not a MIUI fan, never have been, but this is pretty damn good. I'd love to pull some **** outta of MIUI and add to ICS or JB.
Going back to your SwiftyTrix, I guess it is. Maybe one day I get MIUI'd.
EDIT :
Then again, after messing with it to get everything working to flash back, kinda digging it. Damn you !!!! May have to back it up first....
Once again, great job !
Everything works well except text to speech fails (Unfortunatly Google Text-to-speech Engine has stopped) when trying to use navigation or just change TTS settings. I tried to clear the app data for it to no avail sadly. Also I have Straight Talk for my provider and it shows Airvoice Wireless as the provider tag (I did delete the one AT&T APN and added one Straight Talk APN for data and one for MMS). Also the phone gets pretty warm and the battery drain is very rapid (15-25% per hour).
Other than that it is great!
Not going to lie, I am quite excited about this! I have been waiting for CM10 but MIUI has always had special place in my heart. Will probably follow dicksteele and use bootmenu to install. I will be going from SCv7 so we will see how it goes. Hopefully my slow internet will download the file tonight so I can install tonight and have the full day tomorrow running it! Thanks again!
edit: also the instructions at the top is a little confusing. Just the part where it says the bootmenu can't be used. So just to clarify we can use bootmenu to install?

Yes if you have it installed on your current ROM ou can use it to install. You can also reinstall it after the flash for custom recovery but I was not able to get it to work as a second system with my other ROM.
just installed this..and i have to say this is [email protected]#$%in believable mate!!!!..hats off to u!!!!..everything is built in..the one i liked most is that you can enable/disable root permission with one tap!!!!!..everything rocks..exception is battery though..mine went down 16% in past 47 min..also my phone heats up more than usual

Sounds good! Thanks for the reply. Can't wait to see what other improvements you have for next friday haha.
Installed it and its awesome !! But is it me or the phone gets hot for everyone ?? I'm thinking that the GPU is being used somewhere or may be OCed and thats why the phone gets hot and has battery draining fast.
Edit : battery is draining like crazy for now, !! 20% in 1 hour
Umm just one question.. OFFICIAL?? Or unofficial?
