[Q] is there anybody considered to run a wp7 on nexus s?

yeah, the title says. i am not a hacker, while curious about flash a wp7 rom to phone, thus both android and wp7 can be experienced in one phone !
is it possible?

No. Closed Source OS without support for any chipsets other than Snapdragons.

It would be nice if someone ported WP7 to Nexus S, but it's nearly impossible.

If you don't like it no one is forcing you to. Some people actually like WP7.
I think it's pretty beautiful.
I love android as my nerdy OS, but even I think WP7 is pretty good. Not as much customization but I wouldn't mind running it.

Its not possible to run WP7 on a Nexus S because WP7 is closed source and impossible to port without it. But you could always get a WP7-style launcher for the look of wp7 but all the benefits of running Android. Launcher 7 is a good choice.

ok, here is a question. what is the best android phone to come out around the same time as the iphone 5? and which is it better to buy, bassed on hardware, software, looks, everything.

looks and software is really derivative, but hardware wise new nokia lumia camera will blow everything else out of the water camera wise. The S3 for everything else

Apart from being off topic your wrong about lumia as best camera in the world on a smartphone is the 41 mp pureview 808 lumia doesn't even come close to it.

Apple hardware is great, even though it's not even made by them, but won't rival anything that Android has to offer. The 4S has a 1GHz dual core processor. So what? Say hello to the HTC Rezound, HTC One X, Sony Xperia S, LG Nitro, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE etc.
I don't think I need to say much more.
Apple software is ****. iOS can GTFO IMO. Sure, it's clean, simple, fast, reliable and freakin' boring!
It's an app drawer...big deal.

I concur. The Xperia skin actually makes me want to stick with the stock rom. Much better than many others I've used, which usually have me running to cyanogen

Returned iphone 4s...now between htc 1s and galaxy s2? cant decide.

Ok so i returned the iphone 4s that i bought for my girl cause you guys brought it to my attention that i will not get 4g on simple mobile. Now we are at a stand still in deciding between the galaxy s2 and the htc 1s. What do you guys think the better phone is? These will be tmobile phones running on simple mobile by the way. Thanks.

What does that mean? Are you talking about the galaxy s3? How are they avoiding lawsuits by making the phone ugly?

Yep. I agree that was probably uncalled for. Sorry to thekid1. A better answer may be to wait until the new Samsung is released and for the old model to drop in price. Thekid1 has asked about things before that are easy to research.
I would never ask an internet forum how I should spend my hard earned money, but that is me. I wish all my clients would ask me to how to spend their money.

Like someone said before if you want to get updates get a Nexus and don't waste your money on any other android phone. I'm done with non Nexus devices I'm tired of the lack of suppose all the manufactures have for phones. You won't get much suppose from Samsung been there with the Vibrant they will release a very slightly revised S3 3 months later and forget you exist. No thanks.

Just get the One S. It is insanely fast and is built really well. I love it for a couple key reasons:
1. It has the new snapdragon S4 which is based off the newer smaller A15 architecture rather than the A9 which is in the Gs3 and almost all other phones right now. The A15 is more powerful and uses less energy.
2. It has a smaller 4.2" screen which in my opinion is the biggest a screen should be.
3. Build quality is really good and feels good in my hand.
That is my grain of salt for consideration.

Metal does not make a phone better I've seen HTC phones come out of the box with dust under the screen. Never witnessed that on a Samsung just look on their threads faulty cpus bad screens. That's why my brother uses my sensation and I have the g2x

Suggest Me a Smart Phone

Hai guys Im new here So,m forgive me if i go wrong somewhere.
As the topic suggests, i want an android device. Keep in mind that this will be my first android device.
After a lots of reading, i choose Xperia Mini Pro. even though it was a old series, i like the physical keyboard(I need it hardly).

Ok.. so as of right now I have a Sony Ericsson and its a pretty good phone and its popular.. but I want a phone that has 4.0 and has most updates and I can play good games/apps and music on it & that has updates that are recent.. but I don't wanna be broke out of money for paying for a high price.. any suggestions on what phone I should get?

Well if you need calling stick with a phone. If you have another phone for that get a tqvlet. The nexus 7 is a nice portable one. If you want larger screen is go for nexus 10 but the nexus 10 goes over your budget limit

I think the s4 will be a great phone except for the fact that Samsung usually used cheap materials. But an otter box can easily fix that
